“This was my second time using Olivia and it was just as great of an experience as the first. My dog can be super high energy upon meeting people and she does a great job of letting him get his zoomies out before settling in. Will definitely book again!”

“Abbigail and Cody were so great with my animals. I’m so happy to have found them on here. My dog has quite a personality and absolutely adores them. Will be booking again because I feel confident he will be happy and safe when they are around. Really great people.”

“Javay was fantastic! Super communicative and was incredibly patient with my senior anxious dog. She was available last minute which was a huge life saver for us. Thank you so so much Javay, Murph misses you!”

“Bryan is a wonderful person and is very thoughtful of both the dog and the owners. Bryan was very thorough when we left and gave us great picture and updates. He is 5 star all the way.”

“She was amazing will definitely book again! She always kept the updates coming where I didn’t have to wonder about anything with my dogs. & also my very skittish shy-like dog actually was opening up and got along with her as well!”

“This was my first time using Rover and I feel like we made a great choice hiring Dan! Dan made our first experience better by happily offering to meet the pups in advance to make sure the pet sitting weekend went smoothly. His calm energy was really reassuring, especially because one of our dogs is a bit anxious. When we got home our dogs were happy and the house was tidy. We will definitely use him again for any pet sitting needs in the future.”

“Jennifer went above and beyond taking care of our animals! She sent wonderful updates while we were gone and our pets had the best time hanging out with her. HIGHLY recommend her whenever you need someone to take care of your pets.”

“James is a fabulous pet and house sitter! He took in the mail, watered some new plants and even used his dog training skills to teach our ol’ man Blue some new manners while out on walks. It’s also helpful that James lives 3 min away from us in Grant Park. We will definitely use James again!”

“Beanie enjoyed her time with Anthony. When he left, she was still following him, which I think is a good sign. Appreciate the care and the updates.”

“Lauren was incredibly communicative and super easy to work with. Sent updates and pictures of the dogs and I never had to worry about them at all.A+++ will book with Lauren again”

“Tevin quickly responded to my last minute request for an in-house sitter. He was excellent w my animals— a slightly reactive senior dog & scaredy cat kitty. He was communicative and he sent lots of pics & videos. The house was all in order when I returned home & he had even started a laundry load of towels which I’m very appreciative of. All in all Tevin was excellent & I wouldn’t hesitate to book him again!”

“Kay has housesit my 3 dogs of all different breeds twice now and has done a great job. She is easy to communicate with and stays on top of each pups needs. She sends pics and videos along the way along with updates that help ease your mind while traveling and juggling life. I look forward to having Kay back again!”

“I am an anxious dog parent of a 4.5 lb Yorkie who is facing various health issues that required full time monitoring. Deanna and her wonderful daughter, however, made me feel so at peace while I was away. Deanna was incredibly diligent with his care, went above and beyond to communicate and manage his health/daily routine, and both of them offered an abundance of love and snuggles. They will be my first call next time I have to leave my pup because I truly couldn’t have asked for a better experience!”

Old Fourth Ward pet parents share their Rover experiences
John was a terrific house/dog sitter! Mambo is almost 12 and very set in his ways as well as having anxiety issues. John patiently administered Mambo’s meds and was able to keep to a regular schedule. Regular updates and photos gave us reassurance that all was well.

I was nervous leaving Remi during her recovery, but she made me feel so comfortable and kept me updated. She was patient, caring, and attentive to Remi’s needs. I truly appreciated how reliable she was especially that it was a bit last minute. I would definitely book with her again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for someone they can trust with their pet.

Nathan took great care of my pup Addison while we were out of town for a few days! He sent plenty of picture and video updates and let me know that everything was going well. He left the apartment clean. Overall, I would definitely recommend booking Nathan for your pet sitting needs!

Kerri took great care of our pups. We loved her after the meet-and-greet and felt really confident leaving our babies with her. She provided regular updates and photos and made sure they got lots of cuddles while we were away. She was also really prompt about responding to any questions I had about how they were doing. She left the house clean and the dogs happy and comfortable. ❤️

Trang was a wonderful pet sitter! Communication was great, and Trang was always friendly and easy to work with. We received regular updates and photos of both our cat and dog, which gave us peace of mind while we were away. Our pets were well cared for, and our house was spotless when we returned. We'd definitely book Trang again in the future and would happily recommend Trang to others.

Cabby is phenomenal! This was our first time leaving our 2 dogs with a sitter. We were nervous about what to expect and how the pups would do under the care of someone new. Cabby went above and beyond anything I could've expected. From the beginning, she was professional and communicative. She did a fantastic job not only with the pups, but caring for our home as well. She provided multiple updates daily, which were so entertaining to read. It was as if I was reading the dogs' daily journal entry! Cabby truly loves dogs and has the experience to care for different needs and personalities. I can't thank her enough for the peace of mind she provided us while we were away, and for being such a trustworthy and reliable caretaker. I highly recommend her and would definitely book with her again!

Ruth has watched our two cats whenever we traveled over the last two years, and she has been absolutely wonderful. We have used a lot of pet sitters over the years, and Ruth is easily one of the best we’ve ever had. She is always on time, incredibly responsive, and fantastic with the cats. We never had to worry about anything while we were away. We are moving out of town and are sad to leave her. We cannot recommend her enough.

Robert was wonderful with our girl, Billie! He was patient and allowed her to warm up to him and go at her own pace. We were really worried to go out of town and leave her home, but now we will feel better about booking trips knowing that she is being well cared for!

Abbey was such a wonderful in home dog sitter! She took Millie for multiple walks and even let her sleep in the bed with her. We were so thankful to know she was being loved on and in good hands! We loved the updates and pictures she sent us. We will definitely be using Abbey again in the future.
