About: As a Frenchie father, I know how important it is to have someone trustworthy caring for your pets. I have experience with dogs of all ages, shapes, and sizes, and I will treat yours with the same care and attention that I give my own. I work remotely and can be home on any day of the week. I can also be up as early as 5:30am and as late as 11pm to drop in. I do have a backyard! But since it’s unfenced, I take my dog out on a leash and walk around the neighborhood 2-3 times a day. I’ve also had experience caring for puppies and senior dogs with special needs.

“Amanda has been such an amazing friend to Cosmo. We moved to 4th ward last week and the change was stressful on the little guy. Amanda immediately established a rapport with him and they have great walks together. She is also very punctual and communicates well.”

“This was our first Rover walk for Coug. He can be nervous with new people, and Rachel was patient, kind, and understanding of his personality. She communicated well and made me feel comfortable knowing he was being cared for. I would happily book with Rachel again.”

About: I’ve taken care of my neighbors and friends’ dogs ever since I was a kid. Now surrounded by the lovely dog-friendly city of Charlotte, without a dog of my own, I wanted to offer my services and love for pets through Rover. I’ve watched very old dogs to my friend’s 2 year old Malinois/Shepard mix. I’m currently a remote worker with a very flexible schedule. I like to go for daily ‘brain break’ walks as I refer to them and would love to start walking dogs during so. There’s multiple trails, city and forest covered, around my apartment complex and a local dog park available if interested. I have a balcony as well that’s good for people and bird watching.
“Nicole takes Olive on the best walks and takes care of our pup Olive! She’s very communicative and keeps us well informed. Olive always comes back happy and well exercised. Highly recommend!”

About: Passionate pet care professional, carrying years of experience taking care of the needs of animals, especially dogs. I've had a Chinese Crested Powder Puff (aged 15), a Chipoo Chinese Crested mix (aged 17), and multiple Jack Russell/Chihuahua/Shih Tzu mixes. I have some experience looking after cats as well! I am able to take care of pretty much all their essential needs. I can also provide playtime for pets under my supervision. I ensure that they are in a safe space and away from any hazards. I'm good at providing updates, with pictures included, so you know that your pet is doing well while you are away! I have a somewhat flexible schedule. I'm not too busy during the week, so my availability to provide care for pets have been pretty good. I'm very attentive when it comes to pets. You can rest assured that your furry friend will have a safe environment to running around and play in. Multiple pets that engage in playtime with each other will be supervised while under my care to mitigate any aggression that may come up during this activity.
About: I've been caring for animals for as long as I can remember. I grew up with dogs, have been pet sitting for family and friends since I was young, and animals have always been a huge part of my life. In August 2025, my three-legged Dachshund became paralyzed after a spinal cord injury. He never regained feeling in his back legs, and for nearly 10 months I provided around the clock care to give him the best quality of life possible. I performed daily physical therapy, manually expressed his bladder and bowels, helped him eat, transported him to rehabilitation and acupuncture appointments, and adapted our home and routines to support his mobility. Although he had only one functioning leg, he continued to live a happy, love filled life until we had to say goodbye. That experience gave me extensive hands on experience caring for a disabled companion and deepened my love and understanding of animals. I have a special place in my heart for senior, disabled, and special needs furry friends, and I'm comfortable providing extra patience, medications, mobility assistance, and individualized care when needed. Since losing my dog, I have found myself with extra time and would love to spend it caring for other people's furry family members. I am self employed and work from home, which gives me a very flexible schedule and allows me to spend plenty of time with the animals in my care. I'm also very active and love going on walks, playing outside, or simply spending time cuddling on the couch, whatever makes your furry friend happiest. My goal is to make every companion feel safe, loved, and cared for while you're away. Because I'm self employed and work entirely from home, I have a very flexible schedule and spend most of my day at home. This allows me to provide plenty of attention, companionship, potty breaks, and playtime instead of leaving your furry friend alone for long periods. I live in a quiet, pet friendly neighborhood with a large, fully fenced backyard where dogs can safely run, sniff, and explore. Whether your companion loves to stay active or simply relax with someone nearby, I can provide a calm, comfortable environment where they'll feel right at home. Creating a safe, comfortable environment is my top priority. My home is located in a quiet neighborhood and features a large, fully fenced backyard with a 10-foot privacy fence, giving dogs plenty of room to safely explore, sniff, play, and relax. The yard also has plenty of shade, making it a comfortable place to spend time outdoors even on warmer days. Inside, I have pet gates to help manage spaces safely, along with toys, cozy beds, and designated areas for rest and relaxation. I understand that every animal has a different personality and comfort level, so I also provide private spaces where a furry friend can decompress and have some quiet time if they are feeling nervous, overwhelmed, or simply prefer their own space. My goal is to create a calm, low-stress environment where every companion feels safe, secure, and cared for throughout their stay.
About: 11 years caring for my Labrador, including training, grooming, feeding, and daily care. Patient, attentive, and skilled at building trust with pets of all ages. My schedule is pretty flexible, and I work around the pets in my care. I currently offer boarding, daycare, drop-in visits, and walks throughout the week. I’m happy to accommodate earlier or later times whenever possible—just ask! 😊 I live with my husband in a pet-friendly apartment in NoDa with an elevator, so there are no stairs to worry about. We currently don’t have any resident pets, creating a calm environment that works especially well for senior dogs, anxious pets, and pets who prefer having the space to themselves. I’ve had animals my entire life. I raised and trained my own Labrador Retriever from the time she was 47 days old, and she was my best friend for 11 wonderful years. I also recently cared for both my senior Labrador and my senior cat through their health challenges, so I’m comfortable following routines, administering medications, and adapting to each pet’s individual needs. I enjoy grooming and helping puppies learn good habits through patience, consistency, and positive reinforcement. My goal is to make every pet feel safe, understood, and right at home. To provide personalized care, I keep my bookings small. Occasionally, there may be one other friendly guest staying at the same time, depending on compatibility and everyone’s comfort level. If your pet does best as the only pet, please let me know, and I’ll do my best to accommodate their needs.

About: I’ve always loved animals and taking care of them is something I love. I took some vet classes in high school that helped me learn the basics! Such as their body behavior, basic handling, and how to administer medication. I also gained some experience with grooming and caring for senior dogs, as I understand older pets need extra patience and attention. I’ve trained my own dog to perform many tricks and sleep on his own, so if you have a puppy I’d be more than happy to show them some basic tricks and commands during our time together. While training takes time I’m always happy to help them learn more and build good habits. I’m currently available to do walks or pet visits in the evening where I can then on a walk or even go to the park and play. I’m a full time student and worker as well so for right now the only days I’m available are Friday and Sundays for boarding, pet sitting, and home visits and need at least a 2 day notice please! I live in an apartment where there is a little doggy park and it’s a very dog friendly environment. Inside my apartment they are able to be on the furniture and be with me at all times. I will be taking them out every 1-2 hours or if you need me to do it more often I would be more than happy to. While they are with me if you have any extra requests to have them be on the bed or keep them in their crate I will be happy to follow that.
“Kelly did a great job! She was able to arrange a last-minute meet and greet as I was traveling unexpectedly during New Years and did an excellent job with my two large dogs and 4 cats. She followed all of their care instructions and all of my pets were happy and well cared for when I returned. I am already scheduling my next booking with her, highly recommended!”

“Enzo was able to come last minute and walk Presley! We’re all recovering from being sick and really appreciate Enzo giving our girl some TLC since we aren’t able to! Thanks Enzo! ?”

“Kelsey was wonderful with our dogs! I can’t wait to work with her again. Our dogs loved her. She was very communicative and responded quickly to messages. Great experience!”

“Jack was fantastic with our dogs. Very kind and communicative. Our dogs loved him and we trusted him completely with him. Can’t wait to work with him again!”

“Elizabeth was my first Rover experience and it has been great so far! She responds back quickly, she did a meet and greet with my dog prior to scheduling the first walk, was punctual, and also timed it well so my dog had a little play time with her after his walk. The cute pictures of my dog during the time were also a nice surprise and appreciated! Due to my work schedule, I’ll probably be scheduling with her monthly from here on out.”

“Peyton is great. I was very fortunate to come across him when I was visiting Charlotte for two weeks. He came to my hotel and walk my dog every day while I was at work. He was always on time and left me messages every day. I would definitely recommend him. He provided a perfect no stress service. Thank you, Peyton. Pluto will miss you.”

About: I am so excited to help out with your fur babies! I grew up on a farm and both of my parents are veterinarians so our pets were always the most important part of our day! I have experience taking care of small, medium, and large (and extra large) dog breeds. I currently have my own 4 year old golden retriever and a 6 year old kitty. They are family to me! I currently have plenty of availability on the days reflected in my calendar during mornings, day time, and evenings. I look forward to caring for your pets. I will mainly be available for drop-ins and dog walks. I have a dog and a cat at home so I will not be housing any pets in my home. I am very clean, respectful and honest!

Enzo was so easy to work with. He was always on time to walk our Louie, providing pictures and notifications of every little adventure. And when needed, he was very flexible with any change. Louie looked forward to his walks every day with Enzo. He is a star sitter for sure and we look forward to booking with him in the future!!

We had a wonderful experience with Kaitlyn. She took great care of our dog and gave us complete peace of mind while we were away. Communication was excellent, with regular updates and photos, and it was clear our dog was happy, comfortable, and well cared for. Also she helped me very last minute which was incredible!

Emily was incredible. Extremely communicative and responsive, paid attention to the weather and adjusted walk times to take our dog out before an incoming storm or to beat an especially hot day. She also took awesome pictures of our animals and sent them with every update. I could not be more pleased with her services and will be looking forward to hiring her again. 10/10, no notes.

This was our first Rover walk for Coug. He can be nervous with new people, and Rachel was patient, kind, and understanding of his personality. She communicated well and made me feel comfortable knowing he was being cared for. I would happily book with Rachel again.

Kaitlyn has been absolutely wonderful with Marcel. She is reliable, communicative, professional, and clearly genuinely cares about the animals she works with. From the start, she made me feel completely comfortable and confident leaving Marcel in her care. She provided me with updates, photos, and detailed check-ins, which gives me so much peace of mind. Marcel was excited to see her and came back happy, well cared for, and exercised. Kaitlyn is also very attentive to routines, instructions, and little details, which really shows how dedicated she is. It’s not easy finding someone you fully trust with your pet, but Kaitlyn has exceeded expectations in every way. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a dependable, caring, and professional dog walker or sitter. She truly goes above and beyond, and I’m so grateful to have found her!
