“Taylor and Tyler took amazing care of our dog Darcy! She had a lot of fun, and was in high spirits at pickup time. It was also really nice to get updates and photos from Taylor & Tyler during her stay. We'll definitely be back next time we're visiting the area. Thanks!”

“Our pup always has the best time! It’s so wonderful to know he is so well taken care of when we are gone. I love that Erin is structured with the dogs so they are safe and have fun too. Thank you so much!”

“Alyne always takes great care of our girls (45lbs 3yrs & 22lbs 9mos). We trust her completely and love that our babies get to run around in her fenced in yard, get plenty of snuggles and make other pup-pals!”

“Karen hosted my dog Lulu overnight and was very genial & accommodating as well as an excellent communicator. It was clear that Lulu felt very comfortable with Karen and her sweet dog.”

About: I have loved dogs my whole life. Have had labs and golden retrievers since I was a kid. I currently have a golden retriever named Toby who loves to live life to the fullest. I would love to provide a wonderful home for your dog while you travel. Toby and I go for walks twice a day and play ball on lunch breaks. We live in great neighborhood for walking and have a large fenced in yard. Any dog that likes to run around or just chill will be have a great time at our house. I work from home full time and am devoted to taking care of my dog. Would love another playmate for Toby and another pup to join us for walks. I have a fenced in yard and a golden retriever and a family who loves dogs. Your dog will not want to leave when you return.
“Kirby had a wonderful time staying with Peter's and Riley's family and making a new friend with their Cavapoo, Snoopy. Kirby was right at home with all the attention, playtime, daily walks, and sleeping on a bed with others. The family is warm, welcoming and appears to be loving to pets and more than competent caring for others' 'family members". We have already booked for a future stay this summer.”
“Ann was great! We did a meet and greet ahead of time and communication was great for the overnight. You could tell Philly was comfortable the whole time. Will absolutely book again.”

About: Hello! I’ve been a dog owner my entire life and am excited to learn more about your pup. I have a very friendly golden retriever who will be home during your dog’s stay and will be around all day to play with your dog and can take them out at regular intervals. Look forward to hearing from you! I’m currently working on from home so I have plenty of time to spend with your dog! I’m up usually around 7am and can take the dog out first thing, then usually take the dogs out around 11pm for a last potty break. I’m very clean/organized and will be respectful of your home and belongings should you need me to stop by your home to watch your pup
“April did an amazing job watching Venus and Sasha for a few days! This was our first time using her as a sitter, and we couldn't be happier with the experience. She kept us updated with messages and pictures, which gave us peace of mind while traveling. It was clear the girls were well cared for, happy, and comfortable with her. When they were picked up, they were relaxed and had obviously been given lots of attention and love. We would absolutely trust April to watch them again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a caring, reliable dog sitter!”

“Ruby was wonderful with our dog, Moose. We were able to leave town and not worry about him. She also sent us some great photos and videos of Moose playing with other dogs in her care. I highly recommend her!”

“Daniella was great! She took wonderful care of our dogs Koda and Moxie; was prompt, reliable and sent photos. Easily arranged a meet and greet, and was flexible when our plans changed, which was so appreciated. I will def book Daniella again!”

“Austin was great. This was my first time ever boarding my four-year-old American bully. She does have some anxiety and stress issues. He was Fantastic with her from the start and made it easy for me to start the booking right from the beginning I would definitely recommend him. He kept me updated throughout her stay, which was a full three days and answered any concerns and questions I had along the way. I will definitely book again with Austin.”

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - North Falmouth
Cooper and Maggie enjoyed their time at Jackie and Bills. They made new friends and had lots of playtime. We felt very comfortable leaving our fur babies with them. They had a nice fenced in yard to roam and play. I think they missed all the action at Jackie and Bill’s. We will definitely us them again.
Jacquelyn and Bill were great! I could tell they were knowledgeable right when I met them. And they could see that Barry was timid and would need extra attention and they made sure to provide that care. They have a great back yard and I know Barry played a lot because he slept right when he got home. They updated me and sent pictures throughout the whole stay and genuinely cared for our puppy. Would definitely recommend!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in MA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
