About: My childhood was surrounded by dogs. When I was 12, I had to completely take care of 4 pit bulls, a Dotson, a mixed breed medium sized dog, and 3 cats. I have watched a few friends and family's pets over the years. Before I moved here, I actually helped my cousin take care of his senior husky with low energy that needed shots for a medical condition and a 2 year old German shepherd with all the energy in the world. My foster mom also bred pugs for a living, and have had to help the momma pug give birth while my foster parents were gone. I also have a 4 year old female Black Mouth Cur named Ava, that I have had since 6 months old, and a 2 year old male pitbull terrier rescue named Bosco, that I have had for a year and counting. He is full of fear and needs a lot of patience to work through it, but after 5 months of touch and go work, he now knows what play is and has his own toys! He also is scared to eat or seems to not know what his feeding bowl is, but after different ways to show that feeding time is okay, he is slowly gaining the weight he should be at! Treats were his sweet spot for knowing it is a safe place, and my sweet Ava sped the process for getting him comfortable in his new home and now commandeers my clothing to sleep with in his bed. Due to Bosco being a rescue and has become very protective is why I can't offer in home sitting in my home but am open to dog sitting at client's homes. I am currently a new stay at home mom. I take care of my two boys and my two fur babies. I am more than ready to help others with their fur babies. Due to behavior of one of my dogs, I would not be able to comfortably care for your fur babies in my own home, but I will do the utmost care for your fur babies in your home! Give me all the rules you need followed; Outside during certain times, feeding strategies, don't sit in a certain spot or area in the home. Nothing is too much to handle! I have even taken care of dogs with potty issues and needed baths for their health care and hygiene of your home.

About: My sister relied on me to house sit and watch her dogs for a couple of weeks every summer when I was in middle and high school. I grew up with dogs and was responsible for taking them on walks, feeding them, brushing them, bathing them, and playing with them. I am between jobs so I am quite flexible right now. I am looking to get a full-time position at which point I will update my schedule here. My cats are feral rescues so I cannot afford to bring any other animals into my home, but I am very cautious while going on walks to be very aware of other dogs (especially off leash), people driving too fast in residential areas, and making sure to bring adequate water for walks on warm days.

About: Located in Wingfield Springs Dog Companion for 40 years. Volunteers at the Nevada Humane Society Reno. Foster dad with Boxers and Buddies. We have a 1.2 acre fenced in yard to allow pups to run and play. Three bedrooms where they can pick which place to lay their head. I am semi retired so I have plenty of down time to take dogs for walks, visit at pups house or have pup visit Duke and play in the yard or chill out inside and outside. 1.2 acre fenced in yard with DG and grass. Welcoming 2600 sq ft home where pups are free to pick which bedroom/office they would like to relax. Very safety conscious when it comes to all animals. Pups will love spending time here or have me visit them at their house.

About: We love all animals and I have cared for dogs since I was eleven years old. Our house is dog and cat friendly. Your dog (s) and cat(s) will feel right at home and receive lots of love. We only care for dogs from one family at a time unless the dogs already know each other and with the pet parent’s permission. We are happy to take indoor cats and we won't schedule any dogs to stay with us when we have cat guests. The dog door is locked when we have cats. My husband and I will treat your "kids" as if they were our own, lavishing them with lots of love and attention. Dogs in our care are treated as if they are our own pets. We play, take walks and relax together. We make sure they are safe at all times. We are happy to feed them on your schedule and we can administer medicine if needed. Dogs are allowed on our furniture, but, if you prefer otherwise, we will accommodate that request. We are retired so we are home most of the time. We occasionally leave to go to the store, the gym or to a medical appointment. We leave dogs and cats home alone when needed, pending their parent's approval. If they can't be left alone for a short time, we make that work for us, and only one of us leaves the house at a time. We have a large dog door into a fenced dog run. We also have a large, fenced yard with lots of places to run and explore. We have no plants that can be dangerous to animals. There is no way a dog can escape from our yard. We keep our front screen door locked at all times when we have guests, so none of our kids or friends will pop in, giving a dog or cat the chance to pop out.

About: I've grown up with 2 puppers and a few cats with most recently 12 years with my cat and dog. I am looking to give your pets some good outdoor time or just drop in and make sure they're fed and watered if need be! I can give medications if needed as well and have a background in pharmacy. I work per diem with an irregular schedule. I usually have availability on weekdays and/or afternoons. Due to my schedule I do need at least 24 hour notice before any drop ins or walks! I am just finishing up an educational training job going onto a per diem position that will have plenty of weekdays open for drop ins, walks or other play activities. I will not have a space to pet sit in my home however I will be able to travel to care for your pets at your home or wherever and set it up for your pet's preference.

I work Monday–Friday from 8 AM to 5 PM, but I can take a lunch break during the day to stop by for potty breaks and quick check-ins! Overnight house sitting fits seamlessly into my routine, ensuring your pet gets plenty of care and companionship while you’re away. When house sitting, I prioritize keeping pets comfortable in their familiar environment while maintaining their usual routines. I follow all provided care instructions, including feeding schedules, medication needs, and exercise routines. Maddie, my 10-year-old Bearded Collie, will accompany me, but I ensure all interactions are supervised, and pets are never left alone together. I create a calm, structured, and loving atmosphere, providing plenty of attention, playtime, and reassurance. Safety is my top priority—I keep a close eye on pets during walks, secure doors and gates, and always respect any household rules. My goal is to make your pet feel safe, happy, and well cared for while you're away!
