About: Hi, I’m Gianna! Animals have always been a huge part of my life. I began pet sitting at 16 and have continued caring for animals on and off ever since.I currently share my home with three fur babies—two cats and one dog—so I understand firsthand how important it is to find someone trustworthy and compassionate to care for your pets. I am American Red Cross animal first aid and CPR certified. I have experience caring for dogs of all sizes, from tiny Pomeranians to gentle Great Danes, as well as pets of different ages, temperaments, and care needs. Previously, I provided pet-sitting services through ........ (photos of reviews from ........ in gallery) and am excited to continue doing what I love on Rover. I know how much pets mean to their families, and I strive to make both pets and owners feel comfortable and at ease. I’m happy to provide photo updates, regular check-ins, and open communication so you can feel confident that your pet is safe, happy, and well cared for while you're away. I work full time Monday through Friday and care for three of my own fur babies during the week. I am available most weekends. I may have availability certain holidays as well. I love making pets feel safe, comfortable, and cared for. I follow each pet’s routine closely, including feeding, walks, playtime, and any special care instructions. I make sure they always have fresh water, plenty of attention, and a safe environment to relax in. I keep pet areas clean and tidy so everyone stays happy and healthy. I also stay in touch with pet owners and am happy to share updates and photos so they can feel confident
“Amber is enthusiastic, friendly and very good with our “Covid” dogs - who were not socialized well when we got them during the pandemic. She is very patient and understanding of their needs.”

“Avery is amazing! My pets love her, and even looked for her when we returned from our vacation. She does an outstanding job communicating what is going on, sending photos, and reaching out if something changes.”

About: Hi everyone! I have 2 boy golden retrievers, Bailey, 5.5 years old & my Bentley who is 10 months old! I grew up with german shepherds my whole life & knew I wanted as many dogs as I could afford. I hope one day to have all the colors of the golden rainbow. I treat my babies as if they are my human babies, they are my world. Any animal that comes in my care will be treated that way as well🐶🤎 I’m a stay at home dog mom so I am with my dogs all day everyday. My fiancé is shift work so he will be here as well I have a big fenced in yard where I play with my babies everyday. I normally take them for a walk 5 times a day, 1 mile each time. It helps us both get our steps in & spend time outside! For my cats, they like to just lay with me, or on my bed. They have toys as well!

About: I grew up with dogs. When I was 18 I co-adopted two pitbulls who lived out their lives with me. After college, I volunteered for Monster Milers taking shelter dogs from Street Tails Animal Rescue out for runs to help them burn energy and become more adoptable. My wife and I have adopted three times. A fawn pug who lived until 9 years old, a black pug who lived until 17 years old, and a Alaskan Malamute/Husky/Amstaff mix (107lbs) that lived until he was 13 and we recently lost. I'm good with all furry friends big and small and adjust my approach based on the dogs energy. I currently have a ton of flexibility outside of my kids to help with your pups, but generally, I'm home a lot and very active so lots of room to get your pup out for long walks and exercise/stimulation. I do not have a fenced in yard, and always keep my dogs on leashes until they were absolutely ready to listen solely to my commands. I use a gentle leader that helps minimize impact on their throat and also is very effective with pulling, but can be flexible to your sitch.
“Julia helped us out at very short notice and took our two dogs out for a walk whilst we were away for the day. She followed our instructions and we found them happy and safe upon our return”

“Wonderful to have Daphne come by and walk my little dogs. We're rarely away and they can be skittish with strangers but they obviously made friends. She sent happy pictures and I felt completely confident that they were well taken care of. My first choice if I need a dog walker/sitter in the future. Thank you Daphne.”

“Craig is great!! Always here on time and Higgins, my terrier, gets new route each time. This evening walk relieves a lot of stress for me and my husband- knowing that we can rely on Craig.”

Jaclyn was wonderful with my dog Cinder, available on short notice and flexible/accommodating on visit times. A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
