All I can say is that I didn’t know Georgie could possibly be more spoiled than he already was but he is and that is a good thing! Made the entire trip away perfect knowing he was being so loved. Anyone who adores their dog and considers them their baby and not just a pet, do not hesitate to trust Toni to care for them.

I booked this boarding stay last-minute, after our initial pet care plan fell through, but it really couldn’t have worked out better! Valentine and her family were so great with my pup, Rocky. They kept her safe and busy while my husband and I participated in a friend’s wedding festivities. I felt confident leaving Rocky with Valentine, and I would definitely book again if ever back in the area. She’s caring and knows what she’s doing with animals, for sure.

Wow! We cannot say enough wonderful things about Alyssa and Bryan and the care they gave Theo on his recent (and 1st overnight) visit. The property is a dream, and they are both dog people who know how handle introductions and new environments. Our dog is typically skittish and protective over us and he had the time of his LIFE with them. They are now our go-to in hopes they don’t book out so far in advance haha. So thankful to have found a wonderful family and new friends.

So glad we found Robin to take care of our 3 year old (very attached) dachshund, Elvis, for a weekend we were out of town. Robin kept us updated daily with pictures and videos and I felt so comfortable and relieved that he was in good hands. Robin's dog, Winston, was a sweet playmate for our pup too. Elvis came home happy as ever. Thanks so much, Robin!

Jessica and John were amazing! My pup Ruby had so much fun with them - exploring the woods and trails outside and cuddling on the couch with their two girls! They are communicative, professional, and their love and care of dogs is evident! I had some travel delays and they were really understanding and flexible in coordinating pick up which was such a relief. Looking forward to her next stay with them!

About: I have been a veterinary nurse at an AAHA accredited hospital for the last 6 years, and prior to that, worked at an additional hospital as well as a pet store with exotics. I am more than comfortable administering any method of medication, and taking care of your medical needs, special needs, or senior fur babies. I own two friendly dogs, two sassy cats, and a baby ball python myself- variety is the spice of life. If you’re looking for a medically experienced caretaker for your kids, I’m your gal! *also have grooming experience with medical needs animals I just moved to the Asheville area, so Im excited to explore around. I have just taken a M-Th veterinary position, but I still plan on working Rover into my schedule! I have two friendly dogs, who will play with dogs that want to play, ignore the ones who don’t, and will be gentle with the young and little ones. I do not have a yard, but I am very active and used to taking my large dogs for >3-4 mile walks daily.

About: I have had dogs my whole life. I have experience caring for puppies, elderly dogs and sick/disabled dogs. I can administer medication, if needed. My dogs are our family members and yours will be treated the same. I am currently working from home so your pet won’t be left home alone for very long periods. I am available during the week and weekends including holidays. I have two very sweet and mellow Cavalier King Charles Spaniels to keep your doggie company. They will have access to 2 separate fenced in areas, one with a doggie door. Your dog can be crated or not and are welcome on the furniture with our dogs. Ours sleep in an x-pen together but your dog can sleep where ever it prefers. I want them to be comfortable like it is their own home.

Jackie was phenomenal with my dog. At the time Jackie watched her, she was sick and on borrowed time. She gave her so much attention and as someone who works with animals, understood the situation. I can not recommend Jacki enough, especially for dogs that may be elderly or sick.

Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .

While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.

Many sitters in NC ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.

By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.

If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.

For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.

Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
