Thank you again!! " I've cared for households with multiple pets, including cats, dogs, multiple cats, multiple dogs, and a combination of the above. I've often had people reach back out to me to sit for them again. I love to follow your instructions as closely as possible to help out your animals with the stress of owner absence. I find it important to take time to play with and sit with animals. I'm familiar with giving pets medication, whether through pill pockets, food, or other methods. If your kitties are particular about litter cleaning, I am happy to provide that more frequently as well. I work with energy and empathy in my other jobs, so I am able to bring a calm presence for animals and pay attention to their energy when caring for them. I value consent-based interaction, so I allow animals to warm up to me before petting them. I have flexible work, so I can arrange to stay with your pets or drop in at your convenience. One of my jobs works well with being at home, so I can stay put. I tend to lock doors, being familiar with city living. About: I’m a graduate student with a bachelors of science in Biology and a concentration in pre-vet, working towards a career in veterinary medicine with years of hands-on experience caring for animals. I’ve worked in a clinical hospital and an animal shelter with both cats and dogs, gaining experience with a wide range of temperaments, ages, and needs. I’ve also taken multiple animal-focused college courses that strengthen my understanding of proper care, behavior, and health. In addition, I’ve provided pet sitting and dog walking for friends, family, and neighbors for several years. I’m comfortable caring for pets of all ages and make sure every animal feels safe, loved, and well cared for. I’m currently working part-time, but I have as much time as I can give for your fur baby! I coach softball so I’m away part of July but other than that my schedule is pretty open. I prioritize pet safety by following routines closely, maintaining clean spaces, and respecting your home. About: I have been around dogs my whole life, I took animal science in High school and worked in dog related jobs for about 5 years. I currently have five of my own fur babies. 3 pups and 2 cats I currently am out of work for the summer and I have open availability. Late August I will return to work as a preschool teacher and will be available evenings and weekends. Most who went to the state of MA for agencies to train to help find missing people. I also grew up with cats and many reptiles. Currently I have two cats and three tortoises. I am always a drive away from my apartment to give potty breaks and walks for my new furry friends. I also have experience with dog obedience as I have a friend who owns/runs a local business. I have many resources for all animals. Currently I travel to my clients. Most of them are 5 to 20 minutes away from my apartment. I am able to make my own hours to take your fur baby out and spend time with them. I will take your dog out on leash for potty breaks and walks. I am able to take your dog to areas that are safe to take your dog off leash to run energy such as dog parks if you approve. If I am coming to you, I would want to learn everything you do to make your pet comfortable. I have many years of experience with all sorts of pets and farm animals if that’s growing up with pets and learning. Or if it’s in the vet med field or on the farm. First off everyone if different and that’s important to know how to make your pet most comfortable while they are being cared for. About: I’ve been caring for pets informally for my entire life and professionally starting 12 years ago. I care for each pet like they are my own. I am sensitive to their energy and needs. I am able to work with animals who have unique social/emotional and medical needs. I mainly work with dogs and cats but am also experienced in caring for small animals like rabbits, birds, reptiles and fish. I’m currently working part-time, and my schedule varies a bit week to week. I am free mornings and evenings, most Thursdays, as well as Mondays after 2 pm. For now, I am able to care for and board cats and small animals in my home. In the summer, I can board dogs in my fenced in yard.
