About: Hello! I’m Jess, and I provide specialized walking and drop-in visits across the Catskill, Hudson, and greater Columbia/Greene County area. I don’t just walk dogs; I use every visit as an opportunity to build confidence, improve focus, and reinforce leash manners. My approach is built entirely on modern, science based Positive Reinforcement and LIMA (Least Invasive, Minimally Aversive) principles. I believe in rewarding behaviors we want to see, helping dogs learn safely, without the use of intimidation or aversive tools. I am currently completing dog training and behavior studies through the CATCH Academy curriculum. This ongoing education ensures your dog is in the hands of an informed and committed professional. I currently work part time on Sundays and Wednesdays, so I have plenty of time during the week to give your pets plenty of attention, playtime, and care. I focus on leash manners during every walk to ensure a pleasant and comfortable experience. I can work with dogs on impulse control skills to help reduce pulling through positive reinforcement and force free training methods. About: Hello! Thank you for visiting my profile. I am a lifelong dog-lover and I just go gaga for descendents of wolves of all shapes, sizes, and personalities. My mother actually says that my first word as a baby was "dog", so I think it is simply fate that I am here today. I grew up with a magical Golden Retriever named Chessie and a spunky wire-haired Dachshund named Emma. I loved playing fetch with Chessie in the backyard, grooming Emma and trying to tame her spikey fur, and walking them together all around my hometown. As an adult, friends and family trusted me to walk, feed, play with, and care for their dogs. And later, I was lucky enough to adopt a very special 7-year old mini-Australian Shepherd named Lexi who had been surrendered by her previous owner. Lexi had intense separation anxiety and some health issues with her kidneys, so after all that she had been through, it was so wonderful and rewarding to love and care for Lexi and watch her regain her confidence and trust in people and thrive. Being her dog-mom was one of the most meaningful experiences of my life and I miss her so much. As your pup's new friend, it is my mission to give them that same level of attention, care, and admiration. Dogs have infinite space for love and joy and we have so much to learn from them, so I look forward to meeting you and your pup! I am a work-from-home creative type so I have lots of time and space in my schedule to take care of your pup! I am available for walks, playdates, and drop-ins, Monday through Friday 8am - 6pm and I also offer boarding. I live in a large first floor two-bedroom apartment that's right next door to my building's dog park. Enriching town parks and trails are super close, along with a community teeming with all sorts of dog-lovers and dogs. My home is a warm and welcoming spot for your dog's vacay!

My availability is pretty flexible and I will be more than willing to work around my schedule to fit your fur babies needs. I feed them, clean up after them, give them medication if needed, bathe them, walk them as often as needed. If your animal is on a schedule of any kind, it will be cared for accordingly.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I was a kid. People rely on me to take care of their dogs like feed them and bathe them and play with them and walk them and make sure they’re well loved It will only be me working with the dogs, I don’t need any other assistance with other people. I do work a full-time job, but I have flexible time before or after work so I’ll be able to take care of your dogs or cats. The best days are Monday through Saturday, Monday - Wednesday would be in the morning and Thursday - Saturday would be in the afternoon/evening. We have a fenced in yard at our house and we like to play fetch with our dogs, especially in the nice weather. They even love the snow. We do crate train our one dog so if your dogs need to be crated, I am able to do so. Our dogs are on the schedule for their food so if your dogs are too, I understand and can follow that schedule. And we give them lots of love so your dog(s) will be loved too.

About: Hello all! My name is Carly. I am from Connecticut originally and have been living in the Capital district for about two years now. When I was back in home state, I had been sitting for about 8 years on and off and grew up taking care of all types. I used to have my own business called CA Pet Services doing pet sitting during my free time. I have taken care of all types of animals, large and small.
