About: I have taken care of several senior dogs and senior cat. I had a blind and deaf dog that wore diapers that I took care of for a year until they passed from a stroke. I would take care of your pets like I took care of my babies. I love animals and knowing they are taken care of and they are happy makes me happy. I’m currently enrolled in college and attend classes twice a week. This semester, my classes are Wednesday and Thursday every week so those two days are the only days that I’m unavailable to take care of your baby or babies. I have a boxer/Pitbull, which is my morning walking buddy. I would take care of your pet like I take care of my sweet baby.

About: I have always had animals of my own that I cared for growing up including cats and dogs, horses, goats, birds, and bunnies! Around the age of 14 I started pet sitting ALL animals (including those stated earlier + reptiles, bugs, livestock, etc…) for friends and family, with eventually led to building a client base outside of that for the following 4 years :) Ive lived in Asheville for 2 years now- Ready to care for any critter! I’m jobless due to the displacement of hurricane, I am willing to really work whenever as long as it doesn’t interfere with my therapy appointments! I have a ‘pet go bag’ of extra leashes and collars, poop bags, aid, and toys for any and all critters just incase of emergencies!

About: I grew up with cats and have been taking care of people's dogs for many years. I was often the go to person for dog sitting in my co-housing community where I lived until recently in Santa Fe, NM. I moved back east at the end of 2022. *Please note that I charge $30 for meet and greets. I can add this on to your total booking fee or you can pay some other way. This ensures that people have a serious intention of booking when they ask me to come out and meet them and their animals and it also ensures that I am compensated for the time I spend doing this. Thank you for your understanding!* also: if people are having issues with their animal(s), like so many people are, I want to recommend animal communicator Penelope Smith. She has a whole directory of animal communicators on her website animaltalk dot net. In the spring of 2022, I completed my graduate school classes in art therapy and clinical counseling at Southwestern College in NM and am working towards growing my business as an artist. I have the flexibility to pet sit often during this transition. I do not have an "online job". I take my artwork with me when I housesit and work on things that I can do at other people's homes (like sewing). Because of this, I am able to spend most of the time pet sitting at home with the animal. I enjoy connecting with both cats and dogs in their homes. I like taking dogs out on long hikes and I am a cat whisperer.

About: Hello! I'm Coryne, and I'm a student mental health therapist and a huge animal lover! I grew up around all sorts of animals, from cats and dogs, to horses and parrots. While I’m in school, I always find myself wanting more animal time, and I am always happy to meet new pets and help out their hard working parents! I know what it's like to be a dog parent that sometimes needs some extra help! I have plenty of personal and professional experience taking care of mainly dogs, cats, and horses, and I do have some experience with bunnies and birds. I’ve also worked in shelters, doggy daycares, and horse barns! With all of these animals, I have vast experience in many methods of care, including feeding and medicating. With the experience I gained over my life, I have become very familiar with animals of many kinds and needs. I am thrilled at the idea of meeting new furry friends and offering the care and attention they need! I could not think of any better way to fill my time between my classes and internship. I hope to offer just as much love and care to your pet as you would yourself! **PLEASE READ** My real availability may vary slightly than what is seen on this calendar, so to make this easier on you, here are the times and days I am most likely available: MONDAY: Mornings: 6AM-8AM Afternoons: 3PM-4PM Evenings: 4PM-10PM TUESDAY: Mornings: 6AM-7AM Afternoons: NONE Evenings: 7PM-10PM WEDNESDAY: Mornings: 6AM-9AM Afternoons: 1PM-4PM Evenings: 4PM-10PM THURSDAY: Mornings: 6AM-11AM Afternoons: 11AM-3PM Evenings: Biweekly class, sometimes NO availability FRIDAY: Mornings: 10-11AM Afternoons: 11AM-4PM Evenings: 4PM-6PM I take safety and security very seriously and I will do whatever it takes to ensure the safety and wellbeing of your pet. No matter what type of pet you have, I will happily provide the care needed to ensure their safety based on your instructions and your pet's specific needs. I have understanding and experience in these needs because I am a pet parent to an anxious and reactive dog! About: I've spent much of my life around cats, dogs, and farm animals, and would love an opportunity to provide your pet with tailored care and attention. Though I have only cats at home, I love to pet-sit so I can hang out with dogs! Active dogs will get lots of play and outside time according to your preferences, but if your furry friend is happier lounging on a couch, I'll be glad to keep them company. In addition to cats and dogs, I've also been the "critter sitter" for various farm animals-- horses, mules, goats, rabbits, and chickens. I currently work part time, so my schedule is very flexible. Whenever possible, I will match your daily routines so your pet feels more comfortable. My general approach to house-sitting/visits is "leave no trace." Any issues that occur in your space will be communicated promptly. I also have a fenced yard where pups can roam and play safely, though I prefer leash walks (or short hikes, if you're comfortable!)

About: I grew up riding horses and spending most of my free time at the barn, where I eventually started working and gained years of experience with all kinds of animals, especially dogs. I’ve house-sat countless times for my former trainer, taking care of her four Dobermans, along with other pets and farm animals. When she began breeding Dobermans, I was hands-on in raising several litters, giving me extensive puppy care experience. This past summer I was the head caretaker and instructor for five Golden Doodle puppies at a girls’ summer camp. I managed their feeding schedules, socialization, crate training, and daily care. I also have a strong foundation in animal health and behavior from both school and hands-on work in animal-focused environments. I’m comfortable with dogs of all sizes and temperaments, from high-energy puppies to older dogs who just want some gentle company. I’m confident, reliable, and genuinely love being around dogs. I’d be honored to care for yours like they’re my own! I attend Warren Wilson College, which is a work college meaning I work 12 hours a week on campus in addition to my classes. Despite that, I have a very flexible schedule that allows me to consistently prioritize pet care. My mornings are free until 10am, and my evenings open up after 6pm throughout the week. I’m available for walks and drop-in visits Monday through Friday, and I can board or house-sit over the weekends (Friday–Sunday). Because I’m used to balancing school, work, and animal care, I’m reliable and great at time management. I truly enjoy building pet care into my routine- it’s something I look forward to! I’m happy to work around your schedule and your pet’s needs as much as possible. My approach to pet care always depends on what makes your animal feel safest and most comfortable. For cats, I follow their lead- whether that means quiet companionship, lots of play, or giving them space. I’m happy to stick to any routine they’re used to, and I’ll make sure they feel secure, relaxed, and well cared for in your home. With dogs, I’m naturally very active and love spending time outdoors. There’s a beautiful creek and plenty of trails near my school, and- if you’re comfortable with it- I’d love to take your pup out for some light adventuring and enrichment! I’m also totally happy to stick to their normal walking route and routine if that’s what they’re used to. I’m attentive, always respectful of your preferences, and always focused on keeping your pet safe, happy, and well loved.

About: Hello my name is Noah, I’ve taken care of many breeds of dogs and cats all ages for many years. I have dealt with all age groups with a variety of specialized needs from diets to health needs. I not only have my own fur babies but I take care of the dogs and cats at work by walking them, making sure they have food and water, and clean safe place to sleep. I work with kids in a group home and I work a week on a week off so on my weeks off I have open availability. I am new to NC as I just got married and my wife Kaylee who also has worked with kids and has 10+ years of experience and I are looking for a second job to add some extra purpose and happiness and as much as we love animals I know this would be a great fit. Her and I are both happy to come on meet and greets and discuss any and all pet care needs and we share duties and responsibilities on rover due to schedules. Her and I want to always make sure we respect any owners care instructions and make sure your fur babies are given the best care possible so that you can be assured they are cared for while you are away. I love all animals and am always looking to get involved and give back where I can as animals give so much selfless love to humans. I’m very active and have helped with potty training as well as training kittens to use the litter box. I feel I have a lot of patience and understanding to each animals and families individual needs. I have a pretty flexible schedule and can manage my time very well. I hope to find a few good fits as I finish school and to provide the best care to the animals and owners. I have a fenced in yard for my dogs and also walk them daily. They are crate trained and house trained as well. If the customer has a fenced in yard that is great and if not I do not mind going on walks or jogs with the dogs.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I was young and helped friends and family with their other pets including cats. Once my own dog became sick several years ago, I decided my love for animals was much more and wanted to help others. I have cared for many types of dogs and I’m very comfortable handling any medical issues as well as social anxiety since I’ve helped mine as well as others with these conditions. I’m certified in pet first aid and CPR. When I lost my 16 year old cavalier King Charles spaniel a year and a half ago, I decided to be more available and pet sit. I currently have a young, terrier mix who is a ball of energy, I’m very flexible and can do house sits, drop ins, and walks. I will take care of additional needs requested and I’m good at communicating so you will know how your loved one is doing while I’m with them. I very flexible but do currently work Wednesday evenings and usually one day a weekend. This may change to starting in May to more availability. I have a fenced in yard but live on several acres of land. My young terrier loves exploring the woods and creek. I care for senior dogs who do not have this lifestyle and have mobility and other issues that need special attention. I’ve always had my own dogs and clients who prefer them to sleep with me and are on my sofas but I tailor my care to what the owners want and is how they are comfortable.

About: I bring a broad background in animal care, with years of experience volunteering at dog and cat rescues in Guatemala. During that time, I fostered dogs, trained puppies, and assisted at spay and neuter clinics. I am active and enjoy running with dogs, which makes me a great match for high-energy pets. In addition to my dog experience, I have worked with horses and lived with cats, giving me a strong understanding of animals with different needs and personalities. My goal is always to provide compassionate, attentive, and reliable care so pets feel safe, happy, and loved while their owners are away. I have a flexible schedule and can provide pet care 24/7. Most of my time is spent managing and maintaining my property, which gives me a steady routine and plenty of availability for pets. I enjoy being active and outdoors, so I’m happy to take dogs for walks, spend quality time with cats, and ensure all pets receive consistent attention, exercise, and care throughout the day. I live on a quiet dead-end road in the woods, right by a river, providing a peaceful and secure environment for pets. I have a friendly cat to keep other animals company when appropriate. I also care for pets in their own homes, spending time training, walking, and engaging them safely outdoors. I am attentive and vigilant, ensuring pets are happy, supervised, and well-cared for at all times.

I understand that pets are apart of the family and caring for them requires time and attention. I currently have three pups of my own, my largest being a 100 pound Mastiff mix that I adore. About: Hi there! I’ve had the privilege of working at the McDowell County Animal Shelter, where my passion for animals truly began to grow. That love for pets later led me to become a doggy daycare attendant in Wilmington. Over the last few years, I’ve really enjoyed meeting new people, spending time with pets, and making lasting connections through Rover. With hands-on experience in walking, feeding, playtime, and giving lots of love, I’m dedicated to making sure every pet in my care feels safe, happy, and comfortable. ⏰ My Schedule: I work a 9–5 during the week, but I’m available for before/after work visits or overnight stays—and my weekends are completely free for pet sitting, walks, and extra snuggles. Clients often tell me their pets look happy and relaxed in the photos and videos I send. I believe animals can feel when they are genuinely loved, and that’s the kind of care I bring to every visit. Under my care, your pets will always have: ✔ Fresh food and clean water ✔ Regular walks and exercise ✔ Plenty of cuddles, play, and attention ✔ Memorable photo and video updates 📸 My promise is simple: to treat your pets like family and give you peace of mind while you’re away.🐶🐾🐱 Caring for pets is a natural part of my daily routine. I make sure they have healthy food, clean water, exercise, and a comfortable space to relax. During the week, I’m available for before and after work visits, and on weekends I’m completely free to provide longer stays, walks, and extra attention. Pet care fits easily into my schedule because I truly enjoy it—it doesn’t feel like work, it feels like quality time with a furry friend.
