About: I work from home, so your pet receives plenty of love, attention, and companionship throughout the day. I specialize in small and medium-sized pets who may not thrive in traditional boarding facilities. I host only one family at a time, creating a calm, personalized, home-away-from-home experience where your pets can feel comfortable, safe, and part of the family. I also offer limited drop-in care for local neighbors with larger dogs, or cat care. Thank you for considering me to care for your pets! I look forward to welcoming them into our home. I am always home, which allows me to provide attentive, personalized care in a calm, stress-free environment. Every dog we welcome is treated like one of our own and becomes part of our family while they’re here. I provide personalized, one-on-one attention in a calm home environment and treat each pet according to their individual routine and needs. I prioritize clear communication with pet parents and provide frequent updates, including photos, so you always know how your pet is doing while they’re in my care.
“Allie had another successful day with Maiden!! She is wonderful with her and Allie has taken to her so well!! She runs to her and tinkles a little, which is her sign that she's excited and happy to see someone! I will be using her as long as she wants to watch her!! Which I hope is a long time! Thanks Maiden for your kindness to our baby!”

“We are new to the area and needed to find a reliable sitter for our 2 year old lab. Tatiana took Maisie on last minute and took great care of our girl. She also made sure to update me with pictures. Maisie came back to us so happy and is now sleeping like a baby. Thank you!!”

“My dog is a fairly new rescue who is still adjusting to new experiences and other dogs. Samantha went to great lengths to ensure that my girl was comfortable while we were away for the day. I also really appreciated her flexibility when we only needed care for a very short time. Her dog Sookie is a total sweetheart and it is very obvious how much Samantha loves the furry babies. Will definitely book with Samantha in the future if needed.”

“Jeff is such a great sitter & has been the only sitter that can take my puppy at very early times when needed. It’s also very clear that my puppy loves him & is being treated very well which is a plus for me & helps me relax knowing he is in good hands.”

About: For three decades I have owned dogs and finished basic and defense training courses. I have raised and trained three generations of my own dogs. My understanding of dog behavior allows me to recognize your pup’s needs. We always have someone in the house to keep a watchful eye on your puppy and to ensure that your pup is happy and well-cared for all day long. Our house includes a fenced yard where puppies can release energy during the day. We provide a range of dog toys to keep your pup occupied and engaged. Numerous dog beds are placed throughout the house, ensuring each pup has a comfortable spot to rest and recharge. During your pup’s staycation, we offer 10–30 minute walks in the morning and evening to keep them active. If your pup enjoys swimming, pool activities and games are available upon request.

“Morgan has been a tremendous help and is always very professional and nice. My dog loves her and she makes sure to send very detailed notes and pics throughout the stay. Very reliable and trustworthy!”

About: I provide loving, personal care for your pet. I love animals of all kinds, and have had them all my life. I love to play and walk dogs, and treat them as if they are my own. I have a safe, fenced large yard and only take dogs on flea and tick control , non aggressive, and up to date on their shots, for the safety of my dog and others I care for. I can take dogs up to 25 pounds. I have been dog sitting for many years and can provide excellent references if needed. I require a meet and greet, to get to know your dog and for your personal assurance that I am the sitter for your needs. I also can accomodate dogs with special needs and other pets. A nightly stay is a 24 hour period, late pickups over an hour will incur a day fee for that day. This is so i can stay on a schedule for other appointments. Hope to meet your furry family member soon!!
“My dog is always well taken care of at Sahar’s home My fog gets excited when we pull up to her home. She is a wonderful choice for your fur baby. Will be using her again”

About: I’ve had pets my entire life. When I turned 18 I adopted my Frodo, a fox hound who lived to be 19. I cared for him through his old age and had to carry him up & down the stairs for the last few years of his life as he had degenerative disk disease. I have foster dogs frequently and I will treat your baby as I would my own. We go regularly to the dog parks to socialize aside from playing in our own back yard. Your pet will be safe, happy and loved while you are away and you will be updated at least once every 4 hours with pictures. I am a teacher so I am free to be home with your pet all day long during the summer and school vacations. Aside from that I am free all weekends and evenings. During our time together your pup will have walks as often as you request, can run free in the yard, will be fed according to your schedule, can swim in the pool, and will be cuddled as much as your pup wants. For cats, I tailor my care to the individual cat based on your requests and your cat’s preferences. I live in a 4 bedroom house with a back yard that is fenced with a pool. Your baby can have the run of my house or can crate if that’s what you normally do. My goal is to keep your pets routine as normal as possible while you are gone so my care will be tailored to your requests. I am a teacher, so I am home all summer, school, vacations, and weekends. I am also home in the evenings. During the normal school year, I am gone for 8 hours out of the day. If the calendar says I am available then that means your pup will be the center of attention during that time. I have a fenced backyard where your pup can roam or a crate if that is what they prefer. They can have the run of my house or a sweet spot on the couch. Keeping your pets normal routine is key.
“Edwin & Jannina were wonderful with our Sadie. They sent us multiple pictures and updates to keep our mind at ease. Sadie thoroughly enjoyed her stay. I would HIGHLY recommend them to anyone!!!”

About: I’ve taken care of cats and dogs ever since I was a kid. I used to walk my neighbors dogs for 50 cents every few days when I was 8, and have 2 cats of my own and now I have a 2 year old Aussie Shepherd named Lacey! Now I have been walking dogs professionally for the last 2 years :) I’m very experienced in the pet department! I am currently unemployed due to schooling so I have plenty of free time as my classes are quite flexible and hybrid! So I have plenty of free time to watch and play with your fur babies! I can easily crate dogs as needed, feed your pups on either a set schedule or free feeding, will walk them every few hours as needed and play them for as long until they’re tired :)
About: I could say that I have a lifetime of experience taking care of pets, it is my passion and my talent is making them love me and feel comfortable with me. ✨Every day from 8 am to 1pm and I am available on weekends with advance notice 🌸 Every dog deserves love, patience, fun, and plenty of belly rubs!🫶🏻 🐾 I love keeping dogs active! Think of doggy day care as your dog’s fun, supervised play date that happens to fit into your workday. Day care through Rover takes place in a real home. This offers a calmer and more personalized environment for your pup.

Here are tips for finding the ideal day care fit for your dog:
- For some small dogs: In-home day care can be the perfect fit. Look for sitters whose "can host" section only lists dogs weighing 0–7 kilograms and/or 7–18 kilograms. During your Meet & Greet, ask about play areas based on dog size and energy level.
- For high-energy dogs: The ideal doggy day care can offer scheduled breaks and outdoor spaces or activities. You can also find sitters who host multiple dogs to satisfy your pup’s socializing needs.
- For dogs who prefer human-only companionship: Use the filters "Doesn't own a dog" and "Only accepts one pet at a time" to find the right care.
Play groups can be an option when you book with a day care sitter through Rover. Many sitters do host a small number of dogs at the same time. Smaller dog packs are generally safer, more fun, and ideal for dogs who enjoy playtime but also want to relax throughout the day. When looking for your dog’s pack, check the sitter’s profile to see if they "Accept multiple clients" or have their own dogs. Then during the Meet & Greet, you can see whether your dog is a good fit for their social circle!
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in FL ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
