Lucy had recently undergone surgery, so she required extra attention while wearing a cone and taking medication. Christin handled everything with great care and compassion, and I could tell Lucy was in excellent hands. About: Craig and I have had a dogs since age ten. As an adults, we have continued to always have a dog (Spike, 7 lb). We also foster for Bonaparte's Retreat, 42 dogs and counting over the past 22 years. We have fostered special needs (blind, deaf, surgery recovery, special medical needs: pill schedule. We only take small/med breeds. Never more than 2-3 dogs at one time. We like them to have plenty of individual care and attention. They have the run of the house. We are retired and home with our pet guests. We have 5 acres for long walks and a large fenced in back yard. We even have a ramp for pups with issues going up/down stairs to the back yard. Staying with us is like going to Gramma's for the weekend. (some even choose share our bed at night, and that is ok) Available 7 days a week, we are retired. Enjoy walks, play time in the secured/fenced yard. We enjoy time on the porch on nice days barking at the squirrels and having treats. Pet sitting in our home. We have a 14 year old boy, 7 lbs, Spike. We have 5 acres for long walks, stairs and a ramp for pets to get to the fenced back yard area. We are retired and home with our pet guests during their stay. They have the run of the house just like they would at your home. Sleeping in pet bed or our bed with us if they prefer.

About: Hi all! I've been taking care of animals for as long as I can remember, but I officially started fostering 5 years ago! I have plenty of experience with senior pets, puppies/kittens, and disabled pets as well. I also have experience working in a vet clinic so I’m very comfortable administering oral medications and have experience handling reactive dogs and spicy kitties! I have a 3 year old lab retriever mix who is very friendly with all animals and an indoor only cat who keeps to herself, unless she wants cuddles of course!
