About: My sister relied on me to house sit and watch her dogs for a couple of weeks every summer when I was in middle and high school. I grew up with dogs and was responsible for taking them on walks, feeding them, brushing them, bathing them, and playing with them. I am between jobs so I am quite flexible right now. I am looking to get a full-time position at which point I will update my schedule here. My cats are feral rescues so I cannot afford to bring any other animals into my home, but I am very cautious while going on walks to be very aware of other dogs (especially off leash), people driving too fast in residential areas, and making sure to bring adequate water for walks on warm days.

About: I grew up with a husky dog throughout my entire childhood and I am now a proud cat owner. Huskies can be particularly difficult dogs to walk, and I have been walking them for as long as I can remember. My parents considered our dog as a part of the family and always provided an abundance of love and activity. I have taken the same approach with my cats and I love every moment. I have had my older cat, Iris, for 5 years and I rescued a kitten, Aster, almost 2 months ago. My connection with the pets in my life drives my love for all of the pets that I provide care to. I love puppies and kittens, antics and all. I enjoy walking, hiking, and playing with dogs. Being a cat owner, I have a wonderful time hanging out with cats. Whether they love to play, just want pets, or even take a while to warm up to people, I’m here for it. I am most available Sunday-Thursday. Friday and Saturday can work for specific situations. Sunday: all day Monday: before 5 pm Tuesday: all day Wednesday: before 5 pm Thursday: all day Friday: before 2 pm Saturday: available for house sitting for the right situation. I am also an out doors person so walks are no problem! I approach every cat slowly and allow them to make the first move. About: We love all animals and I have cared for dogs since I was eleven years old. Our house is dog and cat friendly. Your dog (s) and cat(s) will feel right at home and receive lots of love. We only care for dogs from more than one family at a time, with the pet parents permission. We are happy to take indoor cats and we won't schedule any dogs to stay with us when we have cat guests. The dog door is locked when we have cats My husband and I will treat your "kids" as if they were our own, lavishing them with lots of love and attention. Dogs in our care are treated as if they are our own pets. We play, take walks and relax together. We make sure they are safe at all times. We are happy to feed them on your schedule and we can administer medicine if needed. Dogs are allowed on our furniture, but, if you prefer otherwise, we will accommodate that request. We are retired so we are home most of the time. We occasionally leave to go to the store, the gym or to a medical appointment. We leave dogs and cats home alone when needed, pending their parent's approval. If they can't be left alone for a short time, we make that work for us, and only one of us leaves the house at a time. We have a large dog door into a fenced dog run. We also have a large, fenced yard with lots of places to run and explore. We have no pl 'ants that can be dangerous to animals. There is no way a dog can escape from our yard. We keep our front screen door locked at all times when we have guests, so none of our kids or friends will pop in, giving a dog or cat the chance to pop out.

About: Located in Wingfield Springs Dog Companion for 40 years. Volunteers at the Nevada Humane Society Reno. Foster dad with Boxers and Buddies. We have a 1.2 acre fenced in yard to allow pups to run and play. Three bedrooms where they can pick which place to lay their head. I am semi retired so I have plenty of down time to take dogs for walks, visit at pups house or have pup visit Duke and play in the yard or chill out inside and outside. 1.2 acre fenced in yard with DG and grass. Welcoming 2600 sq ft home where pups are free to pick which bedroom/office they would like to relax. Very safety conscious when it comes to all animals. Pups will love spending time here or have me visit them at their house.
