“We love and trust her as does our golden. She is reliable and punctual. Lindsay is the equivalent of having either my spouse or myself home- what more could you ask for….”

“Chloe is dedicated to walking my pup who loves her. She braves all weather conditions and schedule changes with a good attitude. My dog Sophie gets the zoomies after every walk.”

About: I have had dogs in my life since i was 11 years old (27 years). Last october i had to say goodbye to my companion of 11 years, Wanda. I am not ready for another dog of my own and want to be around your dogs as much as possible. I believe in reciprocal relational dynamics between humans and dogs are the best approach to training and trust, not dominance and control. I would like to care for your dog by building a relationship with them based on their personality and needs. Would love to meet you and your dog! I am currently a self-employed carpenter and bee keeper. My schedule is very flexible and i can work with you and your dogs schedule and needs. I live in a household with 3 other dogs who are my roommates', so I cannot board at my home, but am more than happy and available for caring for them at yours. I am good with all size and age of dogs.

About: I’ve had dog, cats, reptiles, and fish pretty much all my life. I love meeting, playing, and taking care of animals. I live to see them happy and comfortable. I tend to get along with animals very well! I have multiple animals that I help take care of daily. They are like my siblings and I love them dearly. I am my family’s pet sitter and would like to expand. I much rather keep the animal(s) in their own home to be the most comfortable. I like to build trust with any animal I come to care for like it is my own.

“My dog, Boscoe Butterfly, is a lot. He is 85 pounds and likes to lick people’s faces. Ryan is wonderful with the butterfly. I have had the chance to get to know Ryan as a human being, and that guy is wonderful too.”

“Skyler is fantastic and I have no reservations about recommending her.. She was reliable, communicative, and my dog was so HAPPY -- both in the photos she sent as well as when I arrived home. .”

“Evlin helped me last minute and was very flexible, accommodating, and took great care of my pup. She went out of her way to take good care of her. Usually my pup takes a while to warm up to strangers, but she bonded with her right away! Don't hesitate to book with her!”

About: You are your dog's best friend, I'll be their 2nd best bud. Through out the eight years I've developed real friendships with the pups I've sat for and walked. I'll take your dog out for long walks/runs and play or lazily lay around and cuddle them while your gone. I've cared for toy Yorkies and Italian Mastiffs, I have no preference and love all dogs indiscriminately and I think your dog will feel the same about me. I have a very flexible schedule and am easy to work with. While I haven't had the opportunity to care for a pup with special needs, I certainly am not opposed to doing so and will provide them with the care they deserve. I look forward to meeting your best friend!

About: Growing up, I had two huge retired racing greyhounds, so high prey drives and tug of war are no problem for me. In recent years, I’ve discovered a love for cats and all of their unique personalities. No matter the animal, I can give them the care they need! I work from home for myself. My open schedule means I can dedicate my full attention to the animal in my care as they need it. I provide a safe, comfortable environment whether in your home or mine. I stick to your pet’s routine, offering daily walks, playtime, and plenty of affection.

“Teddy is awesome w/ my pit. I worry that my sitter is is not going to enjoy walking him because he gets really excited but Teddy seems to genuinely bond with him and he sends me the best pictures!”

About: After a tragically pet-free childhood, I've spent the last 20 years seeking out any opportunity to care for animals—from free dog walking for friends and cat-sitting for vacationing pals to hiking with hounds and being a designated vet chauffeur. I love exploring the outdoors with a dog, chucking sticks across empty fields, and praising them for every "good stretch"! I do everything I can to make pet parents feel comfortable and assured when they leave their furry friends in my care—including plenty of photos and updates! I work from home as a writer/editor and a live-edge woodworker, so my schedule is entirely flexible and under my control. I have a fenced-in backyard with ample shade where I often write and work, so outside time is always available for the animals I care for. I love walking the city and wandering through green spaces, especially Audubon Park and City Park, and having a puppy pal to accompany me makes it even more enjoyable. My interior home space is approximately 1,800 square feet, with multiple couches and rooms and sunspots for dogs and/or cats to relax and lounge. The fenced-in backyard is well-secured with a 6-foot fence for stress-free bathroom breaks, and my active lifestyle takes me on at least 2 longer walks each day, typically in the morning and evening. At a client's home, I pride myself on being highly adaptable to new routines and expectations, and my career as an editor makes me very attentive to details, e.g., medication needs, feeding times, sleep schedules, walk durations, etc. Whether you need someone to pop in and play with your pooch for an hour, or leave your animal at my home for a longer trip, you can rest assured they will be cared for, loved and pampered in a safe and comfortable environment.

Clear and timely communication will be granted throughout stay or service I have a fenced acre of land designated to farm animals. Monty G.Star Sitter
“Monty has been my go-to dog walker since 2022. I really appreciate how well they connect with my dog (she is all wags whenever they see each other, and she is not like that with everyone!) and it means a lot to me to be able to send her for a walk with someone I trust when I'm not able to myself. They're approach in relating to dogs really puts me at ease. They are a patient listener when my dog is trying to communicate something, but also balance that well with asserting limits. I think it really helps my dog feel secure with them. They are also reliable, courteous, and consistent in communicating with me, not just my dog. I would recommend them to anyone looking for a responsible, caring dog walker.”

Madelynn L.
“Madelynn was the best sitter for my sweet baby. She created an amazing bond with my german shepherd. She would send me pictures and videos of him playing or snuggling in his bed. Maddie is a very welcoming and comforting person. She treats your babies as if they’re her own! If my baby loves her, yours will too!”

Ryan O.Star Sitter

Marsha W.
“Marsha has cared for my 180 pound Italian mastiff for years. She is a very loving and compassionate dog lover. Marley is always so happy to see Marsha. We often tease Marsha that I think Marley loves her more then my wife and I. We have traveled for a week at a time and have left Marley with Marsha very confident that she will get the very best care available. Before Marsha started taking care of Marley, we would take her to the vet and Marley hated it and never ate. Marsha is amazing with my girl!”

Sophie S.
“Sophie is a great caregiver of animals. I watched her raise a kitten that she rescued into a loving pet. Her cat, Wrecks is well cared for, and has a great life. He always is playful and happy looking, she definitely gave him a great life. I would definitely recommend Sophie as a loving caregiver based on that.”

Teddy J.

“Teddy is awesome w/ my pit. I worry that my sitter is is not going to enjoy walking him because he gets really excited but Teddy seems to genuinely bond with him and he sends me the best pictures!”

Mindy B.

“Mindy did a great job with Chloe while we were touring New Orleans . We would definitely book her again when in the area.”

John S.
“John watched my dog and cat while I was gone for 10 days and I didn't have to worry once about them because I know they were in great hands! He sent photos and updates throughout my trip, brought my social dog to coffee shops and parks, and made sure she got enough exercise and had a good time during each day. I absolutely recommend booking with John. This was the longest time I was away from my dog, and I definitely ended up missing her more than she did me because she had such a fun time with him!”
