“James is phenomenal. Calm, caring, extremely trustworthy and reliable. I can’t say enough good things. He even took the time for a pre-visit to come and meet us and get the lay of the land prior to our trip. Really grateful for James!”

“Marisa has been amazing! She’s kind, reliable, and someone I trust with Luna. She’s always on time, communicates clearly, and sends plenty of updates and photos which I really appreciate. She also respects all the routines and rules I’ve set, and checks in if she has any questions... I feel at ease knowing Luna is in such good hands. I highly recommend Marisa to anyone looking for a caring and dependable dog walker!!”

About: I can address the unique requirements of large and small breed dogs. I provide specialized care for senior and advanced senior dogs, ensuring their golden years are comfortable and healthy. I work full-time but seasonally at a large local hotel and my hours vary. I have a very flexible schedule and can work around calendar based obstacles. I find that most animals actually like to stay in their own yard, but if need be, I do have decent sized back yard and it is secured by brick walls / concrete barriers.
About: I’ve always loved animals since childhood, growing up with my parents always rescuing strays. Over the years, I’ve developed strong skills in dog care, focusing on comfort and trust. What sets me apart as a dog sitter is my ability to make pets feel at ease through a comforting touch, a unique scent I wear to ensure they recognize me, and creating a calming environment where they feel safe and cared for. I also always make sure to send pet owners picture updates of their pets to ensure they’re doing okay and to always ask questions if I am unsure about anything. Pet care is a big part of my daily routine! I’m always available because I’m passionate about making pet sitting my full-time career. Whether it’s daily walks, playtime, or just hanging out with pets, I love spending time with them and making sure they’re happy and comfortable. Caring for pets feels natural to me, and I’m excited to make it a regular part of my life! In both my home and my clients’ homes, I make sure pets feel safe, loved, and comfortable. I stick to their usual routines, whether that’s feeding, walks, or playtime, and I provide plenty of attention and affection. I always stay with them every step of the way, showering them with pets and ensuring they’re comfortable with me and their surroundings. I create a calm, stress-free environment, and if needed, I bring familiar items like toys or blankets to help them feel at home. My goal is to make sure they feel completely relaxed, loved and cared for!
“The best! Shayna knows how to listen to my instruction & cautions then cares for my Frenchie genuinely-she communicates along the way to keep my worry & anxiety down. I feel so lucky to have her! She is a sweet, kind person & I highly recommend her”

About: I recently inherited my aunt‘s dog after she passed away. She wanted me to have Buddy that’s his name (he is the dog in my profile pic♥️)because I am so good with animals. He is a senior dog and I’ve rejuvenated him. We walk every day, I make him fresh, fresh, food I play with him. He’s super happy and it’s like he’s got a second lease on life a pep in his step. This is what I can provide to dogs that I watch or sit or walk. Caring loving attentive care until their mom or daddy returns.🐶 I wake up around 5:30 am and give my dog a walk. I make sure we are up bright and early so that we can get a walk in before the pavement is too hot for him. Then I come home and feed him his breakfast. Throughout the day we s play or if I leave and when I get back I will chase him around our couch. Buddy loves that! I am very gentle and follow the rules to a T. If there’s any instructions or preferences on treatment or care for the animal, always make sure that’s my number one priority.

About: Ever since I can remember, myself as well as my family have loved and enjoyed dogs and they have always been a part of our family. I got my first puppy when I was 12 years old. She was a rescue and I had her until I was 26 years old. Her name was Molly. We had many other dogs during that time. My sister's and I were who cared for them all. Although this is my first time running a business caring for dogs, I have taken care of dogs most of my life. Some people call themselves a "people person". I call myself a "dog person". A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
