“Mya was a great sitter for my two cats! It was clear even from the meet & greet that she likes cats, and mine loved her right back! One of them is on a special diet and Mya followed all my food instructions perfectly. She was also able to get my other pickier cat to eat wet food which can sometimes be a struggle. I highly recommend her and would definitely use her again. Thanks, Mya!”

About: I’ve loved dogs my whole life and have raised mine from puppies. I’ve also happily walked, house-sat for, and boarded friends’ dogs in times when I didn’t have one of my own. I’m planning a career transition and will be working on a personal creative project, so I will have a flexible schedule to respond to pet parents’ needs during busy work days. Regular walks are important for a happy and healthy pup! When I walk my own dog, I follow routes that will keep us both safe and am always careful in any interactions with other dogs, especially if we don’t know them. I’d do the same for your pet and abide by any specific instructions you might have!

“Aislyn was wonderful with our puppy Scout. She was super responsive, on-time, and provided great pictures and write-ups of our visit. That was especially important to us as Scout is our first puppy and we were nervous about leaving her home alone for the first time. Scout always looked so happy in the pictures and when we came home from work!”

“Taylor was the best pet sitter! She obviously loves animals and made sure she knew what would make the kitties most comfortable and happy. Her communication was great and she was careful to follow all the requests we made for taking care of our pets.”

“Kaitlyn was great with my cat Alpha for a couple drop-in when I was out of town for the weekend. He's very social and she gave him lots of attention so that he wasn't as lonely while I was out. I also got detailed updates from her visits.”

“Aly is great! She dropped in to care for my cat for several days during the holidays. She took great care of her during that time, following all the instructions we discussed, and providing thoughtful details and wonderful pictures of the visits. Definitely recommended.”

“McKenna was amazing with Goose and Roo! We came back to tired, content puppies. McKenna was great with sending regular updates and pictures. We definitely plan to have her watch the dogs again next time we’re out of town!”

About: I have taken classes in dog behaviors and how they act when they might need a particular action done. I have a NAPPS certification, which is National Association of Professional Pet Sitters that is earned for all small animals, both including dogs and cats. I have had my own very young puppy, so I know how to handle and train them in a gentle manner that they will respond to. I have tons of experience in senior dogs and cats, so I am patient to more slow animals or paying attention to them more and making sure they have what they need. I have an extremely open schedule and can stay over for longer periods of time than most people. I am free almost every single day for hours on end, so finding when I can come over is no trouble. I’m easy to schedule if I need to house sit, and am extremely responsible and willing to stay overnight when needed. I love taking care of animals in their own homes, knowing they’ll feel the most comfortable surrounded by their familiar surroundings. The only thing I care about is that your furry companions are safe and cared for in a way that they don’t feel out of place or missing the love they got before you left them in my care.

“Anne is extremely trustworthy and has been taking care of my pets for years. In addition to basic care, she plays with them if time allows, medicates as needed, and lets me know if she observes any unusual behavior. I'm very comfortable with my pets in her care!”

“Lexy and Robert were super awesome caring for my sweet baby Nova. They were very responsive and always made me feel like she was in good hands. My go-to in Clarendon!”

About: Hi I am a poodle mom recently undergoing a career change looking for part time work. I have over 20 years experience caring for cats and dogs of all sizes and demeanors. My primary goal is to ensure your pets feel safe and happy for during our time together. I am flexible and able to do check ins with the owner, log information and provide updates to ensure communication lines are working. I prefer daytime work but also can do short term all day care when you need to leave town or have a vacation. Overnights of a few night also Ok. I am flexible and can walk dogs, provide in home care or run dogs in fenced areas or at area parks. I am very familiar with regional walking areas as a dog owner in northern VA.

About: I love dogs! I've been walking dogs for over 6 years and had my own dog before that. I have years of experience walking, feeding, playing with and caring for several different dogs in Arlington. I'm a North Arlington native! I'm currently job searching, so I can care for your dogs throughout the day, including long walks, potty breaks and overnight stays. I generally come and go during the day. I'm happy to stay at your home and do anything you need for the dogs and the house. I do not have dogs stay with me in my own home.

About: I grew up with pets being part of the family. Over the years I have loved a dachshund, whippet and golden retriever. As well as three cute kitties! I started pet sitting around the age of 10 and have loved caring for each animal I’ve met! I hope to spend quality time with your pet whether it be a long walk or play time! I just graduated high school and am on summer break before I start college in the fall! I am attending a phlebotomy program in July for a few hours each morning but am free in the afternoons and evenings. I want your pets to feel at home when I am around. I plan to offer them what i do my own pets, unconditional love and care.

Tegan L.
“Tegan has looked after my dog Leo and my four cats all at once, she really handles this huge load with overwhelming grace! She is definitely my go to sitter just because she knows animals on a level that no one else can replicate. For example, she taught my dog Leo how to paw even in his old ages. But other than that, she is super communicative and she always gives her 110% whenever I need her. Tegan is a lovely woman.”
