About: Hi! My name is Sarah and I am the (very) proud owner of a rescue named Benji! He's the love of my life and we are always looking for other dog friends to spend our time with! My experience with dogs is extensive as I grew up with a German Shepard, taking on full responsibility with him as a teenager. I have dog sat for several families for vacations and weekends and am comfortable with all breeds, and have been sitting for Rover since 2016. I know that dogs are part of your family and will always treat them as such. I have experience with giving medication (even to dogs who don't want it!) as well as baths and providing comfort to anxious or nervous dogs. I have had a lot of experience with sitting a variety of dogs with many different personalities through Rover. I am a very patient person (I am a teacher) and am good with dogs who are shy or cautious.
“Nicole takes Olive on the best walks and takes care of our pup Olive! She’s very communicative and keeps us well informed. Olive always comes back happy and well exercised. Highly recommend!”

About: I’ve been taking care of both cats and dogs since I was 10! I’ve had both cats and dogs throughout their lifetime but unfortunately a pet of my own is not conducive to my current lifestyle, which is why I came to Rover to hang out with your amazing pets! I am extremely reliable for walking, feeding, exercising, or anything else your furry friend may need! I am new to the Charlotte area and hoping to get a dog of my own in the future. I currently have a lot of free time and would love to explore the city with a furry friend! I am willing to care for pets in their everyday home and fulfill housekeeping/other needs that may be necessary. I am also extremely experienced with houseplants and available to care for plants while pet sitting in-home.

About: I’ve loved and cared for dogs my whole life, primarily large dogs up until end of life, as well as cats in the last 6 years. I’ve got extensive experience with these guys, and my love for these animals runs deep! I’m currently self-employed, so my schedule is very flexible for visiting or playing with your pets! The best times to schedule me are between 8am and 8pm, but I am open to other hours with planning in advance. :) I have a screened in yard, as well as 2 crates for small dogs and cats, comfy beds, and toys for them to play with! I also have treats and a dedicated space within my home for them to relax in.
About: I have always been a pet lover and don’t know what I’d do without my fluffy family. I have dog sat for many of my friends, family members, and neighbors over the years. I shadowed at a veterinarians office for three years in high school and was the farm manager of my family’s 5 acre farm for 3 years - I have seen many different types of dogs/cats/alpacas and learned how to give different medications and help in the healing processes as well, so if that is necessary I will be able to help out and already will have prior knowledge. I have helped train all of the dogs we have owned so can support any basic dog training. I have three rescue babies of my own (a Great Pyrenees and two cats) and would love to help care for your furry family member I’m currently between jobs so my schedule is pretty wide open! I can help out with walks earlier in the morning or later in the evening now that we are getting into the summer. I will care for your pet like they are my own! I know how anxious it can be to have someone else care for your pet since I go through the same feelings every time I need support caring for my pets.
“Just one week into having Max (and his fiancé) take care of my two dogs and I’m already so impressed. Max and Jen took the time to get to know my dogs and asked tons of questions prior to starting weekly walks. They are both incredibly communicative and timely, send pictures and updates for each walk, and have been extremely patient with my female pup, who can be shy around new people. I will definitely turn to Max and Jen for any future dog sitting needs!”

“Keegan is great! She really cares about the dogs and their personalities. She notices the details about their behavior and knows how best to engage with them. Both times she spent the full 30 or 60 minutes with my dogs. She sent lots of pictures and notes about how things went. Best experience with rover so far.”

“Enzo always arrived. Great consistency. However, doesn’t close his trips so it appears that he walked the dogs much longer than he did. And not sure if the map from rover is accurate but if it is, he walked them like 500 yards.”

“Averi is always reliable and quick to respond. She only had to cancel one time with us as she was attacked by another dog and needed to tend to her own health. She let us know as soon as it happened that she needed to cancel so we could rearrange.”

“Tre has become like family. He is always available to take care of Dax when I need and treats him as if he was his own. He’s very personable, responsible, reliable, accommodating to my crazy schedule and he will definitely continue to be my go-to.”

About: Ive been around animals my whole life and can't imagine a home without them. Growing up, my family had a Bull Mastiff, so I'm comfortable with big breeds and their unique needs. As an adult, I owned a Pitbull who I loved deeply and who recently passed away — she taught me so much about patience, loyalty, and care. I currently share my home with two cats, so I'm equally at home with felines. Beyond my own pets, I've spent years pet sitting for friends — everything from drop-in visits to overnight stays. I'm comfortable administering medications, handling different temperaments, and keeping pets happy and exercised. I also have experience caring for senior dogs — I'm currently pet sitting my friend's 14-year-old dog, so I know how to give older pups the extra patience and attention they need. Whether your dog needs a long walk or your cat needs some gentle company, I'll treat them like my own. I currently have open availability on weekdays and work my server job on weekends, message me with any specific request or questions and we can make it work! I'm attentive, reliable, and experienced with pets of all ages. I follow your instructions to the letter, keep a calm and safe environment, and won't hesitate to reach out if anything seems off. Your peace of mind matters as much as your pet's comfort.
About: Hi my name is Joseph! I grew up in a veterinary hospital being surrounded by all breeds and sizes of cats and dogs. I have 7+ years of pet sitting experience for NC State Vet Students and Faculty and currently work for a dog boarding and daycare facility in the Noda area. My background has given me hands-on experience with feeding, exercise, enrichment, and providing attentive compassionate care for every pet. I’m currently working Monday - Friday between 7am-11am (break) 2:30-7pm. On Saturday/Sunday the hours move around alittle but I remain to have a 3-4 hour mid day break for the opportunity to have midday checkups/care. My usual Check-in times when pet sitting have been 10-30 minutes before 6:30-7, 20-40 minutes between 11:30-2, and 20-30 minutes after 7:30. Depending on age, temper and health of the dog the visits can be rearranged for later or earlier visits if needed. With the circumstances of my apartment complex, I do in-house visit of my client instead of having the dog at my home. When arriving at my clients home, I like to first take the dog outside and make sure they use the bathroom. I will update the owner immediately if I see any issues with the pets stool (ie. Blood, Diarrhea, etc). After I like to feed depending on instructed time, or if no meal/ walk the dog around the owners yard or complex if possible. Before leaving I always make sure there is plenty of water and that at least one happy photo. Willing to administer medications in pill form. Also, will always follow clients instructions to a avoid any confusion or accidents.

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Chantilly
This was my first time using Rover and Anvesha was amazing! She exceeded my expectations. She’s passionate about dogs and is willing to go above and beyond for the well being of my dog. She was great at communicating which made this experience less anxious for me. We got so lucky with her! Thank you, i genuinely appreciate you Anvesha!

Kaitlyn has been absolutely wonderful with Marcel. She is reliable, communicative, professional, and clearly genuinely cares about the animals she works with. From the start, she made me feel completely comfortable and confident leaving Marcel in her care. She provided me with updates, photos, and detailed check-ins, which gives me so much peace of mind. Marcel was excited to see her and came back happy, well cared for, and exercised. Kaitlyn is also very attentive to routines, instructions, and little details, which really shows how dedicated she is. It’s not easy finding someone you fully trust with your pet, but Kaitlyn has exceeded expectations in every way. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a dependable, caring, and professional dog walker or sitter. She truly goes above and beyond, and I’m so grateful to have found her!
