About: I love being with dogs when I’m hanging out at home or in the woods and that's why I'm on Rover--I just love having dogs in my life! I'm a very active person and love being outside. I have a home with two roommates who also love dogs. We have a large un-fenced yard with a small play pen in the yard appropriate for small dogs. We live in a nice, dog-friendly neighborhood close to a park, a creek for those water lovers, and hiking trails (and, coming soon, a WagBar!). I’ve had a dog at every point in my life and have been recently raising a puppy with my parents but I have no other dogs in the home at the time. I have several dog beds around the house, toys, leashes, etc. as well as a large kennel. I'm also willing to offer extra services like bathing and brushing. I’m happy to do house visits for cats too, but my housemate is allergic so, unfortunately, I can’t do any cat sitting. I am happy to take the dogs on as long or short of walks as desired, or even on hikes and runs! Lastly, I am currently working full time from home and am excited to spend ALL DAY with your pups! I can't wait to meet and get to know y’all’s pups! :)

About: I adopted an Alaskan Malamute when she was a year old. When I got her she had every issue a dog could have, including dog reactivity, resource guarding, gaps with housetraining, not crate trained, lack of manners, separation anxiety and leash pulling. I spent three years taking in-person group and individual dog training classes to address these issues. She was a hard dog to train but after a lot of work, I now have a well-mannered dog who is completely reliable off-leash. I can read her body language and understand when she is struggling with an interaction and needs a change. If your dog struggles with any of these issues, I understand and can advocate for him or her to keep your dog happy and safe. Is your dog shy? Great, I know how to make slow introductions and know the signs a dog isn't comfortable with a pet. Struggle with separation anxiety? I work from home and have crates if your dog feels comfortable in a confined area. Not like other dogs? I know how to get between dogs to prevent unwanted interactions. Afraid of strangers? I will gladly tell a person they can not pet a dog. I work full-time from home. I can do dog care in the late afternoon and some weekends depending on my schedule. I am often available during holidays. I like to go on longer dog walks and hikes if your dog likes that. I have a large fenced yard with a dog door that can accommodate most dog sizes. I have a large Ruffland crates in my house and plenty of toys. I will only host one dog at a time.

Rebecca D.
“My standard poodle and tiny chihuahua gets so excited when we arrive in front of dog sitter Rebecca's house which shows that they are well taken care of and happy to go back. Not only is she a responsible dog caregiver but also gives loving and playful attention to them. We have used her service for short overnight stays to long week stays during our family vacations. I feel comfortable and mind at ease to know my that my dog babies are in good care.”

Hannah M.
“I enthusiastically submit this recommendation for Hannah as a wonderful dog caregiver! Hannah pet sat for my border collie Jazz and my cat Mia for just over 2.5years. We used her for both dog walks or runs several times a week and for some overnight pet sits. Like most people with dogs, Jazz and Mia are beloved members of our family so who cares for her is very important to us. She cared for Jazz from the time she was a puppy until the time we moved away from Ann Arbor, and in that time she developed a close relationship with Jazz. I always felt comfortable leaving Jazz in Hannah's care! She kept me updated daily with pics and stories of her and Jazz's exploits. She remembered her birthday and would even stop by and bring her birthday treats. I really appreciated that I could count on her to take such good care of Jazz! During this time we also got to know Hannah personally. She is responsible, mature, and is just a really nice person. I would definitely hire her again if I could!”
