About: As a professional, certified dog trainer and k9 handler for the last 20 years I am the premier doggie boarding, sitting, walking and training in the Hudson Valley. Canine communication is our speciality and we love teaching our clients how to speak dog! I love your pet like our own and our clients become part of our family for life! We do not whisper, we translate. Our world revolves around DOGS. I exclusively offer walking, boarding, training, daycare and drop in visits full time. If it isn’t dogs I don’t do it! PS I also will love your kitty or farm animals too! We have a fully fenced in yard, live on 15 acres and have both crates and kennel runs for pups who prefer not to be as social or for in heat or intact dogs. We do have a toddler who is dog savvy and our pack of pups who love to play and entertain. We have a three floor house so plenty of room for those persnickety pups who’d like their space. When we travel to your home we learn their space and their routine to make the best experience!

About: Hello! I’m Jess, and I provide specialized walking and drop-in visits across the Catskill, Hudson, and greater Columbia/Greene County area. I don’t just walk dogs; I use every visit as an opportunity to build confidence, improve focus, and reinforce leash manners. My approach is built entirely on modern, science based Positive Reinforcement and LIMA (Least Invasive, Minimally Aversive) principles. I believe in rewarding behaviors we want to see, helping dogs learn safely, without the use of intimidation or aversive tools. I am currently completing dog training and behavior studies through the CATCH Academy curriculum. This ongoing education ensures your dog is in the hands of an informed and committed professional. I currently work part time on Sundays and Wednesdays, so I have plenty of time during the week to give your pets plenty of attention, playtime, and care. I focus on leash manners during every walk to ensure a pleasant and comfortable experience. I can work with dogs on impulse control skills to help reduce pulling through positive reinforcement and force free training methods. If your dog has any triggers I will work to maintain distance and reward when calm to ensure success and keep stress to a minimum for your pup.

About: Hi! My name is Andrea. I have lived in the Hudson Valley for almost 4 years now, and have been working in the area off and on since 2014. I live with my partner, Mike, and precious pups Kona and Desi. I have always lived with dogs. I am an Occupational Therapist in a school district full time and love to farm and bicycle during my off time. I’ve done house sitting and dog sitting previously and enjoyed the work. I have my own vehicle and am used to commuting around the Hudson Valley for work and for fun. I have worked with leash trained and non leash trained dogs if you have a fenced in yard. I prefer leash trained dogs for public walks with a standard leash. About: Hello all! My name is Carly. I am from Connecticut originally and have been living in the Capital district for about two years now. When I was back in home state, I had been sitting for about 8 years on and off and grew up taking care of all types. I used to have my own business called CA Pet Services doing pet sitting during my free time. I have taken care of all types of animals, large and small. I love meeting new furry friends and enjoy spending time getting to know them and giving them all the affection they deserve. Each animal that is under my care will get endless amounts of love and enjoyment. I want each dog or cat to feel safe, relaxed, and to feel that homey sensation when I take care of them. I also have my own 10-year-old male Australian Shepard, who is my fur child and enjoys meeting new friends that he can play with and take on adventures with. Some fun facts about me: • I am currently enrolled in an online vet tech program to become a licensed veterinary technician. • During my free time I like to ride horses, hike, and spend time with dog. I currently am working my full time job 4 days a week, my availability on my days off which are Mondays and Tuesdays is very flexible for dog walking and drop ins. I do not care for pets in my own home because I do have my own dog that is selective with others as he is in his senior age. If or when I do go to a clients, I respect all of the clients wishes and requests for their pet. The animal will be taken care of with thee upmost best care, as it is very hard to find reliable caretakers for our fur children.

About: I have spent most of my life taking care of animals large and small. I have grown up with dogs, cats and also had horses since a very young age. I have experience giving meds and taking care of elderly animals. I can assure you I am a all around animal lover and I will treat your pet as my own. I also use rover myself so I know what a pet owner is looking for when someone is watching your fur baby. :) I am available for weekend care only 😊.
