The other is young, large, energetic, and can be protective and anxious, especially at first. John was very accommodating and patient when first meeting Abby and Archie in a meet-and-greet, as well as when he came to spend the day with them. By the end of the day, he and both dogs seemed to have bonded well. John was respectful of our home, listened carefully to all of our instructions and suggestions, and followed through well with all of them. We would definitely call on John again!”

About: I have taken care of numerous pets for family and friends, including dogs, cats, birds, fish, ferretsand even hermit crabs! Along side this my family has owned dogs since I was 2 years old, and I've done my pest to train and care all of them. I am a part-time worker along with a seasonal school photographer so I have plenty of spare time to help care for your pet's needs! I believe it is beat to care for a pet in their own space. Having their family leave can be stressful enough so I believe it is important to help them feel both safe and cared for.

“Ashleigh was an amazing pet sitter! I can't say enough good things about Ashleigh! She stepped in last minute to watch my cat and dog over the Thanksgiving holiday, and I’m so glad she did. From the start, she was incredibly communicative and prompt, and both of my pets took to her right away when she came for the meet-and-greet. I could tell they were in great hands immediately. I received daily updates and pictures throughout my trip, which really put me at ease. It was clear she was keeping them both happy and entertained, and I’m so grateful for that! When I returned, she had gone above and beyond—not only was everything in my home tidy, but she also left a sweet note about her time with my pets. My dog is a bit temperamental (she’s a chow mix), and this was my first time leaving her with someone who wasn’t family, so I was a little nervous. But Ashleigh handled it like a pro! She seemed to really connect with both my pets, and I could tell they had a great time with her. I was hesitant to use Rover at first since my pets mean the world to me, but after this experience, I feel so much more confident. I will absolutely be booking Ashleigh again in the future and would highly recommend her to anyone. She’s a true animal lover, and I couldn’t be happier with the care she provided. 10/10!”

About: I have cared for my own dog for the past 13 years and sadly he died in February 2025. I walked him around my neighborhood consistently for all those years and now having that routine gone is difficult. Before having him as my own, I also helped take care of my families dog for several years. I am experienced in caring for dogs of all ages and demeanors and all sizes too :) I am attending SUNY Cortland right now and that is the only large barrier in my weekly schedule. I can care and/or walk dogs after 7pm on Monday and Wednesdays. I am available after 4pm on Tuesday and Thursday. Friday and Saturday I can provide care all day with a days notice. Without notice I will most likely be working on Friday and therefore not available until after 4pm that day. I can house-sit on Fridays and Saturdays and into Sunday afternoon as well! I will maintain a safe and calm environment for your pet while caring for them and allow them to initiate any desired games or actions. I am willing to accommodate however you prefer for your dog when caring for them, just let me know of anything necessary :) Any questions or concerns for your dog's care are welcomed and appreciated as I prefer a heads up in advance of anything unusual or to keep an eye out/for. About: I enjoy caring for animals and have experience with cats of all ages, kitten to senior. I've had cats my whole life and have experience with bottle feeding, medication administration and diabetic care. I also have experience with dog sitting and walking. I've been volunteering with a local rescue since 2019 and I'm passionate about helping animals find the perfect home and live happy lives. About: I love being able to take care of dogs, I have always grown up with dogs in the home and also have worked in a professional dog boarding facility. I am currently a student so I have plenty of time on the weekends and afternoons. I am usually available anytime after 3pm and anytime on the weekends. I would love to walk your dogs or visit them if needed. I love walking dogs and have walked very large and strong dogs a countless number of times. I will also go on runs with your dogs if that is something they have done before and you would like me to do with them.

About: I have such a deep love for pets and I have been taking care of them for as long as I can remember. I have trained my own dogs and pet sat for cats, dogs, guinea pigs, and birds before. I am currently working part time as a server so I will have time for your pets. Weekends might be a little harder to visit at night but I can visit in the morning. Weekdays depend on wether or not im scheduled, but i only work nights. I cannot offer pet sitting in my own home but I am more than willing to drive to yours! I have had dogs of all sizes so I am comfortable with all pets. I have crated dogs based on preferences, have fed them, walked on occasions if comfortable, and follow directions on how you want your pets cared for.
