I am always looking to make some new animal friends! I moved to this area for graduate school and have stayed as I begin my career in the mental health field. About: Even though I’m new to professional pet sitting, I have 4 years of personal experience caring for my own dog back home. I’m very patient, gentle, and attentive, and I truly enjoy spending time with animals. I treat every dog as if they were my own, making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and happy during every walk. About: I have been pet sitting for family, friends, and clients alike since I was 15. All of my life I grew up around big dogs and would consider myself a dog person so no size or breed scares me- I am happy to give your pets the attention and love they deserve! I now live with my two cats whom I love dearly and are trying their hardest to turn me into a cat person. I am currently a student at Northern Virginia Community College, but I am part time this summer so I have plenty of time to take good care of your pet(s)! I am also happy to sit around and just keep them company if your pets are slow going like mine are.

About: I have experience with dog training, specifically puppies. I had the good fortune of learning how to train my Border Collie puppy, Khailo, (now 10) with a CCI-certified service dog trainer specializing in puppies. Khailo and I saw the trainer multiple times per week for about a year, establishing a good foundation that he always go back to. Raising Khailo taught me so much and turned me into a HUGE dog lover. Prior to that I liked dogs, now I LOVE them, and speak their language. I know how to properly walk a dog instead of letting the pup walk me, I know how to encourage good habits, and I will ALWAYS keep your dog's safety a number one priority. I also have experience administering medication to both puppies and adult dogs, have experience caring for senior dogs and dogs with special needs, have experience watching multiple dogs at once, and also have experience with play-dates and dog parks. I will treat your pup as if they are my own. I look forward to being of service to you and your pup! I currently work full-time with a hybrid schedule, where I’m in the office on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays, and work from home on Tuesdays and Fridays. I have both daytime and evening availability on Tuesdays, Fridays, weekends, and all major holidays. I am also available on Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday mornings before 8 am and evenings after 6:15 pm. I am open to both short-term and long-term set schedules to accommodate you and your pup's needs, and am available for boarding both at my home and pet-sitting at your place of residence. I live in a very pet-friendly community with lots of outdoor space for your pup to play, as well as an indoor dog park for inclement and/or freezing temperatures. When providing care at your home, I will respect all rules you have for your pup, such as not being allowed on furniture, etc. and will stick to your pet’s routine to keep them comfortable. I would be providing service outside of my home. Your pup’s safety is my number one priority and, having been trained by a CCI service dog trainer myself, I am well-versed in translating your dog behavior, thus keeping them safe in all environments and under all circumstances. I am a very maternal person, and will give your pup all of the love, care and attention they need!

About: No task is too big/small. I have a dog of my own and understand how important it is to have a trusted person care for him while I’m away. I will respect and care for your dog as I would want mine to be treated. I love all dogs from the smaller breeds to the larger ones. My work schedule is flexible. I’m available all day Friday-Sunday, early mornings (before 8am) and evenings on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday. Available on major holidays. Earning trust is key! I understand that some dogs may be curious, while others may feel territorial or scared. I'll respect their space, take them for walks, give lots of scratches and give them treats/food.

About: Keith & Jess have been married for 15 years and each have over 25+ years experience owning and caring for dogs. They were the proud owners of a Beagle/Spaniel mix for 19 years, gaining experience in elder dog care in the process. Currently our travel schedules don’t allow for full time ownership but we’d love to care for your pup whenever we can! We currently both work from our home during the week, allowing for frequent walks and attention. Your pup will never be left alone for long stretches! There are no other pets in the home. The backyard is not fenced but backs up to a wooded nature preserve. The walking trails that go thru the woods make for great dog walking routes!
