About: Craig and I have had a dogs since age ten. As an adults, we have continued to always have a dog (Spike, 7 lb). We also foster for Bonaparte's Retreat, 42 dogs and counting over the past 22 years. We have fostered special needs (blind, deaf, surgery recovery, special medical needs: pill schedule. We only take small/med breeds. Never more than 2-3 dogs at one time. We like them to have plenty of individual care and attention. They have the run of the house. We are retired and home with our pet guests. We have 5 acres for long walks and a large fenced in back yard. We even have a ramp for pups with issues going up/down stairs to the back yard. Staying with us is like going to Gramma's for the weekend. (some even choose share our bed at night, and that is ok) Available 7 days a week, we are retired. Enjoy walks, play time in the secured/fenced yard. We enjoy time on the porch on nice days barking at the squirrels and having treats. Pet sitting in our home. We have a 14 year old boy, 7 lbs, Spike. We have 5 acres for long walks, stairs and a ramp for pets to get to the fenced back yard area. We are retired and home with our pet guests during their stay. They have the run of the house just like they would at your home. Sleeping in pet bed or our bed with us if they prefer.
About: I grew up on a cattle farm. I have loved animals my whole life. I have had a variety of inside and outside dogs growing up. I have a through understand of animal behaviors and body language, especially in dogs. To me dogs are like children, they need to be stimulated with exercise, play, and challenges. I currently work from home and have my own dog that I care for during the day. I have a lot of time during the day and thoroughly play and walk my own dog. I have a fenced in yard in a nice walkable neighborhood in White House. I walk my own dog every morning and have scheduled play times during the day. My husband and I love all animals, in fact we recently volunteered overseas where we helped care for and rehabilitate wildlife in Australia. Cash is our younger dog, he is 7 and loves to play with any dog or human he meets. Buster is a bit older but also very friendly, he loves to go for walks, go to the dog park, and lay in the sun! Buster has hip problems and has had multiple surgeries. With this being said I have a lot of experience with administering medications to a dog or taking care of them post surgery should your dog need my assistance. About: Hi all! I've been taking care of animals for as long as I can remember, but I officially started fostering 5 years ago! I have plenty of experience with senior pets, puppies/kittens, and disabled pets as well. I also have experience working in a vet clinic so I’m very comfortable administering oral medications and have experience handling reactive dogs and spicy kitties! I have 2 furry friends of my own that mean the absolute world to me. Neptune is a 3 years old Lab/basset hound mix I adopted in 2023 and Angel is my sweet kitty girl that has grown with me since 2017. I'm available 7 days a week now for any drop-ins, walks, and/or sitting as needed! I currently do not work as I am going back to school (online) full-time, so I have plenty of time for all the furry friends! While I don't have a fenced in yard, I do live in a very pet friendly and walkable neighborhood and will always ensure pets leashes are secure before all walks/outside time. I have a 3 year old lab retriever mix who is very friendly with all animals and an indoor only cat who keeps to herself, unless she wants cuddles of course! I have experience in puppy training, specifically with crate training and leash walking, from fostering pups in the past.
