About: I have had cats and dogs all my life that have and are living great long and fulfilling lives. I treat animals well with great care and respect and even had the opportunity to nurse a baby squirrel back to health I’m working part-time and will be visiting your little family member and be able to give them one on one attention give them walks feed them and an occasional treat and play. I understand what it’s like to have a hyper lazy or in between dog so I can handle any situation and treat them as I would my own with love care and respect. I like to set a very comfortable environment for an animal I’m working with to get them to understand that I’m a friend and someone who is here to care so I like to set those boundaries and understanding of what makes them comfortable and listen to their body language. I like to build trust in my relationships with positive enforcement and trust.
About: Family and friends have relied on the caring for their doggies while away without the stress. I send daily photos of the fun we are having and the loves they are receiving. I am currently working full time from home. I have plenty of time to take them out to potty and run around in my fenced yard. I have a fenced yard so they can potty often and get exercise. About: I’ve been pet sitting for neighbors and friends for about 7 years! I have always had pets of my own, including both dogs and cats! I have experience with dogs of all sizes and many breeds, as I worked at Fetch Park for over a year. I have experience with caring for elderly pets, as well as rambunctious puppies. I would love to meet your four legged friend! I’m currently a student at the University of Georgia, but will be home in Columbus for the summer! I have large gaps in my schedule that allow me to take care of pets throughout the day! I always ensure that dogs are securely on a leash when outside of the house or fenced yard. I do not bring food into the pet’s home and make sure to follow any dietary/feeding instructions set by the owner. I have experience in watching dogs over night in their homes, as well check on dogs if their owner are away on vacation. Leaving my dog for the first time was something I was incredibly nervous about. He has always stayed with family, and the one time I boarded him before, he really struggled. So leaving him at home for 6 days and trusting someone new to care for both him and my cat was a huge step for me. Lucy was wonderful and took excellent care of my babies. She stayed overnight the first night and then came by consistently throughout each day to check on them, give medications, take my dog on walks, and even brushed him. My cat is very shy and doesn’t come out for most people. Lucy worked gently to get him comfortable with her. By the last couple of days he was really coming around! Still keeping some distance, but her gentle persistence was working. It is obvious that Lucy cares about their comfort. I really appreciated the constant updates and photos. They gave me so much peace of mind and allowed me to actually relax while I was away. My dog was so much happier being able to stay in his own home, and my cat also did much better having his bestie there and someone coming in regularly. I truly could not have asked for a better first time experience. I highly recommend Lucy and will absolutely use her again in the future.
