Maggie is a very nervous dog, but she responded well to Yvette on first meeting, so I felt good about that. Yvette also has all the needed supplies, lots of toys and a crate, which was nice because Maggie likes to have a place to feel safe when she’s nervous. “MJ was terrific with my 5 month old bordoodle puppy. She kept me updated about how he was doing during the week I was traveling, and sent me lots of pictures. I was extremely comfortable that MJ, a responsible dog owner herself, was taking great care of Nacho and treating him as one of her own. He got plenty of play time and love and snuggles. She also made sure to carefully introduce him to her three dogs- I think my puppy had a real vacation at her home! I was skittish leaving Nacho anywhere with other dogs due to a bad experience he recently had at a doggie day care, but MJ quickly put me at ease and clearly treated him wonderfully. I was terrified to leave my 5 year old Frenchie with anyone while I went on a family cruise because he had just been prescribed daily meditation for severe back pain. She even went the extra mile to get him more fresh food because I accidentally didn’t pack enough (the joys of packing an entire family for a cruise will sometimes make you forget about the family pets needs😩😂). When my Frenchie was leaving her home, he turned around a dozen times (in his own way of saying goodbye) and even watched her home from the car window as we drove way— which was a sign that he was loved and cared for enough to feel sad to leave them.
