About: Hi! I’ve been surrounded by dogs my whole life and caring for them has always been a huge part of who I am. I grew up with dogs, currently have my own sweet 7-year-old pup, and actively work with multiple dog rescues where I help foster dogs in need. We have a large fenced-in backyard for plenty of safe playtime, there’s always someone here to give your dog attention, supervision, and lots of love while you’re away. I have 7+ years of pet sitting experience for NC State Vet Students and Faculty and currently work for a dog boarding and daycare facility in the Noda area. I’m currently working Monday - Friday between 7am-11am (break) 2:30-7pm. On Saturday/Sunday the hours move around alittle but I remain to have a 3-4 hour mid day break for the opportunity to have midday checkups/care. My usual Check-in times when pet sitting have been 10-30 minutes before 6:30-7, 20-40 minutes between 11:30-2, and 20-30 minutes after 7:30. Depending on age, temper and health of the dog the visits can be rearranged for later or earlier visits if needed. With the circumstances of my apartment complex, I do in-house visit of my client instead of having the dog at my home. When arriving at my clients home, I like to first take the dog outside and make sure they use the bathroom. I will update the owner immediately if I see any issues with the pets stool (ie. Blood, Diarrhea, etc). After I like to feed depending on instructed time, or if no meal/ walk the dog around the owners yard or complex if possible. Before leaving I always make sure there is plenty of water and that at least one happy photo. Willing to administer medications in pill form. Also, will always follow clients instructions to a avoid any confusion or accidents.

He even slept with the kids most nights. 🥹 He was also all tired out and crashed after we got home and gave him a lot of welcome home loving cuddles! He's curled up on the couch now sleeping soundly! Couldn't be happier! No more kennels and concrete floors where he spends the day staring at the walls. I don't care they're 45 minutes away from us, I will happily make the drive to leave my pupper with Kayla and her family every time!”

She went above and beyond by taking Ollie on hikes, long walks, and abiding by all his little quirks. I could tell Ollie had a blast and loved playing with her sweet dog, Kru. The day I was supposed to pick Ollie up, my flight was delayed til super late, and Erika was extremely responsive and cooperative working with me to find the best way to handle the pickup.
