About: Because I’m here to take care of everybody else’s kids. My name is Amaya, I have been caring for all kinds of animals for about 10 years now. It all started when I moved in with my best friend in high school, her and her mother at that time had dogs, cats, rats, tortoises, a frog, etc. After graduating high school, she started working at an animal rescue near our house and quickly became a manager. Over the years I helped her care for all of the animals she brought home, and now that we no longer live together, I’ve found that I miss the excitement that caring for animals brings to life. I figured I could spend my extra time where it’s needed. I work full time and can watch pets over the weekend or go for walks before or after work. I work M-F my schedule varies for now I can care for pets in your home however is necessary, I am able to easily crate dogs or corral cats if needed. Very used to using gates and keeping doors shut if necessary as well

“Hannah was great! She kept me updated each visit and my 2 kitties loved her. One of my cats is very shy and tends to hide when new people come around but she came right out for Hannah. Highly recommend!”

“Communication was a little difficult, and we benefited from a flexible schedule, but they got my normally reserved cat to open up and play with them, so I can wholly believe that they were taking the absolute best care of my pet.”

About: I’ve had two wonderful dogs—a Golden Retriever and a Black Lab—so I know how special that bond is. I love spending time outside and going on long walks or peaceful wooded path strolls. I’m patient, affectionate, and happy to match your dog’s energy, whether they need active play or just some company. I treat every dog like family and will make sure they feel safe, loved, and well cared for while you’re away. I work full time, but I’m flexible for walks and drop-in visits after work, on weekends, and I’m also available for overnight house sitting anytime during the week. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I follow all instructions carefully to keep routines consistent and reduce stress. I’m happy to provide updates, photos, or written reports so you always feel informed. I can administer medication if needed and ensure your pet feels safe, loved, and comfortable in your absence. I also will respect your home and property, and always aim to leave things just as I found them.

About: Mature and reliable dog sitter. My first job was walking Mrs McKensie’s Scotty dog when I was 12. I love dogs and decided to switch from Airbnb to Rover for doggies. You can trust me with your beloved canines. They will have the run of the house, couch, and human or doggie beds!! I have an older terrier mix and had a Weimaraner before him. My house has 1/2 acre of land with a lot of shade. Experienced with small and large dogs, accurate medication delivery, walking in dog groups or running free on the beach. I’ll follow your lead. I understand how important trust in a pet sitter is when you want to escape for a few days or weeks! It would be a privilege to welcome your pup in my home. I am a college professor who works remotely. So I will be home with your beloved doggie for MANY hours a day. I also love the beach and the many walking doggie walk areas in Westerly including Avondale, Moore Woods, Ninigret park and all local beaches when permitted. Again you KNOW your dog— I’ll follow your lead. I have a large shady yard, several play areas and A LOT of toys. My terrier mix is chill now that he is 12 and he loves other doggies! I am a MOTHER HawK and will never let your doggies outside alone or at night without a leash or my watchful eye to keep them safe.

“We’re new to the area so we don’t know anybody who could watch our spoiled felines while we were away. Verca took the time to come introduce herself, meet the cats, and chat. We were nervous, especially since one of our cats has anxiety but, even he warmed up to her by the second day! We’ve booked her for our longer trip later this month too!”

Jessica K.
“Jess is a fabulous petsitter! She is incredibly kind, caring and patient with all furry friends. She is diligent, timely and responsible which makes it so easy to leave her in charge when we are away. Jess has always had pets and really enjoys her time with them. I highly recommend Jess!”

Constance G.
“I have thanked my lucky stars to have connected with Connie G.. We met one another while walking our respective doggies and all 4 of us became pals. Connie has often volunteered to take care of Moose ( my very shy and finniky kitty) for weeks at a time and has done a stellar job. My doggy ( Duffy) adores Connie and practically leaps out of the car when he sees her. She is herself an enthusiastic, patient, tolerant and extremely kind pet owner with plenty of love left over for doggies other than her own. I highly recommend Connie as a dog walker and sitter. Any animal under her care would, like myself, be lucky to have found her!”

Carol & Anthony P.

“Carol was really wonderful with my dog, Chewy! Her calm manner was just what he needs. Everything was just perfect. Highly recommended.”

Verca F.

Julianne E.Star Sitter
“I highly recommend Julianne for pet sitting. I have had her watch my dog and cat a few times and once for 12 days. She is responsible and went above and beyond to care for them and kept them happy. She is genuine. There is nothing better then worry free pet care!”

Sue A.

“Our fur babies Cleo & April love Sue & look forward to her visits. She takes extra special care of them. They have become very comfortable with her in a very short period of time!”

Michaela W.Star Sitter
