About: Friend to all animals.✨ I have walked and dog-sat two pitbulls (ages: 2 and six months) on a weekly basis since the fall of 2022. My additional clients include mutts, a pug, a belgian shepherd, dobermans, and more, ages ranging 10 weeks - five years. I have stuck with some clients for over a year until their schedules changed or they moved, and with some dogs on a temporary basis. I am intent on working with the owners to adapt to their training methods for their fur-babies and enforcing those gently. About: My best -friend for the first 8 years of my life was a dog - little has changed in the intervening 40 some-odd years. I have lived with and raised dogs my entire life - everything from small Chihuahua mixes to a medium Springer Spaniel and a large lab mix (and a few others). Currently I walk walk my own dogs 1-2 hours a day 365 days a year on the trails around my wife and I's mountain home. I am an artist and fabricator who works out of my own shop located on my property. I sometimes become busy with commissions but am ultimately in charge of my own schedule - this allows me to move things around as needed to walk my own and others pups. I am currently not hosting clients dogs at my home as my own dogs (rescues) take some time to warm up to new dogs on our (their) property. This experience has made me sensitive to dogs who are reactive or vulnerable. One size does not fit all for animals and I enjoy taking the time to give them what they need.
