“Tressa and Blake were highly communicative, reliable and professional with me. I highly recommend them for drop in visits for your cats and dogs, and administering oral medications to your animals if needed!”

About: I have had pets my entire life. I have worked at several different small animal veterinary clinics as well as one animal shelter/ rescue. I believe people have an innate responsibility to pets in the same way that we have an innate responsibility to each other. I consider humane treatment of domesticated animals to be part of the social contract. They don't (usually) choose to be our pets, so it's on us to make sure they have the best lives we can. I also love being physically active all day. I am happiest when I am clocking 25k+ steps per day, so let me spend a few thousand of those steps with your dog. I am fortunate enough to be supported by my partner while I go back to school, and I am not taking summer classes so currently I am fully available to spend time with your pets. I have plenty of experience working with pets, and my philosophy has always been when I am around or handling other people's pets, that I treat them as if they are my own. My partner and I are unable to have children, so our pets are pur immediate family. I understand that pets are not property. They are family. Also, because of my veterinary medical background, I am very strict about what I feed my own pets, and I will always defer to you on how you would like your pets to be handled, treated, fed and rewarded. I use crates, but if you don't, that's great. Whatever works for your family. I don't give my pets cheese or people food very often, but if you wanna do that for your baby, I will happily give them their favorite snack. I don't tell other people how to parent their kids, and I respect however you choose to run your household.
“Maria was amazing. We found her last minute and we’re so happy we did. She’s newer to Rover but definitely has experience with animals. We thought she was so professional and sent the most amazing updates!”

“Alex was great! She gave updates on how her interaction with my cattos went. She also went above and beyond when l asked if she could return to my home to turn the heat on after her visit had ended meant everything. 🥹 Very quick responses and cared for my cattos as if they were hers. Thank you!”

“Haley was amazing and able to help out my family at super short notice when we had an emergency. She was great with all the critters and it seemed like they really liked her too. Would definitely book with her again!”

About: I love pets with all my heart. I have two mini golden doodles right now but I want to grow my pet family later. I enjoy spending quality time with my pets, playing with them, watching movies with them, they are basically by my side all the time and your pets will never be out of my sight and will for sure have an amazing time and be safe with me! I am pretty open with my schedule at the moment and I am free whenever you may need me to watch your dog. I’m currently in online school to become a CMA so it works well with me dog sitting. It all depends on what my client would want for the pet. In my opinion every pet needs a different type of care of other pets. My doodles are very outgoing they love to play until they get tired but they always need to be by someone because they have desperation anxiety. So it’s a matter of listening to the owner and getting a understanding of what there pet is like and needs
About: After 19 years of living with large dogs, i've grown accustomed to their behaviors, living with German Shepherds, Belgian Malinois, Huskys, Great Pyrenees, and many others. I'm used to breeds that many people consider aggressive, though I'm also good with small dogs. Since I started pet sitting for neighbors I've been around chihuahuas, terriers, poodles, corgis and many more. I'd love the chance to meet your dogs regardless of how big or small they are! I work full time at a doctors office but I have a two hour break every day, from 12-2 so I've got time during work to hang out with you puppies! I get off at 12 of Fridays and don't work at all on the weekends, I would be available for your pets almost all day, available to stop by during breaks and spending evenings and early mornings with them! Due to my availability with work I am able to spend a lot of time at the house with the pets I'm watching. I spend several hours a day and home with the pets, spending time with them, playing outside and just hanging out together!
“Ashley was great! Always arrived on time and sent lots of pictures. She took great care of our cats and gave us peace of mind while we traveled. No complaints at all and would rebook again in a heartbeat 💓”

About: have been caring for dogs for as long as I can remember, having grown up in a home with five or more dogs of various breeds at any given time. My passion for pets drives my commitment to providing the best care for your furry family member. I’m attentive to individual needs, whether that involves adventurous walks, engaging playtime, or simply offering some extra cuddles. As a proud owner of two puppies myself, I understand the importance of patience and will treat your pets with the same love and attention I give my own. I am currently serving in the army and have availability for pet sitting on weekends, as well as after 12 PM during holiday block leave. This schedule allows me to incorporate pet sitting into my routine, as I often find myself with plenty of free time When caring for pets, whether in my home or a client's, I prioritize their comfort and well-being by maintaining a safe and nurturing environment. I follow any specific instructions provided by the pet owner, ensuring I meet the individual needs of each pet. This includes adhering to feeding schedules, administering any necessary medications, and engaging in play and exercise to keep them active and content. I also make sure to provide plenty of affection and attention, creating a welcoming atmosphere where pets can feel relaxed and secure. Communication with the pet owner is key, so I keep them updated and informed about their pet's activities and well-being.
“Bernajah it's great! She provided a lot of updates and photos while taking care of my puppy. She is really sweet and very thoughtful! We will continue to work with her and we highly recommend her.”

About: I’ve had all kinds of pets since I was 8, including cats, dogs, hedgehogs, fish, etc so I love animals and am more than capable of taking care of them. I also work in animal care so I have experience in noticing odd behaviors. I am currently out of work so have a very flexible schedule. I am available any hours of the day but prefer to keep it to weekdays. With the right animal I’m willing to do weekends as well. I can easily let the pet outside for restrooms break and can interact with your pet as I love animals. I also am trained to notice odd and out of the ordinary behavior to notice any issues your pet may be having.
About: *I do require a 1-2 week advance notice and always want our dogs to meet prior to booking a boarding service* I’ve taken care of a variety of animals and creatures since I was 6 years old. A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking.
