“Holly did an amazing job taking care of my dog, Buddy, while I attended a special event in Union Mills. From the beginning, she was extremely responsive and offered helpful suggestions to make Buddy feel more comfortable, especially since he suffers from separation anxiety. I was concerned about how he would cope, as he typically howls, pants, and shakes until I come home. Holly was very kind and gentle with Buddy, and it was clear that she genuinely cares about the animals she works with. She kept me updated on how Buddy was doing throughout the evening and even sent me a few sweet photos, which helped put my mind at ease. I feel confident recommending Holly to anyone in need of care for their pet!”

“Jackie and Sammy are great. Loretta loved their backyard and all the walks and cuddles. They truly treated Loretta like she was their own. Would definitely recommend!”

About: Since losing my own dog a few years ago, it’s been extra special to love on and care for other pups. I’ve spent many years caring for dogs of all breeds, sizes, and temperaments — from high-energy puppies to gentle seniors who just want a calm friend nearby. My approach is patient and intuitive: I focus on bonding, learning their routines, and adapting to each dog’s unique needs. Whether your pup loves long walks, cozy snuggles, or structured routines, I’ll follow your directions closely and keep their care consistent. Communication is key for me — you’ll always get photo updates, check-ins, and a few sweet stories from their day. 🐾 I work full-time from home, so I’m available throughout the day for walks, playtime, potty breaks, and plenty of love and attention. My fiancé also works remotely, so there’s always someone home to keep your pet company and make sure they’re comfortable and cared for. I’m flexible with timing and can usually accommodate early mornings, evenings, or last-minute requests — just send me a message and I’ll do my best to make it work! My fiancé and I live in a cozy home tucked in the peaceful Black Mountain area — our property sits on a small, farm-like setting with open space and views of nearby horses. We have a large, safe yard that’s perfect for walks, playtime, or just relaxing outdoors, plus a big covered porch where pets love to hang out and enjoy the mountain breeze. Inside, it’s quiet and comfortable — a calm environment that helps pets feel right at home. We share our space with two older, declawed cats: Sophie, my sassy little diva, and Millie, who’s gentle, curious, and sweet-natured. They tend to keep to themselves — Sophie usually prefers to nap in her cozy hideaways, and Millie will just watch politely from a distance. If needed, it’s easy to separate spaces so everyone stays relaxed and comfortable. Since both of us work remotely, your pet will never be left alone for long. We’re home all day to offer company, walks, playtime, and plenty of love — a peaceful, mountain home where your pet can truly feel cared for. ❤️
“Awesome awesome awesome!!! June had a blast! Dan was available in a super pinch when my mother in law required surgery! He even kept just a bit later with very little notice! High fives all around!”

“Alyssa and Bryan took such great care of our two girls and they have come back happy and tired both times we’ve sent them! They kept us updated with photos and letting us know what they had been up to. They asked a lot of thoughtful questions about Zoe and Riley and I’m very happy to have found them to take care of my crew. They have a great space and yard for the dogs to play and explore, which was a big draw for me. Will definitely book them again!”

“Finally found a great dog sitter in the area 😃 Richard is great with dogs. First time to book with him and our Lokee just chilled with his pack. He replies fast and easy to coordinate with the schedule. We will definitely book again.”

“Super friendly couple, who obviously love dogs. They took the time to get my dog acclimated, which she did quickly, and they also checked in while I was out. The have a great fenced in back yard. Definitely recommended.”

About: I grew up helping take care of dogs, from young pups to old pals. We had 3 pugs, 2 of which we raised, and 4 labs at different times, one of which we raised. I helped care for all of them into their senior years, and they’re all a part of my fondest memories! I make my living as a musician, working for myself, so while I can be busy on the weekends and go on tours at times, outside of those things, my schedule is extremely flexible. I’m extremely flexible during the week, and while my weekends are often busy, I could still be open to day-time checkins or walks. Normally, I know my schedule quite far in advance, so I can be reliable. I am prepared to treat your dog as the individual they are, with attention to any details and intentionality they may require. If your dog needs a place to stay, I live in a 3 bedroom house on three acres, plus a screened in porch. I welcome dogs inside and have lots of space to take them for walks. I have no other pets (yet!) and no kids, so I am able to fully dedicate my attention to your pooch. What’s more, I am open to coming to you, whether that’s day-time checkins or overnight stays, whatever your situation calls for!
“Jackie is the BEST and my Pom pup Remy had a great day. He met a new doggie friend and went for a hike. Thank you Jackie! Remy will come see you again next time we're in Asheville :-)”

“My Banjo loves JP. She takes excellent care of him. Shes fully integrated him into her own pack of bigger dogs of different breeds, as well as with her children. He has the best time when he goes to visit. He comes home worn out and so happy. She has so much knowledge as to animal behaviors. I’m so glad I found her.”

“Lena did a great job taking care of my pup who had surgery and needed some love while I was gone for long clinical days at the hospital. It gave me peace of mind she was being well taken care of. I will definitely be using Lena again to care for my pups.”

“My shih tzu Molly enjoyed her day spent with Lyn and got to meet Lyn's two dogs and cats and even got along with the two cats which is good since I wasn't sure how Molly might do around cats.”

About: I love animals! After having my daughter I opted to pet sit for friends instead of adopting another dog of my own, and it's been a great treat. Now I'm opening up my services to others! I have a great fenced in yard and will make sure your fur-baby gets regular walks around town. I've volunteered with shelters and rescue organizations, and been through a lot of training with my own dogs. I work from home, so am able to provide walks in the morning and evening, and potty breaks throughout the day. I am happy to follow any protocol for care. I am very attentive to pets and they will always be under my watchful eye! Even when outside. I am comfortable crating, or they can have free range in the house.
