Safety, trust & environment
With the circumstances of my apartment complex, I do in-house visit of my client instead of having the dog at my home. When arriving at my clients home, I like to first take the dog outside and make sure they use the bathroom. I will update the owner immediately if I see any issues with the pets stool (ie. Blood, Diarrhea, etc). After I like to feed depending on instructed time, or if no meal/ walk the dog around the owners yard or complex if possible. Before leaving I always make sure there is plenty of water and that at least one happy photo. Willing to administer medications in pill form. Also, will always follow clients instructions to a avoid any confusion or accidents.
Information Joseph C. would like to know about your pet
I like to know temperament of the pet as well as their big no’s that could set them off. If there is any need of diaper for pets that have a weak stomach/bladder.
A typical day
I like to get movement with pet as it gets them more likely to use the restroom. If I’m staying with a pet for a longer period of time I like to occasionally walk them around or take them outside to have a change of pace (pet parents discretion of course!) I like to jump around with the pets so that I can get a fun photo of them being silly or if a pet is sleeping ill quietly take some nap photos too!

Caring for Pets since Day One!
Pet care experience
Hi my name is Joseph! I grew up in a veterinary hospital being surrounded by all breeds and sizes of cats and dogs. I have 7+ years of pet sitting experience for NC State Vet Students and Faculty and currently work for a dog boarding and daycare facility in the Noda area. My background has given me hands-on experience with feeding, exercise, enrichment, and providing attentive compassionate care for every pet.
Reviews
Joe has helped care for our dogs, guinea pigs and chickens on many occasions over the last 5 years. He has cared for some of our pets that have complex medical needs as well. He takes great care of the animals and our home, is very communicative and I know he genuinely connects with them, too. As a veterinarian myself, I’m particular about the care of my pets and I trust Joe for the job!
Joseph cared for my dog, Bronson, and provided exceptional care throughout the entire experience. He was reliable, responsible, and consistently kept me updated with thoughtful check-ins and photos, which gave me great peace of mind while I was away. It was clear that he genuinely cared about Bronson's well-being and treated him with kindness and attention. I highly recommend him.
Joseph did an excellent job watching William while I was away. He was reliable, communicative, and clearly cared about William's well-being. I received regular updates and photos, which gave me peace of mind throughout the stay. William came home happy, relaxed, and well cared for. I would definitely trust Joseph to watch him again and highly recommend him to anyone looking for a dependable and attentive pet sitter.
Joe has always done a great job watching my dog. He's a fantastic dog sitter and provided excellent care, regular updates, and plenty of love and attention. My dog was happy, comfortable, and well cared for.
