About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I was around 12. My family and friends have always relied on me to take care of their fur babies! I could work full time! I’m always up and ready to go for your fur-babies! I absolutely love to spend time and take care of animals Trust is a big thing! I will always arrange meet and greets before coming into a rover job, no matter how big or small the situation may be your fur babies will come first!

James W.

“Our dogs LOVE him, and he is very attentive and loving to our Zeus. He is prompt, flexible, friendly, has excellent communication and is overall a delight. I STRONGLY recommend him to anyone in the area looking for a reliable and trustworthy person to walk or care for pets. A highly organized and reliable pet sitter with a passion for animal care. Adept at providing quality care to a variety of animals in a safe and nurturing environment.”

Lindsey S.

“Lindsey was the best dog sitter we've ever had! We have a giant ball of anxiety and was worried he would have a tough time with us being gone but Lindsey sent lots of pictures and kept us updated and our pooch was in the best mood when we picked him up! Thank you so much! We'll Absoluetly be rebooking Lindsey the next time we leave town :)”

Miriam G.

“Miriam was wonderful! She made sure our dogs got along before confirming the booking and asked plenty of questions about him. She has a fantastic yard where Opie happily spent most of his time. He came home tired and well cared for!”

Erika W.

“Erika did an amazing job watching our Golden Retriever and Shiba Inu while we were out of the state for 10 days! We were kind of nervous because they've been with us almost constantly during COVID, and our Shiba has separation anxiety (and a few other phobias). It was clear from her daily photos and updates that they were having a blast and felt very relaxed at her place. Our dogs had their own private fenced-in yard with a dog door leading in to the basement/kids' play area where they had free reign to hang out. Many photos also showed them playing with the kids and getting lots of attention, so they were well cared for! I will definitely use Erika again and highly recommend her for watching your fur babies.”

About: I was a foster parent for Lap Dog Rescue of New Mexico for three years. I have special experience with pregnant dogs and cats, newborns, and I have a big soft spot for senior pets. I am currently a foster provider with Asheville Animal Humane. My style is very gentle and affectionate, though I am also very clear with boundaries. I am an avid hiker and walker, so your babies will get plenty of exercise! I am a retired childbirth educator, doula, and Hypnotherapist. I am blessed to have my days to myself and am home all day except for errands and hikes. We have been in Asheville for one year and my schedule is wide open. Lana, my partner, works full time from home. We have a fenced yard and our two little 5 year old poodle mixes are used to welcoming and entertaining new furry friends, since they have "fostered" many dogs over the years.

About: With a lifelong affinity for animals, my journey in pet care began with an unusual companion - a pet raccoon - during my childhood. Since then, my life has been graced by the presence of numerous cats and dogs, each leaving their own special mark. Presently, my cherished companion is Balsam, a lively 5-year-old Border Collie. Last winter, I took on the responsibility of boarding and caring for a diverse pack of 20 dogs in my former home in Marion, NC. Currently residing in Swannanoa, NC, my partner and I have the privilege of calling a spacious 3-acre property our own. Among our circle of friends, we're the trusted go-to whenever pet sitting is needed. Our devotion to animals runs deep, and we are eager to extend the warmth of our home to your beloved furry companions. Rest assured, in our care, they will be treated with the same love and attention as if they were our very own. As a small business owner and yoga teacher, I'm fortunate to have a highly flexible schedule. This, combined with the support of my equally devoted partner, who is also a small business owner, allows us ample time to provide exceptional care for your cherished pets. Our commitment to their well-being is unwavering, ensuring they receive the attention and love they deserve. Nestled in the heart of Swannanoa, our home is a secluded cabin, enveloped by the serene embrace of a lush forest. Towering trees, reaching up to the majestic heights of Grant Mountain, create a picturesque backdrop for our haven. This tranquil environment provides the perfect sanctuary for your furry companions, ensuring they experience a peaceful and harmonious stay.

Michael P.

“Absolutely love using Michael to watch our fur baby! Easy drop off and pick up! Communicates and sends pictures! Would give 10 stars if I could!”

Sarah A.

“Sarah is amazing with little Beaux! He gets so excited when he sees Sarah, which makes us feel at ease when dropping him off to stay. Sarah is so great about sending updates & pictures. She does such a great job of capturing photos of him out on walks or just sunbathing in her yard. Very thankful to have connected with Sarah & all the love she gives to our pup!”

Salva A.

“Salva took wonderful care of our dog, Chalupa. She sent daily updates with pictures of our pup being well-loved. We would definitely use Salva again and trust her with our pets!”

Valerie B.

“Valerie was great! We were very nervous to drop our little one off as he’s never stayed with people he doesn’t know before and is high anxiety. She kept us updated with pictures and videos all throughout his stay and let him snuggle to his heart’s content. We will definitely be using her again!”

Holly L.

“Abby loved staying with Holly! Lots of great outdoor space to play and beds to cuddle on. She also got along really well with Holly's dog, and even took a hike in the woods one day. Definitely would recommend!”

Colleen M.

“Colleen and her partner kept our little man safe and happy. Having a fenced yard is a big plus for us. Thank you so much for watching our Furiend, we will definitely re-book if available.”

About: I love animals of all sizes. I have over 10 years experience as a vet assistant and have also worked in boarding facilities. I can care for animals from babies to seniors. Able to handle giving medications and special needs. I work full time Mon-Fri. During the week if I dogsit the dogs go out at 6:30am, 12:30-1 lunch potty break, and then I'm home at 6pm. Free on weekends. I can board during the week some depending on how many potty breaks your baby needs while I work. Also, depending on the size or situation I may be able to board more than 2 pets at a time. I live on a small farm. I have a large fenced in yard. I have 6 small dogs of my own and one larger (50lb) dog. They are all rescues from various situations (mostly from work- vet tech). All my dogs are dog friendly except one I have named Hop. Hop doesn't go out with client dogs at all so no worries there. My other dogs are used to socializing in larger groups with my friend/coworkers dogs. I do have room to crate your dog if needed or keep separate from my dogs if needed. I have a lot of experience with dog behavior and social cues and dogs are not left playing unsupervised. My dogs are all current on vaccines, flea/tick prevention and heartworm prevention.

Kinsey S.

“Kinsey provided excellent care to our fur baby while we were away. She was easy to communicate with and kept me updated with pictures through out his stay. I’ll definitely call on Kinsey again when we need a home away from home for our dog.”

Jacop S.

“Jacop was absolutely amazing with my dog Cooper. I had a crazy, unpunctual travel time and he was more than accepting and understanding. My dog went on a vacation while I went on a vacation. I could tell from the pictures he sent me, and because he was a happy happy camper when I picked him up. There was a moment before my dog, or jacop, recognized I was there to pick him up and I noticed how happy and loving my dog was looking up at him and enjoying his time with him. I will 10/10 recommend trusting your doggo with Jacop. Will definitely ask him to watch Cooper again.”

Heather C.

“Porkchop thoroughly enjoyed ringing in the new year with Heather and Louis. Heather is very responsive and good about sending updates and photos. The drop-off upon my return was a godsend. Louis was a great new partner in muddy crime for Porkchop to get his energy out and his appetite up (sometimes not an easy task when I am away). Will definitely book again.”

Katie C.

“Katie and her family were amazing with my big Shepard. He was well taken care and had fun throughout ( evident through photo updates sent ) We will definitely try to have Katie care for our pup in the future. Thanks so much!!”

Mike Z.
“Mike and Tom were excellent sitters for us while we flew into Asheville for a weekend downtown. Their dog JinJin (sp) is so sweet too, and loves other dogs. We knew our Prissy was in very capable, loving hands and we were able to see some tourist attractions that didn’t allow non-service dogs, thanks to them. I highly recommend requesting Mike’s services if you are in need of a sitter.”

Tammy S.

“Tammy was amazing! Not only did she save us after a cancelation and thinking we had to cancel our trip, but she took wonderful care of my puppies! She sent many photos letting me know my pups were ok. She cared for them just like her own. I will definitely have her watch my pups on our next trip!”
