“Erica was great with our Lola! She was on time for the drop-ins, sent us many pictures and updates each visit. Lola was very comfortable with her and she really enjoyed her company.”

About: I am a dog owner for the past 7 years and own two Setter pups. Friends have entrusted me with their dogs for petsitting and dog walking - in some occasions I would have as many as 4 dogs with me, but I wouldn’t have it any other way! As a dog parent I know how important is to have someone you trust with your baby, I will treat your dog as my own, making sure your dog is safe and happy! I mostly work from home during the week, which allows me to be flexible to go on a walk with your pup to get some fresh air or do a drop in visit to spend some time with them. When I drop in to check on your pup or take on a walk, I will always follow your instructions closely and make sure they feel safe and comfortable. During walks, I will keep a close eye on them, always be on leash, and make sure they get the right amount of exercise based on their energy level. Afterward, provide a quick pupdate so you know your pup is happy and well taken care of.

About: I have been a nanny/babysitter since I was in middle school and pet care goes hand in hand with that. I’ve taken care of all of my clients’ pets when they are out of town. I currently have my own fur baby (Hank the GSD) so I don’t do overnight pet sitting anymore but I am looking for drop in jobs in my area I am a full time nanny in Arlington heights so I am able to drop in before or after work and on the weekends to check on your pets. I work roughly 8am-5pm M-F I can come check on your pets and play with them. Make sure they have food/water and take them for short walks before work or longer walks after work. On the weekends I am able to stay longer to spend time with them but no overnights.

“Cathy started caring for our black lab, Wendy, last week. She responded so quickly to my messages and was able to do a meet and greet within days of my first message to her! Our dog loves Cathy and it’s been going really well when Cathy comes to let her out at lunchtime. I would definitely recommend Cathy to care for your pet! She has a lab of her own and a lot of experience.”

“Aury was so flexible with our Pepper. Originally booked for 3 days drop in visit, but due to our flight cancellations, we had to extend 2 extra days. Aury went above and beyond to make sure Pepper was fed and got his medicine, and the ease of adding extra days made me feel a lot better about not being home in time. Will definitely be using Aury again for our next vacation.”

About: I worked as a veterinarian for the past 5 years in Belarus. In April, I moved to the U.S. and am currently improving my English to get my diploma certified. I adore dogs—they make me happy, and I already miss interacting with them so much! I can walk your pets, play with them, feed them, and provide at-home treatments/medical care as prescribed by your veterinarian. I offer flexible pet care at your convenience — morning, afternoon, evening or night (advance notice required) . Services include walks, playtime and vet-approved treatments. I easily connect with dogs and cats of all temperaments. With patience and a gentle approach, I earn their trust and friendship, always prioritizing animal-friendly care.

“We have never left our dogs with someone before/had someone come over to do drop ins for our dogs, so I was hesitant on trusting a stranger. But at the meet and greet, I knew Sarah was going to be awesome! She was thorough with her questions, got a great understanding of the dogs, even asked questions I didn't think of! I felt our home and dogs were safe with her the entire weekend. She gained our trust instantly (which is not something that happens often)! The dogs loved her and had the best time with her!?”

“Morgan is a very friendly and gentle care giver for our dogs. She is always on time and very patient. I also like that she has tones of experiences in the animal hospital. I’m looking forward to work with Morgan long term and will not hesitate to recommend her.”

“Jessica was amazing! We were so stressed out to leave our cats while we went on a 10 day vacation, but she was able to put our minds at ease our whole trip! She took pictures every visit and sent us updates throughout the week. We could tell the cats really enjoyed her visits :) We would highly recommend her ! And we definitely plan to use her again in the future! Thank you Jessica!”

Each day starts with a walk and breakfast, followed by a midday potty break and playtime. In the evening, your pet enjoys a longer walk, dinner, and some playtime or cuddles. About: I have helped my best friend (of 17 years) with his current dog and late dog with feeding, walking, playing, staying overnight, staying for an extended time, cleaning up after messes in the house, everything I can think of. I am always eager to help out so that you do not need to stress about a single thing. I want you to be able to leave your house knowing that your pup is left in the best of hands. I can be serious when I need to for any disciplinary measures you might have in place to keep it consistent, and all the fun in the world as well to keep your pup entertained while you are away. I believe in keeping dogs active when they want to be and letting them rest when they want to as well. I have helped out my best friend with some foster dogs lately, including a current foster pittie, and with their own Rover dogs they watch at home. I currently still live with my parents who are allergic to most dogs, so I have to come to your place. I unfortunately cannot have dogs over. I hope I can be of service to you in the future, and I look forward to meeting many pups soon! I just got a job as a supervisor for a grocery store, so I will see if I have a set schedule or not so I can help out the most. I still intend to help out here on Rover :). I have a ton of doctors I see, so my weeks are a little goofy, but I will do my best to update my calendar to reflect my schedule ASAP! I spend a lot of time at my best friends' house right now (my best friend and his wife) watching their dog and feeding him when they are both working. They have also had their current foster over a month now, so I feed him and shower him with love as well. I grow attached to dogs' personalities. I have also trained dogs using training treats to sit, stay, "wait" and "free" for eating food, "wait" and "come" for treats, how to ring a bell on the back door for potty with the cue words "sit" "gentle" (tap the bells hanging on the door gentle with their nose) "thank you", paw, and down (lay down). I am not saying I would be able to do this with every dog, but if you wanted me to try to teach your dog anything, give me the challenge! I love a good challenge! I would like to make something clear that is very important for medical reasons (I even have the paperwork to prove it because of how ridiculous it sounds haha): I am extremely allergic to heat and can overheat/faint super easily (within 5 minutes usually) so walking your pup in 90°+ weather would be VERY difficult. But ALSO, I am DEATHLY allergic to extreme cold. The cold can kill me. But as long as I bundle up, I’m fine. So winter walks shouldn’t be much of an issue :). I will always make sure to clean up after every visit, I want to make that abundantly clear. I LOVE to clean, and I refuse to leave a mess for you to clean up if it happened on my watch. I will always make sure to follow your rules for your pups if you have certain rules to follow. I will never EVER judge anyone for any rules in place. I only want to do what is right by you in order to provide the best possible experience so that when you get back home, your dog will be so happy to see you or asleep in my lap from playing so much. I truly do want to be the best I can be as a dogsitter, so if there is anything you want specifically for your pup, do not hesitate to let me know. I am very laid back and very understanding. I have over 16 years of retail experience under my belt, so I guess I just aim to make sure that the customer/client always knows they're worth it! I never mind helping out!

“Faith is a rockstar. Not only does she truly love animals, but she’s quite the animal whisperer. It’s clear from the numerous photos that she provides that my cat loves her just as much as she loves him. Faith is excellent with communication and on several occasions she has responded to my cat-sitting requests on super short notice. I cannot recommend her enough.”

“This was my first time using a Rover care giver locally. I've done it in other towns, with success, but have been unable to find someone reliable, with an open schedule. Eileen was able to meet for a "meet and greet" on a few hour's notice, but was able to commit to a next day booking. 3 in my home visits/walks with pictures at each visit and plenty of feedback. She was friendly and nice and Mud, my 65 lb Pit Bull took to her immediately. I'm happy to have come across Eileen and will book her again as the needs present themselves. Thank you, Eileen! You were great!”

“I had the absolute pleasure of having Rory watch my two dogs for a weekend last summer, and I honestly couldn’t have asked for a better pet sitter. Throughout the weekend, Rory kept me updated with messages and photos, which really put my mind at ease while I was away. She stuck to the feeding and walking schedule perfectly, made sure the dogs got plenty of playtime and attention, and even took the time to tidy up before I got home. I couldn’t have asked for a better person to take over her care — she treats animals like family.”

“There are few people who care for animals as much as Ellie does. Whether it is a dog, cat, or even a guinea pig she loves them all the same. I have seen first hand the level of care she provides, and could not recommend someone more to take care of their pet. She has experience taking care of animals both professionally and her own pets. She will treat every pet with the respect and care that she would her own.”
