About: I've been pet sitting since i was 13, I am currently 19 with a dog and cat of my own! I've taken care of seniors as-well as puppies. I've potty trained, taught tricks, and have done special care when needed. I love to go on long hikes and bring my dog with me! I go on walks about 3 times a day, as my dog is very active. About: I have always loved dogs. In 2021, I adopted a German shepherd and joined a training group. Practicing and training with my own dog every day led to me developing a passion for walking and working with dogs. Since then, I have walked many dogs, including structured walks where we practice heel, sit, place, and other basic commands. I also have experience assisting my trainer with client lessons and dog sat overnight for a home with multiple dogs. I have experience with large dogs, and could also help them to practice walking nicely on a leash. I have worked with and walked small, medium, and large dogs, and even a very large dog. I truly care that dogs get enough mental and physical stimulation so that they can live their happiest lives. Even in rainy weather, I enjoy taking out my dog. I’d love to help more dogs get more walks and sniffs in! I have also dropped in to care for friends’ cats and am comfortable providing cat care drop ins as well. I have a fresh water aquarium at home and could feed fish too! I am a freelance writer with a flexible schedule. Currently, I prefer to walk dogs during the day or in the afternoon, but I could work with other times. I would be available to walk dogs or drop in Mondays through Fridays and some Saturdays. When pet sitting in the past, I have used a lock box to access a key and returned the key to the box upon leaving the home. About: I have helped raise pets with my family for most of my life, taking on more responsibility as I got older. I have helped family members take care of their dogs when they are away, taking them on walks and making sure they are fed on their regular schedule. I make sure that they get enough exercise to be tired out, but not exhausted. My family mostly had cats, and I have learned to interact with them on their terms, following their lead for the toys they want to play with, the treats they like, when they are fed, and how much and when they would like affection. While my availability is limited to after typical work hours on weekdays, due to my regular job, I have almost full availability on Saturday and am available Sunday afternoon. Please note that I cannot use my phone from 7:40 to 3 on weekdays, except from 11:00 - 11:44 and 12:40 - 1:20. I will get back to you as promptly as possible. I make sure that my cat is fed daily, monitoring her feeder and water fountain to make sure they are full and clean. Kitty litter is emptied once per week and scooped about every other day, since she has 2 boxes. The doors are always closed in my house and I would make sure they are closed in my client's house as well. When watching amily dogs, they are never off-leash unless it is in an enclosed area. Occasionally in my house, I have the interior door open, but the screen door closed, so my cat can experience the outside safely. I make sure any string based toys or any choking hazards are up out of the way, so my cat and client's pets can't get tangled up in them.

Tina has been a lifesaver! I've had to travel a lot lately because of family issues, and Tina has been available to come over with very little notice. Plus I worry about my Bella (probably too much at times) and Tina has gone above and beyond to care for my girl and put up with my worrying. You could tell she truly loves animals. Victoria was fantastic in taking care of my kitty over the long weekend. She followed all of our procedures for feeding and checking on our cat. She also stayed long to play with the cat and make sure she was doing okay as my cat was feeling a bit under the weather. Victoria sent numerous photos daily and was very communicative. Would absolutely recommend her and will be rebooking if Victoria is good with that!
