Your dog will love walking with me!
I've loved animals for as long as I can remember. My time caring for my childhood pets prepared me for work through college. In between classes, I worked in a vet clinic and as a dog walker. This love has continued with my own pets and I regularly help friends with their pets as well.

Rebekah came by to visit with us and meet our cats for two days before a weeklong trip, during which she would care for them. We were all incredibly impressed with her knowledge of cats and how quickly they took to her. Since w have just moved here and the house is new to our cats too, we were glad to be able to hire a pet sitter that cares so much.

Schedule
When the pandemic made it harder to work as a parent, I decided to use it as an opportunity to focus on writing, volunteer work, and being available for my kids. Needless to say, our dog and my kids approve. I have a lot of flexibility around their school schedule and I'm positive they'd love to help me take care of pets too if a pet needed me after school or on the weekends. They already help me with our own pup and with our friends' animals as needed. Needless to say, I come with a lot of love!

Since each pet is different, I try to provide individualized care. That could be anything from a 3 mile walk to fetch in the yard to snuggling with a book on the couch.

A typical day
When dogs stay with me during the day, they can play outside in our fenced in yard with my dog, go on walks in our neighborhood to visit some of the kids nearby who love to give scritches, and cuddle with me on our couch.
