About: I grew up with dogs and have been walking friends and neighbors dogs since I was a teen. There is nothing I love more than a long rambling walk with a curious and joyful dog. (Except maybe returning home with them to curl up together!) Unfortunately my apartment wont let me have a dog of my own, so I am hoping to get some quality dog time with the canines of Del Ray and Old Town Alexandria. I am free weekends and most evenings after my 9-5. I work in the city so unfortunately I am not available before 6pm on week days. I do not accept in- home boarding for either cats or dogs. Instead I will come to you, and follow whatever rules and safety precautions you have in place for your home. My cat is very "door curious" so I am experienced with keeping animals away from open doors and windows. I trained and walked dogs in high school so I am experienced with canines of all sorts!

About: Hello! I am currently pet-free, looking to get some experience with having animals in my and my family's lives. I will be the responsible party taking care of your pet, but plan to be assisted by my 9-year-old daughter who absolutely loves animals. We would love the chance to take care of your pet while you're away or during times when you need an extra hand for whatever reason. We love to play and snuggle as much as possible - if they're the snuggling type, of course! Weekend pet care is ideal for us, but we can make long weekends and longer stays work! We have no pets in our home, so your little one would get our full attention. I am able to travel around the Del Ray area to provide drop-in care or walks. If the pet stays with us, I do have a fenced in yard for small to medium dogs.
