She has house sat dogs and cats for friends (at one time she house sat for two months while the couple was in Florida). Kat is prompt, keeps records of what the dog (s) was doing during the day or on the walk, and in the case of the couple who went to Florida she made sure the house and restored it back to a pristine condition. Katrina provides safe and loving care to all animals, including guinea pigs, and fish. Without a doubt I would recommend her to anyone.”

“We were heading out of town to camp with friends for 4 nights and couldn't bring our foster dog with us. Having just moved to the Syracuse area from Michigan, we'd always relied on family or friends to help watch our dogs if we were ever out of town in the past, so we were very nervous about the idea of a stranger coming and staying in our home to watch our Ollie Bug. He's also 90+ pounds of bully muscle and can be a handful for most people (jumping, mouthing, pulling, etc.). As soon as we met Anthony, we were so relived and had confidence our foster boy was going to be in great hands! Anthony came to our home about two weeks before we left on our trip just so he could meet Ollie and spend some time with him to ensure Ollie would be comfortable with him while we were gone. He stayed for an hour and was fantastic! It was also immediately apparent Anthony was knowledgeable about canine behavior, training and how to handle big dogs who may still be learning manners. The day we left for our trip, he also came early and spent another hour with Ollie learning more about him and working with him while we were there. He asked for nothing nor expected anything for two different trips to spend extra time with Ollie before we left, going above and beyond! We got photo updates of our foster pup while we were out showing Ollie being his goofy, loveable self around Anthony and of course the house was left perfectly clean and everything in order when we returned. Don't hesitate to trust Anthony with your companion animal's care! We sure won't if we need his services again!”

“This was my first time using Rover. Up until recently my father would watch our little Beans while we went on trips, but then he passed away leaving us without reliable pet sitting. We tried various different family members but then ran into some issues, so we chose to give Rover a try since leaving our dog in a kennel would never be an option. We were also looking for someone willing and able to stay in our house to watch Beans. We were happy when we found Mariana. Based on her Rover profile we felt that she would be great to care for Beans. Beans is a special need dog, that has an autoimmune disorder causing him to have to take daily medications and be on a special diet and treats. What was great about Mariana was that she has taken care of pets with special needs in the past. We arranged to do a meet and great before the official booking. I was super nervous at the idea of leaving Beans with a stranger especially in our home, but once I met Mariana in person I felt at ease. She was able to engage with Beans right away and he seemed to enjoy her being there. After our visit I felt confident in Mariana to care for Beans and our home, so we completed to booking right away. Prior to us leaving on our trip, Mariana came over for another meet and greet to get keys and go over stuff in the house since. While away we received daily updates from Mariana including: pictures, videos and messages. She always responded quickly if I asked a question. Beans seemed happy and enjoying their time together. Mariana was able to arrive when we asked so Beans would not be alone to long without someone when we first left for the trip and she was able to leave at the requested time so Beans would not be alone for to long before we returned home at the end of the booking. Overall Mariana was very accommodating. Our house was also left in pretty much the same condition we left it in. Mariana was even nice enough to grab our mail and take out the trash. We plan to book with Mariana again and In fact have already requested another booking with her in August for our next vacation. All in all, it was great to have someone who cares so much about animals take care of our dog, in our home and provide him with such love and care! I can now feel at ease when we go on vacation knowing we have someone like Mariana to watch after our little family member and our home.”
