About: I’ve been around animals my entire life and have hands-on experience caring for a variety of pets, including dogs, bunnies, and birds. Growing up with different types of animals taught me how to adapt to each pet’s unique personality, needs, and routines. I’m comfortable with everything from energetic dogs who need structured walks and play, to smaller animals that require gentle handling and consistency. About: I have been around dogs my whole life, I took animal science in High school and worked in dog related jobs for about 5 years. I've often had people reach back out to me to sit for them again. I love to follow your instructions as closely as possible to help out your animals with the stress of owner absence. I find it important to take time to play with and sit with animals. I'm familiar with giving pets medication, whether through pill pockets, food, or other methods. If your kitties are particular about litter cleaning, I am happy to provide that more frequently as well. I work with energy and empathy in my other jobs, so I am able to bring a calm presence for animals and pay attention to their energy when caring for them. I value consent-based interaction, so I allow animals to warm up to me before petting them. I have flexible work, so I can arrange to stay with your pets or drop in at your convenience. One of my jobs works well with being at home, so I can stay put. I tend to lock doors, being familiar with city living. Integrity and trust are paramount to me, so you can trust that I will treat your home well and honor any areas you don't want me to be in. I know it's a lot to trust a stranger in your home while you are away -- I am happy to provide references and other information to make you feel safe.
