About: I love to give all furry friends love, attention, and time to just play or go on a walk. I have been caring for dogs and cats for 18 years and it has been such a joy and a very rewarding experience in my life. I have a lot of love, patience and compassion for animals and animal lovers. Caring for someone else’s dog or cat is a privilege. I know that if I wanted someone to care for my dogs or cats I would want the very best for them and the very best is giving them playtime, exercise, food, water, and for some belly rubs. Taking some time off of working a 9-5 so have tons of time to hang and play with your pet! Happy to take them on walks, hikes, or even runs! We have a big yard for our pup to roam around in and tend to take her to the dog park at least 3 times a week.

Abby saved Arty’s life while she was sitting. He became very seriously ill the second day I was gone. I was on a boat in glacier bay Alaska and could not be reached for 2 days. I had not left a letter authorizing payment to his vets (my bad) and when she called, they refused. So she had the good sense to show up at their door with him in their arms after calling everyone who I listed as support and trying on her own to revive him. (He is diabetic). He had been in ICU for 2 days by the time I got all her messages. The waters parted and I was able to get home the same day. In the meantime, she visited him in ICU and gave him love and encouragement. It turned out that he had a ruptured gall bladder and they removed it along with cleaning out all the granular black debris from his abdominal cavity. He has almost recovered completely now, only one week later. I know he would not be alive if it wasn’t for Abby. Grateful is an understatement! Abby is all that a pet owner could want to look after their beloved fur baby.

Taryn was a great sitter, who was neat and considerate and who left a very content dog when she left our house. Our return plans were uncertain due to weather in CO but Taryn was more than willing to adjust her schedule to accommadate ours and Buddy's needs. Would definitely call on her again.

Greta was very attentive and helpful when taking care of Kora. We had to take Kora to the pet hospital the night before we left and Greta gave us peace of mind to leave Kora with her and to mange the medication. She was respectful and good communicator. Would hire her again in the future!

Valery is such an amazing person! Our dog takes a while to warm up to people, but him and Valery were best buddies in no time! I was nervous leaving our fur baby while we traveled internationally, but Valery ensured that our pup was well taken care of! We loved receiving daily pictures and videos of our dog and hearing from our neighbors about how loving and sweet Valery was with him! I highly recommend Valery for your pet sitting needs!!!

My husband (Brian ) and I were very pleased with our first experience using Harrah for an overnight pet sitting. She has a very calm demeanor which our dog likes. We’re not your “typical people”, because we have a very high maintenance dog and are very detailed with our expectations. Harrah took notes and listened well with our protocol. When we returned home we could tell right away that Max was happy and content. (Unlike past vacations retuning home finding our dog had anxiety thru the roof 🥺) We also gave her additional responsibility to feed our Koi pond which again she was stellar at. We highly recommend Harrah for pet sitting and have already booked her for three more trips. 🐾🐶

We were so lucky to find Sara for our two-week trip. As first-time Rover users, we were a little nervous, but Sara completely put our minds at ease from the very beginning. They were professional, warm, and clearly wonderful with our two dogs. The best part was their communication—we looked forward to their daily photos and updates! It was so reassuring to see our boys happy and well-cared-for. We came home to a tidy house and two very happy dogs. We fully trusted Sara in our home and with our pets, and we will absolutely be booking them for all our future trips. Highly recommend

About: I have cared for animals since I was a teenager. I’ve never had my own, so I enjoy working with other people's pets. Im a nurse, so im good at caring for humans and this makes me very comfortable providing care to animals as well. I’m also great with giving medications and ensuring your pet is safely cared for. I'm currently working remotely, so I will have plenty of time to care for your cat as much as needed. I know most cats don’t enjoy being walked, but if you have a harness I’d be glad to take your cat along with me! I have typically cared for pets in other's homes to provide them the same familiar environment they're accustomed to. I also can't have pets at my studio. So caring for your cat is a chance for me to have a pet part-time 🙂

About: Breeds I have taken care of: German shepherd Great Dane Golden Doodle Great Dane/Mastiff Hi! I’m Marissa — dog walker, house sitter, and part-time therapist for a German Shepherd named Kai, who has decided I’m his entire personality now. Kai started as a very reactive, chaotic dog at first, but now he’s out here heeling, minding his business around other dogs, and acting like he’s training me. He’s still protective but he’s not as reactive to other animals. So yes, I’m totally comfortable with big breeds, reactive dogs, anxious dogs, and dogs who are a little… dramatic. 🐾 Please note: Bookings that require extended travel or constant care may require a rate adjustment. I’m calm, patient, and I actually pay attention to your pet’s vibe. Whether your furry friend wants zoomies, snuggles, or a silent stare-down from across the room — I can match their energy. If you want someone reliable who will love your pet, hype them up, and send you funny updates, I got you. Also Kai wanted me to tell you he approves this message. I am a part time student so I’m mostly free on weekends. I spend most of my free time either studying, walking Kai, or going to the gym, so I can easily squeeze in some pet care/house sitting. In a client’s home, I focus on keeping your pet’s routine as normal and stress-free as possible. I follow your instructions closely — feeding schedule, walks, potty breaks, medications, and any house rules you have. I give lots of positive reinforcement, calm company, and plenty of play or enrichment depending on what your pet enjoys. I also keep your home tidy, double-check doors and gates, and keep you updated with photos and messages so you always know how your pet is doing.

About: Letty is a Carmel native and proud sixth-generation Californian. She studied business at the University of San Francisco and continued her education in London at the Victoria and Albert Museum and the Courtauld Institute of Art. After living abroad, she returned to the Monterey Peninsula, where she brings her creativity to local projects. With a lifelong love of animals, Letty is happy to care for dogs and other beloved pets - because there’s nothing quite like the bond we share with them. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, decorating, supporting local charities, and spending time with her niece. Pet care easily becomes part of my daily rhythm—I genuinely enjoy it. I build my schedule around walks, feeding, playtime, and companionship, making sure each pet feels comfortable, cared for, and not rushed. I care for pets by sticking closely to their established routines - feeding, walks, playtime, and rest - while giving them lots of attention and companionship. In a client’s home, I also make sure to respect the space, keep things clean, and follow any specific instructions exactly as provided.
