“Caitlin is absolutely amazing and took great care with our senior kitty. Her numerous check-ins and pictures were a great reassurance that all was well while we were away - cannot thank her enough!”

“One of the nicest and professional sitters I’ve met. He was a blast to have over watching our cats! Kept us updated and sent pictures daily! Went above and beyond. Would recommend to anyone!”

“We appreciated Keshya dropping in on our cat, Bella, while we were gone. Bella was relaxed and happy when we got home. It was much better than having her stressed and nervous staying in a kennel.”

“Megan helped us out with our Golden Retriever puppy when we were in a jam on short notice. Her gentle personality was an immediate comfort to me. We got great updates each day of her drop in from the Rover app. Megan was very prompt with responding to any question or news we had. We appreciate her professionalism and kindness. Will definitely ask for her again!”

“Sara was great! She visited our cat everyday we were gone and spent time petting and brushing him in addition to feeding and cleaning litter box. She also sent pictures everyday! Would definitely recommend!”

About: I have had cats and dogs all my life that have and are living great long and fulfilling lives. I treat animals well with great care and respect and even had the opportunity to nurse a baby squirrel back to health I’m working part-time and will be visiting your little family member and be able to give them one on one attention give them walks feed them and an occasional treat and play. I understand what it’s like to have a hyper lazy or in between dog so I can handle any situation and treat them as I would my own with love care and respect. I like to set a very comfortable environment for an animal I’m working with to get them to understand that I’m a friend and someone who is here to care so I like to set those boundaries and understanding of what makes them comfortable and listen to their body language. I like to build trust in my relationships with positive enforcement and trust.
“Sarah has been fabulous. We are new to using her but so far she has been extremely professional and very communicative! My fur baby also is loving her and all their outside time.”

About: I am 100% committed to loving your furbaby as if he/she were my own. I will walk, play and love on your four legged baby and ensure they will have the best time while you’re away. I am currently on a sabbatical from my full time job so I have plenty of time to spend with your furbabies. I will visit as many times as you want or need me to. The safety of your furbaby is most important so I will take necessary precautions to make sure they are safe as well as having fun.

About: I have taken care of dogs ranging from 8 week old puppies to immobile senior dogs for decades— from administering shots to oral & topical meds, as well as regular therapeutic & “mind tiring” exercises, I’ve done it all. I’ve taken dogs to more specialist care facilities than myself or my family; I view our furry companions as family & treat them as such. I enjoy hiking, walking, biking, and cuddling with all fur-babies. A typical day in my house starts with a 2 mile jaunt - typically through some woods and half-off leash if my girl has her listening ears on (we’ve done extensive obedience and agility training), to end in a nice loop back home with breakfast, a cold “pupsicle” (Aldi FTW), and fresh water, followed by a good brush and nail trim if needed. Bath days are mini spa days— we move at the pace of the fur & always after a long walk. I’m currently a stay at home wife, so I have plenty of time to walk, bathe, feed, and love your fur-baby however many times their schedule requires. I enjoy being outside “exploring” new walking paths with my pup; I would love to give yours the same experience! I have a 7 year old lab/border collie mix named Olive, who is the sweetest gal who loves to make friends. If your fur-baby desires a friend on a walk, she’s always willing! I have a backyard that looks out to a creek down a ravine, with no neighboring doggos. If your fur-baby needs crated, I have a large kennel with a comfy bed for them.
“My husband and I had a great experience with Clara! She kindly agreed to an introductory visit with our dog, Rikke, which we really appreciated as it was our first time using Rover and we weren’t sure how Rikke would respond. She was excellent with communication, sent photos for updates, and made sure Rikke was well cared for. We’ll definitely be booking with her again for future visits!”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Fort Benning
Cecile is amazing! She has always accomidated us and our lab (Gigi) even last minute bookings. We know we can count on her to give Gigi attention and take care of her…we have booked her several times and love that we can have the same person that Gigi is familiar with which is hard when we are stationed on a military base. We love her and I would recommend her 10 times over!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.
To find sitters in Fort Benning with recurring or weekly availability, select "Repeat Weekly" and which days you’d like them to care for your pet.
