“Emily was terrific. She took notes during the meet and greet and asked questions. She checked in with me every day and even sent pictures of my animals. Initially she couldn’t get in the door (wrong key) contacted me immediately and we figured it out. She loved my dogs. I definately will call her again.”

“So grateful for Selena’s help with our pups. Really appreciated the pictures and the communication during our time away. We knew our pups were taken care of and in the best hands while we were away”

“Megan was absolutely wonderful! Needed her last minute and thankfully she was available! She took very good care of my cats while we were gone for two weeks, and brought in all of my mail/packages since I forgot to have my mail held! I will most definitely use her again! Highly recommend!!”

“Rebekah was very communicative and loved on and took care of our dogs exceptionally well while we were out of town. Highly recommend her services & we will definitely book with her again!”

“Heather is the absolute BEST and her care for Finn has been invaluable! Not only does she walk and play with him during visits, but she also reinforces my training efforts and monitors and reports his health and behavior following their time together. I could not be more thankful for her care for Finn and could not recommend anyone better to care for your furbaby!!”

“Alexis has been very open to working with my dog with special behavior considerations. My dog loved her and warmed up much more quickly than I expected! While she is a relatively new Rover and is still learning all the intricacies when it comes to navigating this line of work, her transparency and openness makes me believe that she will go far in the animal care field.”

Natalie did an amazing job taking care of our cats while we were away during the holidays. My cats can be picky about petsitters, but they seemed to really like her and she sent cute pictures at every visit. I will definitely check with her first when I need pet care in the future!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
