About: Craig and I have had a dogs since age ten. As an adults, we have continued to always have a dog (Spike, 7 lb). We also foster for Bonaparte's Retreat, 42 dogs and counting over the past 22 years. We have fostered special needs (blind, deaf, surgery recovery, special medical needs: pill schedule. We only take small/med breeds. Never more than 2-3 dogs at one time. We like them to have plenty of individual care and attention. They have the run of the house. We are retired and home with our pet guests. We have 5 acres for long walks and a large fenced in back yard. We even have a ramp for pups with issues going up/down stairs to the back yard. Staying with us is like going to Gramma's for the weekend. (some even choose share our bed at night, and that is ok) Available 7 days a week, we are retired. Enjoy walks, play time in the secured/fenced yard. We enjoy time on the porch on nice days barking at the squirrels and having treats. Pet sitting in our home. We have a 14 year old boy, 7 lbs, Spike. We have 5 acres for long walks, stairs and a ramp for pets to get to the fenced back yard area. We are retired and home with our pet guests during their stay. They have the run of the house just like they would at your home. Sleeping in pet bed or our bed with us if they prefer.

About: I grew up on a cattle farm. I have loved animals my whole life. I have had a variety of inside and outside dogs growing up. I have a through understand of animal behaviors and body language, especially in dogs. To me dogs are like children, they need to be stimulated with exercise, play, and challenges. I currently work from home and have my own dog that I care for during the day. I have a lot of time during the day and thoroughly play and walk my own dog. I have a fenced in yard in a nice walkable neighborhood in White House. I walk my own dog every morning and have scheduled play times during the day. I also work with my own pup and do continuous training with her commands. Pets are family. Everyone is allowed on the bed and furniture :)

Emily put Sugar’s collar on in addition to her harness in case she somehow got loose, which showed me she was thinking ahead and treating Sugar like one of her own. Before I left, Emily carefully introduced Sugar to the other dogs and made sure everyone got along and that Sugar was comfortable. That gave me tremendous peace of mind. I felt completely comfortable leaving my girl in her care, and it was obvious Sugar was well loved and well cared for while we were away. Detailed information can be found under the "About" section below. 2) House Sitting~ I stay in your home, typically overnight. Detailed information can be found under the "About" section below. 3) Puppy Chauffeur (Newer service, important details right here!) -We're all busy and driving around Nashville SUCKS! Especially my 9 to 5'ers, getting crucial pet errands done can feel impossible. Save your time, gas, and some stress- I'll safely chauffeur your pets to and from their daycare, vet visits, and grooming appointments. - How to Inquire/Book: Please choose the house sitting service when reaching out. Ignore my standard nightly rate, it won't represent the actual cost of transport services! This is honestly the easiest, most straight forward manner to book me for this service with Rover's UI. - Pricing will be based on miles, commute time, and wait time for appointments. The number of animals that need transport will not influence the total price. Commutes during rush hour traffic times may have an additional fee. Rover is my a full time gig at the moment! My schedule is flexible, but I've been filling up lately! I may not be able to accomodate last minute inquiries, so the sooner you reach out, the better! BOARDING Boarding is only available for canine clients! I will not board cats because changing environments is generally too stressful for them. I would like to get more people interested in boarding their pups! It saves me as a sitter a ton of time and gas in comparison to house sitting services, and you get to save money on pet-sitting costs! There are some limitations, so please consider the requirements listed below. Requirements: 1) All dogs must be human and dog-friendly. Dogs with any history of aggression towards animals or humans will be able to board. 2) All dogs must be house trained or crate trained. 3) No dogs with a history of significant destructive behaviors will be suitable for boarding. This includes chewing, breaking, intense scratching, etc. of furniture, walls, doors, etc. 4) All necessary supplies must come with your pup! This includes crates, special toys, food, leashes, food bowls, medications, etc. This is so your dog is the most comfortable they can be during their stay! 5) Super athletic breeds may not be suitable for boarding and will be considered on a case by case basis. 6) Owners must be comfortable with the possibility of other clients boarding with me at the same time! It doesn’t happen often, but it is a possibility. 7) Meet and greets are required! This is so you and your animal can get to know me, my dog, and my home. What can you expect from me while boarding your pup? 1) I live in a 2500 sq ft. house with a large fenced in backyard. Multiple rooms are available if pups need their own space or time to relax. 2) There will always be a supervisor in the house! 95% of the time it will be me, but my husband is also there to make sure everyone is happy and healthy. 3) I allow a max of 3 dogs to be boarded with me at any given time. If I have multiple people boarding their pets at one time, I will communicate that to all parties so we’re all on the same page. 4) All dogs will be fed in separate spaces to avoid resource guarding. 5) Frequent updates and open communication! I send updates with photos 2-3 times a day. 6) For an added cost, I can pick up and drop off all pups! HOUSE SITTING What can you expect of me while house sitting? 1) Great care of your pets! They’ll be in their own environment where it’s easiest to maintain  individual routines and assure their comfort! 2) Great care of your home! I recognize the trust needed to allow me to stay in your home. I respect clients’ homes like I do my own; I clean up after myself religiously, honor house rules, and keep my presence there professional. 3) Safety for everyone- I keep clients' pets away from other dogs and strangers when out in public spaces, regardless of temperament. This is to keep your pup, the public, and myself safe at all times. 4) I will be at your home for the vast majority of the day, but I may have to leave the house from time to time. I will communicate when I am there and when I am out of the house. I can accommodate 24/7 care for dogs who cannot be left alone at all due to anxiety or health reasons at a higher nightly rate. 5) No other pet or person will be in your home without express permission. I take this seriously and I typically only ask about this for stays longer than 7 days. 6) Frequent updates and open communication! I send updates with photos 2-3 times a day. 7) A cleaner home than you left! I always provide clients with a general tidy at the end of every house sit.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I was a little girl. I love small, medium, and large dogs and cats! I used to own an American bully but unfortunately his owner wanted him back. I enjoy playing, watching, dressing up, and walking all pets! I currently work full time Sun-Wed but I am home most of the time. I have a 3 day weekend, Thursday-at so I’m definitely home and bored lol. I love being around pets! I own a townhome with a garage. My backyard is fenced behind an interstate. I also have an extra bedroom and lots of living space room for the pet to run around!

About: I've been caretaker to Augie, a mixed lab, since he was eight months old. He's now a senior, so my experience runs the gamut age-wise. Augie is very social and I have therefore had a lot of experience socializing with dogs of all sizes, ages, and temperments. I work from home and my schedule is very flexible. I take many walks during the day, and would love to walk with your furry friend. For overnights, I would simply need a good Wifi connection. Guest dogs must be able to coexist safely with both dogs and cats. Introductions are gradual and closely supervised. I follow all instructions regarding feeding, medications, crating, leashing, sleeping arrangements, and household boundaries. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I respect both their routine and their space. I double-check doors, gates, leashes, and care instructions and provide updates throughout the visit. I’m especially mindful of heat sensitivity, breathing limitations, and mobility needs in flat-faced, senior, and special-needs dogs.
