About: 11 years caring for my Labrador, including training, grooming, feeding, and daily care. Patient, attentive, and skilled at building trust with pets of all ages. My schedule is pretty flexible, and I work around the pets in my care. I currently offer boarding, daycare, drop-in visits, and walks throughout the week. I’m happy to accommodate earlier or later times whenever possible—just ask! 😊 I live with my husband in a pet-friendly apartment in NoDa with an elevator, so there are no stairs to worry about. We currently don’t have any resident pets, creating a calm environment that works especially well for senior dogs, anxious pets, and pets who prefer having the space to themselves. I’ve had animals my entire life. I raised and trained my own Labrador Retriever from the time she was 47 days old, and she was my best friend for 11 wonderful years. I also recently cared for both my senior Labrador and my senior cat through their health challenges, so I’m comfortable following routines, administering medications, and adapting to each pet’s individual needs. I enjoy grooming and helping puppies learn good habits through patience, consistency, and positive reinforcement. My goal is to make every pet feel safe, understood, and right at home. To provide personalized care, I keep my bookings small. Occasionally, there may be one other friendly guest staying at the same time, depending on compatibility and everyone’s comfort level. About: Hi! I’ve been surrounded by dogs my whole life and caring for them has always been a huge part of who I am. I grew up with dogs, currently have my own sweet 7-year-old pup, and actively work with multiple dog rescues where I help foster dogs in need. We have a large fenced-in backyard for plenty of safe playtime, there’s always someone here to give your dog attention, supervision, and lots of love while you’re away. Someone will always be home with your baby! They can play or go outside as much as they want! They will have plenty of play, love and cuddles! I have a fenced in back yard. I’m a proud dog mom to two sweet girls, Halo and Ash, who keep my days full of love, laughter, and adventure. And I have recently become a proud cat mom as well, with my two goofy boys Barnabus, and Bandit who are me two angels. I grew up with German Shepherds, so I’ve been around dogs of all sizes my whole life and feel right at home with everything from the tiniest lap pups to extra-large gentle giants. I was a primary caretaker of my first dog since I was 7yo. and brought street dogs home to take care of all my life. Also we as a family used to have a toy yorkie Teddy who passed in 2016. About: Hi my name is Joseph! I grew up in a veterinary hospital being surrounded by all breeds and sizes of cats and dogs. I have 7+ years of pet sitting experience for NC State Vet Students and Faculty and currently work for a dog boarding and daycare facility in the Noda area. My background has given me hands-on experience with feeding, exercise, enrichment, and providing attentive compassionate care for every pet. I’m currently working Monday - Friday between 7am-11am (break) 2:30-7pm. On Saturday/Sunday the hours move around alittle but I remain to have a 3-4 hour mid day break for the opportunity to have midday checkups/care. My usual Check-in times when pet sitting have been 10-30 minutes before 6:30-7, 20-40 minutes between 11:30-2, and 20-30 minutes after 7:30. Depending on age, temper and health of the dog the visits can be rearranged for later or earlier visits if needed. With the circumstances of my apartment complex, I do in-house visit of my client instead of having the dog at my home. When arriving at my clients home, I like to first take the dog outside and make sure they use the bathroom. I will update the owner immediately if I see any issues with the pets stool (ie. Blood, Diarrhea, etc). After I like to feed depending on instructed time, or if no meal/ walk the dog around the owners yard or complex if possible. Before leaving I always make sure there is plenty of water and that at least one happy photo. Willing to administer medications in pill form. Also, will always follow clients instructions to a avoid any confusion or accidents.

I can watch your pets in the comfort of their own home. Will take your dog for walks, make sure they get some play time in, food, water and treats. Love animals and hope you give me the chance to watch your fur babies! Due to a permanent neck injury I cannot walk dogs that weigh more than 20 pounds or handle larger dogs that jump a lot. Definitely need to watch smaller dogs or well behaved large dogs that have a fence to be let out into. I'm pretty flexible so just let me know what you need and we can definitely work something out that will work for both of us! She went above and beyond by taking Ollie on hikes, long walks, and abiding by all his little quirks. I could tell Ollie had a blast and loved playing with her sweet dog, Kru. The day I was supposed to pick Ollie up, my flight was delayed til super late, and Erika was extremely responsive and cooperative working with me to find the best way to handle the pickup. She truly knows what a dog parent wants when letting someone watch their pup, and she’ll treat them like on of her own!”

Kayla sent me daily updates and beautiful photos, which made me feel completely at ease. The backyard was a huge plus for us, since Crispy is nervous in unfamiliar places. She was safe, happy, loved, and truly treated like part of the family (couch time included!). Crispy had such a great time that I was actually able to relax on my vacation.
