Hi! My name is Carol and I love dogs, but unfortunately cannot support one of my own. I frequently watch my friends’ dogs - I love that I’m helping them out while low-key renting a fur baby. I trained my childhood dog, Lady (the chunky yellow lab mix, pictured above), to walk off the leash with me, to poo outdoors, and basic table manners. While I do not have any degree or certification for working with animals, I’ve learned so much by raising my own pup. I also have a 10-year old cat and have experience taking care of chickens, reptiles, bunnies, and other less common pets. I am very flexible and appreciate good communication - I'm happy to go out of my way to make your life easier with enough notice! I just moved to Atlanta, so I have a flexible schedule that can be easily accommodated to your requests. Thank you for your consideration and please contact me with any questions. I have worked with reactive dogs before, so I am very cautious and aware of my surroundings when on walks, regardless of the temperament of the pup I'm caring for. If you have any specific things to look out for when it comes to your pup, I'm happy to take note.

Carol was a lifesaver! Having her take care of my two dogs -one whom is a senior girl - allowed me to truly enjoy my vacation without worry about them. This was the first time I had left my senior dog with someone for longer than a weekend, and Carol made the experience completely stress-free. She checked in regularly with photos, was always responsive, and took fantastic care of my old lady. Of course, she also spoiled my other girl with plenty of love and attention! Carol is professional, reliable, and communicative, and she took great care of my home as well. She even had to deal with construction in my backyard while I was away, and it didn't faze her one bit. I highly recommend Carol and will absolutely trust her watch my two babies again!!

Carol took excellent care of my dog while I attended a conference in Austin. My dog is a high maintenance, elderly Chihuahua and Carol is attentive to her needs. Carol is also great at communicating and keeping me updated on my dog while she’s in her care.
Communicative & helpful!
Carol was a total lifesaver! I was in a difficult spot when my original sitter fell ill, and Carol stepped in on very short notice at my hotel. This was my first road trip with my geriatric rescue Chihuahua, and she was incredibly anxious in the new environment. I am beyond grateful for Carol’s kindness- she arrived early, followed every one of my detailed instructions to the letter, and was so gentle with my girl. Because Carol was there, I was able to be truly present and enjoy a rare night out with my brother and his family who traveled from across the country to meet me in Austin. The best part was returning to the hotel: instead of a stressed pup, I found my dog completely calm, relaxed, and clearly well- cared for. I truly cannot thank Carol enough for the peace of mind she gave me. She is a hero!

Schedule
I am currently studying for my real estate license and working remotely, so my schedule is very flexible. Please let me know with enough notice as possible what time you need me to arrive/depart so that I can plan my schedule around yours :)
