About: I have taken care of dogs since I was at a young age. Neighbors, friends, and family trust me with their furry best friends to make sure they stay happy while their human is away. I will always take the time to give your pet attention and love even if you opt to book me for a quick trip to let the dog(s) out! If my personal life would allow it, I'd have dogs of my own but for now I am eager to take care of your loved one(s). I WFH and will have plenty of time to play with your pups! I’m available for boarding on weekends and weekdays. Whether it’s boarding at mine or dropping in a couple times of day at yours - I will be sure your pet gets the attention they deserve! I have a large fenced in yard and no pets at my home. I am okay with dogs being allowed on furniture and happy to crate them if that is something they are used to. I live in a central area and 1 block from the Sugar Creek Greenway - the perfect dog walk location! There is plenty of greenery in the fenced back yard for dogs to run free too.
About: I’ve been caring for dogs my entire life and they are the center of my world. Over a decade ago, I began walking and sitting dogs for friends and family. This led to working at a boarding kennel and walking dogs through Barkly (another sitting service) while I was in college. In recent years, I’ve been frequently caring for my friends and neighbors pets while they are away. Previous clients have expressed that they are appreciative of how I treat and love on their pets like they are my own. That includes many pictures and videos for you while you’re away. One time, I even crocheted a sweater for the pup during their stay! Spending time with and caring for dogs is a special kind of therapy that I can’t get enough of. I am currently available to watch animals full time, both on weekdays or weekends (depending on the service). That means plenty of walks and full attention to your pet’s care. I live in a secure apartment that has plenty of room for your dog to play and feel right at home. It is always kept tidy and safe for furry friends. There is a secure balcony and big windows for people watching. Dogs are welcome on furniture and the bed. If you prefer to provide a crate, that works too!

“Thank you, Mary for everything. I appreciate it. Yeah she could just leave those collars on. Makes things a little bit easier and it’s all right that she didn’t eat. She’ll just eat when I get home. I appreciate everything you’ve done. I’m happy that she was excited at first and eventually calm down and yes, there was a situation with skateboards the last time I took her down to the end of Philemon towards 36th St. and it scared the crap out of her so now I have to work on inch and her down there again so I am I know what you’re talking about. Yeah she’ll get to a certain point and wanna come home and that’s fine. That’s fine when when she’s with you again I appreciate it and thank you so much and now you didn’t need to put the water in especially if like you said she drank a sufficient amount so I will see you while she will see you tomorrow lol thank you so much.”

About: I’ve taken care of animals since I was around 7 years old. I’ve owned cats, dogs, hamsters a rabbit and a snake! I’ve always had a strong passion for animals which eventually led me to becoming vegan almost 7 years ago! I’ve pet sit and gone on walks for family and friends over the years. I can’t wait to meet your fur baby! This is my full time job and I’m currently trying to build up clientele so if you don’t see a time available that you need, please reach out so we can work something out. I am not able to board at my home due to my own animals but I am able to provide overnight services at your home.
“Enzo was amazing with my dogs. Even my very shy dog loved him. He is kind, respectful, and easy to communicate with. Enzo is a true dog whisperer. I highly recommend him and will request his services again when needed.”

“Elizabeth was my first Rover experience and it has been great so far! She responds back quickly, she did a meet and greet with my dog prior to scheduling the first walk, was punctual, and also timed it well so my dog had a little play time with her after his walk. The cute pictures of my dog during the time were also a nice surprise and appreciated! Due to my work schedule, I’ll probably be scheduling with her monthly from here on out.”

“Keegan is great! She really cares about the dogs and their personalities. She notices the details about their behavior and knows how best to engage with them. Both times she spent the full 30 or 60 minutes with my dogs. She sent lots of pictures and notes about how things went. Best experience with rover so far.”

“Hannah is the best! She goes above and beyond with taking care of our pup and always gets a great walk in. Always on time and great with communication - thanks Hannah!”

About: I’ve been taking care of both cats and dogs since I was 10! I’ve had both cats and dogs throughout their lifetime but unfortunately a pet of my own is not conducive to my current lifestyle, which is why I came to Rover to hang out with your amazing pets! I am extremely reliable for walking, feeding, exercising, or anything else your furry friend may need! I am new to the Charlotte area and hoping to get a dog of my own in the future. I currently have a lot of free time and would love to explore the city with a furry friend! I am willing to care for pets in their everyday home and fulfill housekeeping/other needs that may be necessary. I am also extremely experienced with houseplants and available to care for plants while pet sitting in-home.
About: I have been pet owners for years & there’s nothing I love more than spending time with animals. I love to take walks to the dog park & have a good game of fetch. I also take pictures of pets that I taken care of before so let me know if that’s something you would like. I currently work from home so I spend all day with my pets. My job lets me be able to still take my dog on multiple walks a day, have play time, go to the park & more. The play area is fenced in, I can easily crate your dog if needed. In my home I can provide everything your pet needs like if it was their own home and vice versa.
“Leah took great care of my pup & was very communicative throughout the week. She sent lots of pics & details about their day. I’ll definitely use her again!”

“Kelly did a great job! She was able to arrange a last-minute meet and greet as I was traveling unexpectedly during New Years and did an excellent job with my two large dogs and 4 cats. She followed all of their care instructions and all of my pets were happy and well cared for when I returned. I am already scheduling my next booking with her, highly recommended!”

About: Hi! I’m Auzrey, a pet-loving remote worker with a flexible schedule and an active lifestyle. I go on daily walks, in addition to 1–2 runs a week, so I would love having your precious pets join me for some exercise and fresh air. I live alone and have no pets of my own, so your pet isn’t competing for care or space. I’m patient, reliable, and happy to adjust to your pet’s routine, whether they’re high-energy and love to play or need extra care due to age or anxiety. While I’m not a professional trainer, I’m confident with both puppies and older dogs, and I always prioritize clear communication and consistent care. Pet care fits naturally into my routine :) Working fully remote allows me to be able to take regular breaks for walks, potty breaks, and playtime. I already go on regular walks and runs, so I would love to have a four-legged companion join me. Whether it’s sticking to a routine or burning off energy, I’m happy to tailor the day to your pet’s needs. Your pet’s safety and comfort are always my top priority. I live in a quiet, pet-friendly apartment with a small on-site dog park that's great for potty breaks and quick outdoor time throughout the day. Because I work from home full-time, I’m able to keep a close eye on your pet and quickly respond to their needs, whether that means a walk, water refill, or just some attention. In your home or mine, I can stick to your pet’s routines and keep their environment calm, clean, and secure. I never take on more than I can handle, and I will also keep you updated with messages and photos, so you can feel confident they’re in good hands.
“Mary was excellent in letting my GSD Bane out for walks during the day while I was at work. She was very attentive to him and great with updates during her visits. I’d be so glad to use her again in the future!!”

About: Hi! I’m an experienced dog lover with 15+ years caring for dogs of all breeds and personalities. Whether your pup needs a long walk or a cozy night in, I’ll make sure they feel safe, happy, and loved. I’m skilled with leash training, high-energy dogs, and reinforcing basic commands. I treat every dog like my own—with patience, attention, and lots of care. Please note: For house sitting, my own dog, Sadie, will be joining me. 🐶 Meet Sadie! Sadie is my friendly, resilient Labrador Retriever. She’s had two CCL surgeries but is still energetic and loves walks, tennis balls, and meeting other dogs. She enjoys gentle play and has a sweet, calm nature. I have flexible availability for daily walks, overnight stays, and last-minute needs. Your dog’s well-being is always my top priority, and I’ll keep you updated with photos and messages so you know they’re in great hands. I’d love to meet you and your pup. Please reach out with any questions! 🐾 I work from home so my schedule is fairly flexible. I’m able to take my dog out for relief or walks often so I wouldn’t mind helping out others in the neighborhood. I have the friendliest black lab that can play with your pup if needed or wanted. I know the neighborhood very well so walks are my go to! I also have a nice sized bark park in my apartment community that we can utilize.
About: My name is Shannon and I have a cat that I have had since she was a kitten and a large male dog I rescued from a shelter when he was one. I'm great with cats and dogs! I can watch your pets in the comfort of their own home. Will take your dog for walks, make sure they get some play time in, food, water and treats. Love animals and hope you give me the chance to watch your fur babies! Due to a permanent neck injury I cannot walk dogs that weigh more than 20 pounds or handle larger dogs that jump a lot. Definitely need to watch smaller dogs or well behaved large dogs that have a fence to be let out into. I'm pretty flexible so just let me know what you need and we can definitely work something out that will work for both of us! I will make sure to follow any instructions you leave for me and give your pet the love and attention that they deserve. 🙂 🐈⬛🐶 I've also watched bunnies, lizards, squirrels and raccoons. I've got a little experience with administering IV fluids to a senior cat and continuing to get more experience with that. Pet sitting is my full time gig so I am pretty flexible with whatever you may need for your pet. Just let me know what you need! If you have a fenced in yard I will make sure to keep an eye on your pet to make sure nothing happens to them while they are outside.
Plaza Hills dog parents share their Rover experiences
Kaitlyn has been absolutely wonderful with Marcel. She is reliable, communicative, professional, and clearly genuinely cares about the animals she works with. From the start, she made me feel completely comfortable and confident leaving Marcel in her care. She provided me with updates, photos, and detailed check-ins, which gives me so much peace of mind. Marcel was excited to see her and came back happy, well cared for, and exercised. Kaitlyn is also very attentive to routines, instructions, and little details, which really shows how dedicated she is. It’s not easy finding someone you fully trust with your pet, but Kaitlyn has exceeded expectations in every way. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a dependable, caring, and professional dog walker or sitter. She truly goes above and beyond, and I’m so grateful to have found her!

Steve did a great job walking our 2 pups this week, they are both rescue dogs with their own special personalities. Oakley takes a while to warm up to new people, but she is definitely getting to like Steve. He has a lot of experience with dogs and knows exactly how to build trust with them.

To say that Rachel will go the extra mile is an understatement! We left and forgot to double check our key box to make sure she could get in. She troubleshot the situation and made sure Freya & Zeke were cared for. She gave them lots of love and extra long walks. So thankful for her! Highly recommend Rachel!!

Tracy is awesome! We connected super quickly as we needed a sitter since my boyfriend recently started working a new job! Within a day, Tracy had offered to meet our puppy so we could all get acquainted, and showed up to walk her just a few days later. She also leaves amazing notes every walk so we know what our girl was up to (which is amazing) and sends us pics/videos! I would highly recommend Tracy!!! :)

Megan is the best walker Bubba has ever had on Rover. She keeps an eye open for any possible issues and keeps communication channels open. I feel very relaxed knowing Bubba is in great hands. He comes home VERY happy as if he needs to tell me about how much fun he had. Bubba anc I highly recommend Megan
