About: Hi, I'm Sam! I was born and raised in Portland, Oregon and have been back and forth from there and the Tahoe area for about three years now. This time around, I moved to Truckee in November and plan to be here long term. I have owned pets my entire life and have much experience with other people's pets as well. At home, I raised my current dog Margo from a puppy, tended to my previous cats and dogs when they got old, and have had experience fostering and then later adopting an aggressive and unpredictable rescue dog. I started walking and pet sitting my neighbor's dogs at the age of 12. I have house/pet sat for cats and dogs of every kind, including old dogs who have accidents in the house and skittish dogs who are afraid of people. I also have experience administering insulin shots to cats. In college, I continued my dog walking and house/pet sitting, and this past summer 2024, I spent almost every day pet/house sitting. Most recently, I adopted a bunny, so I've been caring for her and now have experience with small animals as well. I love animals more than anything in this world and am so excited to meet all the adorable pets in this area. I am currently working at Sugar Bowl Ski Resort, however I do not know what job I will have after this one ends in the spring, so I will keep you posted! I am able to provide any service the pet might need, including medications, baths, any special routines or extra attention, I am able to do and accommodate it all. I can also take your pets on many fun outings, short or long, depending on their needs!

About: I’ve shared my life with dogs for over 25 years and have been pet sitting for nearly as long. I have over 10 years of experience working in veterinary clinics and have ample experience with administering medications of all kinds—your fur baby’s needs are my top priority! Goose and I lead a very active lifestyle—we walk multiple times daily and spend our weekends out enjoying all that Tahoe has to offer. We always welcome adventure buddies and would love it if your pup wants to be our +1 on our next adventure! I currently work from home 3 days a week. For Tahoe Donner residents, I can take your pup for a midday stroll during the work week (M, T, F). For all other Truckee folks I am available in the evenings on the days listed above and any time on the weekends. When I am spending time with your pup their safety and happiness is my number one priority. Unless a group walk is requested, they will receive one-on-one attention and affection. About: Everything will be done to keep your dog safe, healthy, calm, and happy while they are in my care. All visits include the following: lots of walks tracked with strava, photo updates, and extra love. Your best friend will get filtered water from fresh bowls each day, and only give your dog food and treats that you provide. You deserve what you want during your dogs stay. Consider this a vacation for your dog, and that all their needs will be taken care of so you can enjoy your time on your vacation, staycation, or day trip. Skiers and Snowboarders, drop them for the day with confidence in my expertise. Your dog is the foundation of my routine. I love to work, and cherish the opportunity to provide my high level services for your dog so that you can enjoy your time without them. All dogs get extra love in the mornings, and structure during walks. Assuming our dogs get along I’ll let them play. If needed, I’ll keep my guy from being too friendly, and I am prepared to keep dogs separated if they aren’t the best fit to be together. But I also limit how many dogs I take at once, to keep things easy on me.

About: Hi there, I’m Olivia and can’t wait to meet your fur family! My parents had a sweet spot for rescues and adopted dogs from shelters throughout my childhood. I have experience caring for a variety of breeds/sizes, ages, personalities, and levels of health. Over the past 15 years I have also sat for family, friends, and neighbors. I work remotely for a local company so my availability is pretty flexible and will allow me to be with your pup(s) as often as needed. Safety is my top priority. They will be leashed for potty breaks if there isn’t a fenced yard at home and on walks, especially while exploring busy trails and beaches.

About: I have been caring for animals since I was 11 years old; including family, friends, neighbors and referrals. I grew up in a family that always had pets and have lived with others with pets as well. I am very comfortable and knowledgeable of animals of many ages and types. I have assisted with puppy training and working on commands and discipline and also cared for senior dogs who need extra attention and assistance. I am currently attending nursing school ~3-4 days/week and have availability in the evenings, weekends and some days to assist with pet care needs. My schedule is flexible outside of clinical hours and am excited to spend time with your animals and assist with your needs. I am available for short check-ins, walks, overnights, and weekends you are away. My ideal setting for pet care would be at a client's home due to already having one at home. I am open to caring for pets at my home once we have determined that our animals would be comfortable with one another and get along well! My house has a fenced in yard with lots of space for activity and play time for your pets. I have experience with house sitting and dog sitting concurrently whether for a few hours, few days or weeks. I am respectful, clean and responsible and follow instructions and client preferences.

About: I have had dogs all of my life! I volunteered at the humane society as a foster care provider and found homes for many dogs during this time. I worked with a veterinarian for the past ten years and provided care for his dogs. I am very active and can also run with your dog if you have a high energy breed such as a husky. I will care for your dogs as if they were my own and can also groom, massage, administer medications, recommend holistic nutritional changes, and provide any additional services that your furry companion may need. I can bring your pup to obedience classes, vet visits, or grooming appointments! I will also work with dogs that have issues such as socialization issues, manner problems, or anything else we may discuss. I currently work from home, so I am able to watch the furry friends all day. They can have a private space in the home, in the yard, or join the pack. I can customize preferences to include a hike, trail run, short walks, pick-up/drop off at your pets location, light grooming, etc. In my home I have three dogs, and they can be separate or play together if preferred. i have a large fenced yard. There is also a separate studio with a kennel if needed. If visiting a clients home, I will adjust to clients preferences and instructions.
