About: Graduated from UNH class 2014 with a Bachelors in Zoology. Proud to have over 20 years of animal care. 15 years of multi pet ownership . ---Raised and trained 8 dogs from puppy to adult. Spent 6 months volunteering at an animal shelter. Have completed Two separate 10 session dog training courses with a certified dog trainer. Have completed online Instructional courses on E-collar training and behavior modification. Have experience handling dogs with behavioral issues/quirks Have cared for pets of family and friends in addition to my own for over 15 years . My family and I currently have two dogs and a lizard, so pet care is part of our daily routine, 24/7 365. My own dogs are walked daily and stimulated through play and training. When we are home as a family, the dogs are out with us enjoying life. When we are out of the house, they are either crated or secured in a room with fresh water. Safety/Security and respecting the animals are my core values. While the animals in my home are cared for like family, they are taught to respect boundaries and work for affection. In my care, pets are leashed unless they are in a secure, fenced area. I take the time to understand each animal is an individual who has unique needs. I cater my approach to each animal based on their specific demeanor.

We have a small, friendly Labradoodle who loves other dogs and is very used to sharing his space. Because of that, visiting dogs typically adjust quickly and feel right at home here. We’ve cared for many friends’ dogs over the years, including puppies, adult dogs, and seniors. We take breaks throughout the day for playtime, short walks, and attention, depending on each dog’s energy level and routine. In the evenings, we usually incorporate longer walks, playtime, or wind-down time, making sure dogs are settled and comfortable before bedtime. Because dogs are part of our home environment, they’re included in our daily rhythm—not treated as an afterthought. On weekends, we’re generally home and maintain a similar routine, with even more flexibility for walks, outdoor time, and one-on-one attention. Overall, having dogs in our care is something we genuinely enjoy and prioritize, and our schedule allows us to provide consistent, attentive care throughout the day and week. We care for every dog as if they’re our own, with a focus on keeping their routine consistent, their environment safe, and making sure they feel comfortable and loved while you’re away. Before any stay, we take time to understand your dog’s daily routine, feeding schedule, exercise needs, and any quirks or preferences—so we can mirror what they’re used to at home as closely as possible. In our home, dogs get: Plenty of supervision (we both work from home, so they’re rarely alone) Regular potty breaks, walks, and playtime based on their energy level A calm, safe environment with space to relax or socialize Lots of attention and affection throughout the day We’re also comfortable administering basic medications if needed and following any specific care instructions you provide.

“Caitlin cared for our dogs in her home and was great. She and her mom took great care of our 2 Shih Tzu-Bichons for about 2 weeks in June while we traveled to Alaska. She sent pictures of the dogs to assure me they had adjusted well to their home away from home. Caitlin also communicated about feeding the dogs when the dogs got picky about their food (we provided our own food, but our dogs are very finicky). I let her know that was totally normal for our dogs. Caitlin provided crates for the dogs, so we didn’t have to lug ours over to her place. Caitlin was very accommodating with pick up and drop off times. We will definitely use her again!”
