About: I have had dogs in my life since i was 11 years old (27 years). Last october i had to say goodbye to my companion of 11 years, Wanda. I am not ready for another dog of my own and want to be around your dogs as much as possible. I believe in reciprocal relational dynamics between humans and dogs are the best approach to training and trust, not dominance and control. I would like to care for your dog by building a relationship with them based on their personality and needs. Would love to meet you and your dog! I am currently a self-employed carpenter and bee keeper. My schedule is very flexible and i can work with you and your dogs schedule and needs. I live in a household with 3 other dogs who are my roommates', so I cannot board at my home, but am more than happy and available for caring for them at yours. I am good with all size and age of dogs.

About: I’ve had dog, cats, reptiles, and fish pretty much all my life. I love meeting, playing, and taking care of animals. I live to see them happy and comfortable. I tend to get along with animals very well! I have multiple animals that I help take care of daily. They are like my siblings and I love them dearly. About: You are your dog's best friend, I'll be their 2nd best bud. Through out the eight years I've developed real friendships with the pups I've sat for and walked. I'll take your dog out for long walks/runs and play or lazily lay around and cuddle them while your gone. I've cared for toy Yorkies and Italian Mastiffs, I have no preference and love all dogs indiscriminately and I think your dog will feel the same about me. I have a very flexible schedule and am easy to work with. While I haven't had the opportunity to care for a pup with special needs, I certainly am not opposed to doing so and will provide them with the care they deserve. About: Growing up, I had two huge retired racing greyhounds, so high prey drives and tug of war are no problem for me. About: After a tragically pet-free childhood, I've spent the last 20 years seeking out any opportunity to care for animals—from free dog walking for friends and cat-sitting for vacationing pals to hiking with hounds and being a designated vet chauffeur. I love exploring the outdoors with a dog, chucking sticks across empty fields, and praising them for every "good stretch"! I do everything I can to make pet parents feel comfortable and assured when they leave their furry friends in my care—including plenty of photos and updates! I work from home as a writer/editor and a live-edge woodworker, so my schedule is entirely flexible and under my control. I have a fenced-in backyard with ample shade where I often write and work, so outside time is always available for the animals I care for. I love walking the city and wandering through green spaces, especially Audubon Park and City Park, and having a puppy pal to accompany me makes it even more enjoyable. My interior home space is approximately 1,800 square feet, with multiple couches and rooms and sunspots for dogs and/or cats to relax and lounge. The fenced-in backyard is well-secured with a 6-foot fence for stress-free bathroom breaks, and my active lifestyle takes me on at least 2 longer walks each day, typically in the morning and evening. At a client's home, I pride myself on being highly adaptable to new routines and expectations, and my career as an editor makes me very attentive to details, e.g., medication needs, feeding times, sleep schedules, walk durations, etc. Whether you need someone to pop in and play with your pooch for an hour, or leave your animal at my home for a longer trip, you can rest assured they will be cared for, loved and pampered in a safe and comfortable environment.

About: I'm retired and love all animals, I have a mini farm and just adore it, a friend of mines told me about Rover and I decided to do it to share my joy with other animals. I'm very skilled in treatment and care of animals and can even read their body language. My schedule is open I'm retired so I have plenty time to give your fur baby all the attention he/she needs. Clear and timely communication will be granted throughout stay or service I have a fenced acre of land designated to farm animals. I can easily separate your pet if he/she is not comfortable with other pets and allow him/her to feel like he/she is the only one here

I am a certified as a pet first aid and cpr instructor that teaches other pet care professionals and pet parents. I am a strong believer for fear free and positive reinforcement handling methods and an advocate for all pets. I currently work full time at a pet care facility and I teach Pet First Aid and CPR quarterly . I am available for afternoon drop in lets out or walks 7 days a week. I have morning and afternoon availability on Sundays and Mondays. I am only available for drop ins after 7 pm. I can also provide transportation for your pet to and from your pups current daycare. I have some weekend overnight house sitting availability, that will be considered on a case by case basis until my availability opens up. A individualized plan of care for handling and visits to the home, will be discussed with each client prior my services starting. I have experience handling dogs, cats, small animal such as hamster, hedgehogs and some exotics such as bearded dragons and birds. I have many safe handling procedures when walking and caring for your pet. I will not use retractable leashes or collars that are prong, choke or shock collars. Please let me know ahead of time if you use these items, I will be happy to bring my own leashes and harness for us to use, ones that I feel provide security and safety for our walks together. Collars with identification must be provided if my visits involve leaving your property. I will be happy to do small things like bringing in packages/mail, water plants etc for no additional charge if requested And I never have a problem with texting a picture during our visits!
