“Gabriela did a great job walking my two pups. The pups seemed really happy and excited on the walks from the photos provided. She communicated everything well and gave good updates.”

About: Hi! I am here as dependable and caring animal lover who enjoys serving both pets and their lovely humans. I had a beloved dog of my own for years, and since then friends and family have trusted me to care for their pets with love and attention. I enjoy long walks, furry cuddles, and making pets feel safe and cared for while their owners are away. I’m conscientious, communicative, and passionate about giving pet parents peace of mind and reassurance that their furry family member is in good hands! I currently work remotely and have time in my schedule to attend to furry friends! I would schedule blocks to incorporate rover clients into my daily routine. Although I do not offer in-home services, I am available to conduct drop-ins at clients’ homes, provided that the necessary access and technology are available.
“Patrick has been a tremendous help with my dog’s midday walk. He is reliable, shows up even when it is raining, and gives me helpful updates so I know what has happened on the walk. Definitely recommend him.”

About: Every pet is different! I emphasize individualized care and consistent communication with the owner. Pictures and updates will be plentiful if requested. I am always looking to make some new animal friends! I moved to this area for graduate school and have stayed as I begin my career in the mental health field. I also work part time as a dance teacher and have a background in EMS but love to spend my free time with animals whenever I can! I was experienced in dog sitting in my home state and hope to continue that in this new location. Communicating with the owner is essential. Listening, knowing, and learning the animal is so important. I take the time to ensure I do all those things!
About: I offer boarding, day-sitting, and walking. I can watch medium and small dogs and cats. I love animals and have 2 dogs of my own! Your little one will be in good hands. I will give updates and follow your care instructions carefully! I am currently a graduate student and I only need to go into school one day a week. I am mostly at home caring for my own dogs, and I would love to open our home to other pets too. I have two dogs of my own. All furry visitors will have their own area to get comfortable and they are allowed on the furniture. There is a nice grassy area nearby where nice walks can be done and potty breaks can be given whenever necessary.
“Paula has been walking Benny a few times a week since early March and she’s been absolutely wonderful. She is VERY reliable, responsive and trustworthy. I know that Benny is in great hands with her. She sends thoughtful and detailed updates after her walks along with lots of pictures (which I love!) - it makes such a difference knowing how everything went. As a naturally anxious dog mom (Benny is my first pup on my own) I really appreciate the care and consistency she brings. It genuinely puts me at ease. I can always tell Benny has had a good walk because his energy is so more settled when I get home from work. Paula clearly really cares and treats pets with so much love. I highly recommend her! - Andrea & Benny the mini dachshund 🐾”

“Max was great. Went above and beyond both days we used his services. Day One went a little awry with one of our dogs getting injured (through no fault of Max's!) And he communicated immediately and even waited with our dogs until we were able to make it home even though he didn't have to. Would highly recommend Max and would use him again in the future.”

“Thank you Leo, very professional, on time and great communication! My pups are not the easiest but you made me feel at ease by handling the situation! Thank you Leo”

About: I have been around dogs for as long as I can remember. We had Brownie as our first family dog when I was seven. I’ve learned how to treat dogs properly and gently through him. In 2019, I got Cali. The first dog I could finally call my own. Through her, I learned how to bathe, feed, play, give love, take care of a dog in general. The following year, Cali was followed by Loki who was gifted to me by my husband. He is the most fun & energetic dog I have but also more sensitive compared to the other 9 dogs we have at home. Through Loki, I learned to be more mindful with his needs and what I feed him because he has a sensitive stomach. I also learned to be comfortable in administering medications & managing complex diets. I left my dogs in my home country when I moved here in the US in 2025. In my free time, I go to animal shelters so I could pet dogs. I have also helped my friends with their dogs by taking care of them when they are in a vacation. Currently, I am working full time 40 hours a week, which gives me a lot of free time. Being a dog lover, I got so excited when I found out I could earn some extra cash for doing something that is really close to my heart. I value in-person meeting so pet parents know I prioritize a safe, comfortable transition for everyone involved. If you have more questions, please feel free to ask me 😊 I am currently working evenings from 3 to 11 PM. I also have 2 full day off every week so I have plenty of time to walk and play with your pups 😊 I live in a top floor apartment in a clean, well-maintained & peaceful area. I value a clean and clutter free environment so you’ll be at peace knowing that your dog is in a safe place. There’s a dog park within the complex and there are also a lot of nearby nature parks that I personally love going for a short retreat, which your pup will also surely love!

About: Hi! I’m new to Rover and excited to start caring for pets through the app. While I’m new to pet sitting professionally, I’ve had dogs my whole life and have plenty of experience caring for them. I love dogs and enjoy spending time with them, whether it’s going for walks, playing, or just keeping them company. I’ll treat your pet like family and make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away. 🐾❤️ I’m currently transitioning out of the Air Force and beginning my studies to become a Physical Therapist Assistant through an online program. Because my classes are online, I have a flexible schedule that allows me to dedicate plenty of time and attention to caring for pets. I’m dependable, responsible, and excited to provide a safe, loving environment for your furry family members while you’re away. 🐾 When caring for your pet, I’ll follow their routine to help them feel comfortable and safe. I’ll make sure they have fresh water, meals, plenty of attention, and any special care they need. On walks, I’ll focus on their safety while giving them the exercise and care they deserve. I’ll also keep you updated so you can have peace of mind while you’re away. 🐾🐶❤️
About: Keith & Jess have been married for 15 years and each have over 25+ years experience owning and caring for dogs. They were the proud owners of a Beagle/Spaniel mix for 19 years, gaining experience in elder dog care in the process. Currently our travel schedules don’t allow for full time ownership but we’d love to care for your pup whenever we can! We currently both work from our home during the week, allowing for frequent walks and attention. Your pup will never be left alone for long stretches! There are no other pets in the home. The backyard is not fenced but backs up to a wooded nature preserve. The walking trails that go thru the woods make for great dog walking routes!

“Brianna is a great dog walker!! She is very quick to respond to messages and took the lead organizating the meet and greet. She was available on pretty short notice, which was such a relief. Brianna was immediately comfortable with my 150lb dog, which means she is comfortable with any dog! She is a great dog walker and I will be using her regularly!”

About: I have been pet sitting for family, friends, and clients alike since I was 15. All of my life I grew up around big dogs and would consider myself a dog person so no size or breed scares me- I am happy to give your pets the attention and love they deserve! I now live with my two cats whom I love dearly and are trying their hardest to turn me into a cat person. I am happy to walk and play with pets as often as requested and I am comfortable giving any sort of medication. I am currently a student at Northern Virginia Community College, but I am part time this summer so I have plenty of time to take good care of your pet(s)! I offer fees on a sliding scale based on income- contact me about my rates and I’m happy to adjust. I am a very attentive caregiver and will give your pets lots of attention while I’m on the clock. I am also happy to sit around and just keep them company if your pets are slow going like mine are.

About: I am an animal lover who grew up with at least 4 dogs and 2 cats at any given time ( my mum fosters strays, puppies and kittens). In college I fostered for a short time but my apartment wasn't dog friendly and had to stop. I haven't fostered since I moved to the PNW but I hope to start again soon. My current apartment is very pet friendly, I can take long or short walks depending on your dogs style or comfort level. I also drive an SUV which makes it super easy to move around or even pick up and drop pets off. I will be more than happy to meet you or your pet before hand to familiarize myself (in most cases I find that helpful)
“Ava was great with our puppy Dot. She walked him twice a day while we took a quick holiday trip and was communicative, reliable and very professional. She sent us updates after every walk to give us peace of mind and she followed directions extremely well. I highly recommend her to anyone with dog walking needs!”

“Sydney has been a lifesaver this summer. She is 100% reliable and has even managed to make my rather cranky old boy quite content on their daily weekday walks. She responds to my questions immediately and has been so willing to help when Pete had some disturbing health issues recently. I cannot recommend her highly enough. Thanks, Sydney :)”

I didn’t realize I could be even more grateful for Vianca, but here I am!! She took the absolute best care of my best bud during an insane heat wave, even going as far as to bring him a cool bandana to wear during his walk so he wouldn’t overheat. You can’t teach this type of intuitive, thoughtful care - she is simply magic! Thank you from the bottom of our hearts!

Chelsea has been nothing short of wonderful. She has taken such great care of my baby boy Kayson with every walk and has been so kind and responsive. I’ve been so happy with her services and I can speak the same for Kayson- he appreciates his walks. 10/10 recommended.

Ann is an exceptional dog walker. I have an elderly dog and Ann was very attuned to how she was feeling, how much she wanted to walk, and just followed her lead. Ann is a great communicator, sending me numerous pictures and written updates after each walk (three times a day). She is organized, friendly, is great with dogs, and makes sure everyone is on the same page. She coordinated with my cousin where my dog was staying. Rosie was very happy and relaxed when I went to pick her up.

Max was great. Went above and beyond both days we used his services. Day One went a little awry with one of our dogs getting injured (through no fault of Max's!) And he communicated immediately and even waited with our dogs until we were able to make it home even though he didn't have to. Would highly recommend Max and would use him again in the future.
