“Patrick and Chris are excellent dog sitters and all around great people. I work early mornings in the hospital before any other daycares open and was worried I would have no place to bring my 4 month old puppy. They willingly took my pup in at 0515 am. She was so excited to see them the next morning. We will absolutely use them again!”

“Heather is absolutely AMAZING! My pup gets so excited when we pull into her neighborhood for a day of doggy daycare. Heather is professional, caring, and such a sweet person overall. I am so happy to have found such a reliable person to take care of my fur baby!”

“Luigi had tons of fun at daycare today, thanks Ashley! Loved seeing all the pictures taken throughout his day and happy to hear he did well on his leash/walks too :)”

“Leslie treated my pup extremely well and took great care of him. I was a little late for the pickup and she was very understanding. Will definitely be using her services again!”

“Robin was amazing with my pup even offering to pick up and drop off. I can tell they had a great time together and I never had any worried during their visit.”

About: Dogs have always been part of my everyday life. I’m not just a sitter; I’m a genuine animal lover who understands how important your pup is to you. Over the years, I’ve cared for everything from playful puppies to sweet senior dogs, giving each the patience, love, and consistency they need to feel safe and happy. My own dog, Dottie, is a gentle, social butterfly who loves making new furry friends. She’s well-traveled, kid-friendly, and has even been a source of comfort for people in my corporate office. If your pup loves companionship, they’ll have a ready-made best friend waiting here. I work 100% from home, which means your pet will never be left feeling lonely. I have the flexibility to give them plenty of attention throughout the day — walks, backyard playtime, cuddle breaks, or quiet time if that’s their speed. Daily care isn’t something I squeeze in; it’s a natural and joyful part of my routine. Your pup’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. My half-acre backyard is fully fenced with a spacious patio and a covered area for shade, perfect for supervised play or lounging. Inside, your dog will be welcomed like family — cozy, cared for, and never crated unless that’s part of their routine. I get to know each dog’s personality and needs so I can mirror their home life as much as possible. I keep things consistent, calm, and full of love. You can expect regular updates, photos, and honest communication every step of the way.
“EMILY IS INCREDIBLE!!! If we could give her 1 million stars, we would. Her place is nice, her dogs are precious, and her heart is huge. Ana was super happy and comfortable and just fit into the pack beautifully. They all treated Ana and us like family. What a blessing!!! Thank you Emily and Austin and Jo and Fancy and Izzy.”

“Morgan is incredible - amazing, kind, patient, trusting and reliable! We just got a new puppy who is not yet trained and she’s so wonderful with him. My husband and I highly recommend and truly appreciate her! Thank you :)”

“Margaret was wonderful with our baby, Lily. We got photos and a good report on the day. Handling over Lily to Margaret felt natural and i could sense her expertise with animals just by handing off the leash. Very happy.”

“Ute was great proving day care for our new puppy. As he was in a new home and trying to adapt to life without his mom and littermates, Ute went the extra mile to attend to his needs as a young puppy. I highly recommend Ute!”

About: Hi! I’m Jake, a lifelong dog lover with professional daycare experience. I grew up with dogs and spent time working at a busy dog daycare and boarding facility in Denver, where I cared for dogs of all breeds, sizes, and personalities. That experience taught me how to read dog behavior, keep play safe, and make sure every dog feels comfortable and cared for. I know how stressful it can feel leaving your pet with someone else, so I take that responsibility seriously. My goal is to make your dog feel relaxed, happy, and loved while you’re away, whether that’s during a walk, a drop-in visit, or longer care. My schedule is very flexible, and communication is important to me. I always keep my phone nearby and I’m happy to send updates and photos so you can see how your pup is doing. Every dog has their own personality and routine, and I make sure to follow what works best for them so they feel right at home. I’d love to meet you and your pup! 🐾 I’m a musician who recently moved to town, so my schedule is very flexible right now. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine, giving me plenty of time for walks, playtime, and attentive care. I structure my days so the pets I’m watching always get consistent attention, exercise, and communication with their owners. I focus on keeping pets comfortable by following their normal routines as closely as possible. I make sure they get plenty of exercise, attention, and supervision, while keeping their environment safe and calm. I’m attentive to each pet’s personality and needs, and I always communicate with owners so they feel confident their pet is living their best life and having a great time!
“Odette was the first sitter I've ever used. I was very nervous at first, but she is amazing! Very communicative, aware of my dogs specific needs, and super nice. I feel very lucky to have found her.”

About: I’m a lifelong animal lover with years of hands-on experience caring for dogs and other pets. I currently live in a home with a fully fenced yard, which provides a safe and secure place for dogs to play and get plenty of exercise. I also have a friendly Black Lab who gets along great with other dogs and enjoys having new friends to run around with. For three years, I volunteered at a veterinary hospital where I helped care for dogs and other animals. That experience gave me valuable hands-on experience working with dogs of different sizes, personalities, and needs, and it helped me develop a strong understanding of responsible and attentive pet care. Over the years, I’ve also house-sat and pet-sat for many friends and families while they were out of town. I take pride in making sure pets feel comfortable, safe, and well cared for while their owners are away. Whether it’s walks, playtime, feeding routines, or simply keeping them company, I treat every pet as if they were my own. In my professional career, I work in Human Resources, where trust, responsibility, and reliability are essential. I understand how important it is to feel confident about who is caring for your pets and home. I’m always happy to provide updates, photos, and regular communication while you’re away—even daily if you’d like—so you always know how your pets are doing. If you’re heading out of town, you can relax knowing your pets will be cared for in a safe, comfortable environment by someone who genuinely loves animals and takes the responsibility seriously I work 9am to 4pm in Nashville but can work remote. I am home in the evenings and can come home for lunch if need be to give extra attention. I have a fenced yard and a safe home. My dog sleeps in my bed and your fur baby to welcome where ever he or she chooses.

Think of doggy day care as your dog’s fun, supervised play date that happens to fit into your workday. Day care through Rover takes place in a real home. This offers a calmer and more personalized environment for your pup.

Here are tips for finding the ideal day care fit for your dog:
- For some small dogs: In-home day care can be the perfect fit. Look for sitters whose "can host" section only lists dogs weighing 0–7 kilograms and/or 7–18 kilograms. During your Meet & Greet, ask about play areas based on dog size and energy level.
- For high-energy dogs: The ideal doggy day care can offer scheduled breaks and outdoor spaces or activities. You can also find sitters who host multiple dogs to satisfy your pup’s socializing needs.
- For dogs who prefer human-only companionship: Use the filters "Doesn't own a dog" and "Only accepts one pet at a time" to find the right care.
Play groups can be an option when you book with a day care sitter through Rover. Many sitters do host a small number of dogs at the same time. Smaller dog packs are generally safer, more fun, and ideal for dogs who enjoy playtime but also want to relax throughout the day. When looking for your dog’s pack, check the sitter’s profile to see if they "Accept multiple clients" or have their own dogs. Then during the Meet & Greet, you can see whether your dog is a good fit for their social circle!
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in TN ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
