Currently I'm a part-time working Mom of two. My husband works from home so my schedule is pretty flexible as far as being able to leave our kids with him so I can take on cat and dog sitting on the side. My part-time job picks up seasonally, most often in summer, and I keep my calendar as regularly up-to-date as I can in accordance. I will give all clients, new or recurring, ample notice of any schedule changes well ahead of time, and communicate promptly any emergencies should they arise.

I will always request to meet with a client prior to finalizing any care appointments so that we can decide if I am a good fit as a caregiver for their pets, and so I can see exactly how they wish for me to care for their pets and follow their example as closely as possible.

Please let me know if your pets have any behavioral or special needs that need to be accommodated. I have experience with deaf pets, pets with some loss of sight, and pets who might take a bit longer to warm up to you. I would prefer not to handle pets with aggressive tendencies or pets who need injected medication.

I love showing pets love with plenty of cuddles, if they're receptive to that, and stimulation through play with their favorite toys and games, as well as new games I can introduce them to.

I've grown up with and helped take care of dogs and cats (and turtles!) since I was 8, and cared for pets in my own household since I was 25. I'm that friend who will spend all of her time playing with the pets at your house if you invite me over. My family fostered that love of animals in me that has only grown as I've gotten older, and you can be sure that I'll treat your furry family members just as I treat my own: with all the love, care and respect they deserve.

Ta-Miko was a great pet sitter! Detailed communication with pictures, cleaned up unexpected messes and our cats warmed up to her quickly.
Ta-Miko took such great care of Gus Gus. I highly recommend! She not only fed and cleaned up after him but she played with him, loved on him and sent great photos and videos each day!
