About: I own a senior dog currently and have 2 years of fostering multiple types of dogs until they were adopted. I took a break from Rover in 2021 when i started fostering dogs and now that I have my senior dog, I’m more able to do Rover because he has a very set schedule. Additionally, I have several years of pet sitting experience. I have a 5 year old Tuxedo cat and a 4 year old orange tabby cat. I work full time at home with mostly flexible hours, so unless I have meetings, I am able to do most times during the week. Sunday mornings is my in office day, so from 8:30am-12 on Sundays I am unavailable Whenever I am outdoors with a dog, I will have an eye on them if there is a fence and on a leash. I am accustomed to escape artist pets, so I am good at getting in and out of homes without letting an animal out

Allison S.

About: Hello, I'm Allison. I love animals. I started taking care of my family's pets when I was 4 years old. Animals play a huge part in my life, especially dogs. I'm a proud owner of a mix breed (Chance) and two other dogs(Loki and Prada. Who are all rescues. Chance was rescued off the side of the road with a minor head injury. Loki was rescued from a litter of pups, where he was the runt that nobody wanted. Prada was rescued from a "homeless", who could not care for her. I'm very patient and loving when it comes to the care of animals. I've worked at a animal shelter/vets office for 1 year. My services include feeding, playing, exercise, bathing, cage-less boarding, teeth brushing, and more. I'm capable of giving your Pet it's medication (oral or injection if needed). Im a stay at home mom. So I'll have plenty of time to play with your fur babies. My schedule is pretty flexible if needed. I have a very friendly and social cat. She mostly stays in her car tree or I can put her in a separate part of the apartment. So no need to worry about your fur baby getting her. I can also crate your fur baby if needed

Britni M.
“Britni is amazing! She takes care of our dog every time we go out of town. She’s reliable, trustworthy, really loves animals, and always makes sure to spend extra time with our dog so she’s not lonely while we’re gone. She adds an extra touch by sending us pictures and videos of our dog when we have to be gone for several days.”

About: One of my earliest memories was getting my first puppy. It was a small Black Labrador from the flea market with my grandpa. I loved that puppy so much, I named him Bear. I always had dogs and cats growing up and never felt like myself if I didn’t have one. I always kept that trend through adulthood I have loved and lost many pets through out the years. That compassion carried through to my career as a nurse, caregiving is just who I am, whether it be for people or animals. I’ll am a nurse for the elderly and people with special needs. In my free time I am wife and mother to two wonderful girls and pet mother to two dogs, three cats and a furry hamster named crouton. I have recently retired from my career as a nurse and am looking for a hobby that I will enjoy, animals are close to the top of the list! I can easily follow any directions you might give for your pets but I am pretty savvy when it comes to care of dogs and cats myself because I have had such a variety of pets. I have had a diabetic dog, a diabetic cat, so I am familiar with animals that have medical needs as well.

Margaret K.
“Margaret dog set for my baby Cinnamon, for three days and she did a wonderful job. She stayed at my house for two days, she fed my dog, gave him bath, and stayed overnight. I will definitely will be using her again.”

Kelley S.
“Kelley is the only person that I would trust to take care of my dogs at this point. Our dogs are the heart of our family and we don't entrust their care over to just anyone. Kelley will be attentive to your pets needs and treat them as if they were her own. You can tell she has a genuine interest in keeping them happy and healthy. Additionally, she is quick to respond to messages and is always on time which is extremely hard to find. Trust me, you don't want to wade around in the murky waters of dog walkers/sitters searching for anyone else.”

Mellyssa L.
“I have known Mellyssa for 9 years. She has helped dog sit for my dogs over the years. From ages puppies to 18 year old dogs. She even helps with my other pets, such as my duck, chickens, bunny, and hermit crabs. She is a big dog lover. We can never walk down the street without her wanting to go up and meet a new dog. she is a very responsible person and can handle very important tasks. She is not afraid to ask for help if she isn't clear on a task she was assigned, which I believe is a very good quality to have. She is very well at taking care of the puppy I have now. She lets her sleep on the bed with her and helps me bring her on walks and is very helpful when bathing her as well. Mellyssa is a very friendly, caring, person and is very passionate about her future in which she wants to help animals. She would go out of her way to help any animal in need. She is very responsible when it comes to giving dogs medications on time and making sure they get fed on time. She's a very compassionate person and you would be very lucky to have such a responsible and respectable person to watch your animals. ”

About: I got the privilege to work at McDowell County Animal Shelter and my passion for animals helped me land my other job as a doggy daycare attendant in Wilmington. Alongside my employments I got the opportunity to pet and home sit for friends and family for the past few years. My experience with animals and caring , walking and feeding them makes me skilled to provide the best care possible. Pets need care and attention to keep them healthy, happy, and safe. They need healthy food; clean, fresh water; and a comfortable place to sleep. Most pets also require regular exercise to stay fit. With my schedule I will be able to provide service everyday of the week to make sure your pet is happy! My clients have said in the photos I send of their pets that they look happy! Some even say I’m an animal whisperer because of my love for animals. Under my care, I make sure they are well fed, have clean water, plenty of cuddles and attention, and walks. I want my clients to be worry-free because they know that their pet is well cared for. Therefore, my promise to my future clients and pets is to provide the best care for every animal under my care. As a photographer and animal lover, I love capturing memorable photos of your pet. You will get lots of updates and videos under my care. Thank you for your interest and I hope you feel free to reach out with any questions or concerns. Have a great day!

Janie L.
“Janie has watched my dogs and cats multiple times (2 dogs and 2 cats). Every time I am kept up to date on how everyone is doing and know they are having a good time. Every time my dogs see Janie they get ecstatic! I even have a cat that is shy that will come out and socialize anytime Janie is around. I have a special needs cat and Janie makes sure that she gets her meds on time every day and my dog with anxiety stays calm (even during storms!) when with Janie. I will continue to have Janie take care of my babies if I ever am out of town.”

Amy Elizabeth H.

“I highly recommend Kailey for all your doggy care needs. She goes above and beyond! She made sure my doggos got everything they needed: walks tailored to their stamina, snacks, food/water, playtime, clean-ups & lotsa scratches n' belly rubs. She is kind, flexible, communicative/responsive and very trustworthy. Everything you want in caregiver! I'm very appreciative of what a great job she does and for making it so easy for me to relax and travel free of worry. Outstanding on all levels!”
