About: I do have veterinary experience. Have taken care of friends dogs for many years. Basic experience with grooming and nail trims. Also have cat care experience. I currently work early AM shift at my regular job. I am available after 11am for walks and check ins.I am unavailable on weekends at this time I have experience with giving medicine,oral and injectable. “This is the second time we had Melanie take care of our four cats - she gets a 16 (out of 16) paws up from the 4 cats! We came home to very clean food bowls and litter boxes. About: My dad taught me at a young age how to care for, and respect all animals. I have turned this into a life long love for all animals, both domestic and wild. I am a vet assistant, and currently studying to be a certified vet tech. For the last two years I have worked at the local animal shelter, and for the last year, at a dog daycare as well. I have volunteered at Dakin for the best part of the last 15 years. This has included transportation of animals, dog walking, animal socialization, and the kitten ICU. I am currently working part time, so I will have plenty of time for your furry family members. I am available during the week, on weekends, and holidays. Whether your dog likes the dog park, or playing in the backyard, we can play using their favorite toys. If they are more of a couch potato, I can accommodate them as well. If you have kitties that need company, we can play in the house, or go out for a stroller ride. I have a fenced in backyard for the dogs to play in. In the summer, a pool and water sprinkler will be available. I am a vet assistant, so I have first aid training for both dogs and cats. My house is air conditioned, perfect for relaxing on a summer day.

About: I grew up with pets of all kinds: dogs big and small, acts, pony, Guinea pigs! I have owned a dog and cat since I was 23! I’ve rescued old and young pets and raised a hedgehog, chickens and fish! I’ve trained puppies and nursed injured dogs back to health. I work part time so I have a pretty open schedule! I am available mornings and later afternoons, as well as anytime on the weekends! I am very adept at figuring out what a pet needs by picking up on their behavior. My own pets are treated like royalty! They receive regular walks, car rides, baths and teeth brushing, vet care and snuggles. I believe animals are healing and have come to depend on their companionship!

About: I've taken care of pets of several species as well as several different dog breeds since I was a kid. I run, hike, and trail run with my dogs. I've had cats and dogs through every life stage from puppy/kitten through senior. I've raised 2 high energy puppies in the last several years and train with them a lot. I have given medications to my dogs as well as friends dogs. I would love to make your pet happy and provide for their specific needs! I currently have an open schedule after I complete my own pet care in the mornings (and evenings). I can do drop-ins for potty breaks, play, and pets. I can do regular walks or hikes. I can do a quick drop in for a midday potty break and some play or go out for a walk or hike as well. *For boarding, I have 2 dogs (1yo and 6yo) and 1 cat. For safety, my puppy is crated during alone time and guest dogs are introduced gradually and separated in their own area when unsupervised. Boarding for cats will not require introductions as they will have their own space.
