“Yessina and Sophie and their 3 children were the perfect introduction for my 6 month old puppy, Pixie, to experience her 1st dog sitters! They were very kind and gentle with her and her shyness didn’t faze them. Buster my 8 year old terrier who is cautious around strangers, but a real gentleman, picked his spots to lay down and wait patiently and was calm when I arrived. Even though both dogs refused to eat while they were there for the day, I was very happy with the care given by this family. They really listened to me and followed my suggestions! “While visiting Carmel, we needed someone to care for our miniature Australian Shepherd for a day. With no experience leaving Blu with anyone locally, we chose David through Rover. We met David for an introductory visit and he gave us a tour of his excellent facilities, introduced Blu to his own dog and cat, and immediately put us all at ease. When our plans changed at the last minute, he was flexible and accommodating. At drop-off, Blu quickly settled into his surroundings, and the photos David shared showed he was comfortable and had made himself right at home. We could tell she had prepared to watch Bruiser and listened to all of our notes and instructions for him. Bruiser can sometimes be antsy when in a new place or with strangers, but he seemed more at home with Athena than at our hotel! About: Ive been an animal lover since I was little, Ive had all types of animals growing up and absolutely love caring for all pets. My roommates travel often and I take care of their senior dog Riley, he is deaf and blind so he needs a lot of extra TLC. I am local to south salinas, I have my own business and make my own schedule. I have my office 3 mins away from home so have the flexibility. Commutation is the most important thing for me, making sure you have updates about your pet and making sure they feel safe and protected weather it’s on a walk or home sitting.
About: I’ve taken care of different breeds and types of dogs, including catahoula leopard dogs, golden retrievers, labs, yorkies, and hounds, over the past couple of years. The dogs I’ve taken care of range from the ages of 3 months to 13 years. I have also taken care of pups after being neutered, which required extra attention to incision site as well as giving daily medications. I’m currently working full time in San Jose, but am completely available weekends. I also am available early mornings and late evenings. I have in the past worked from home to stay with pups for multiple days in a row. The dogs I have cared for have always been in the client’s home, which have been both indoor and outdoor dogs. About: I have experience pet sitting my sister’s animals and close friends for 1 year, I’m very active so walks are a must! I have two little kittens of my own at home who are playful, but nervous at first. IM AVAILABLE TO WALK DOGS DURING THE WEEK AFTER 5pm On the weekends i’ll go on a run, and walk to try to stay active and relax at home. Potty breaks are as much as needed, love routines and keeping them on track. I have a spacious living room for them to play and run, also there is a back yard for potty breaks as needed.
