“Diana was so sweet to me and my little Vita! She greeted me so warmly when we first met, and immediately introduced me to her husband and daughter! She took such great care of my precious pup! She sent me lots of photos during the daycare visit and I will be booking another daycare visit in a week! She was wonderful!”

“Andrea was amazing! This was our first time using Rover and it exceeded our expectations! Our dog is very anxious, nervous l, and particular about who he stays with, so we were hesitant to leave him with someone he wasn’t familiar with. Andrea offered to meet him before which was great! When we left him with Andrea for a few days, he warmed up to her quickly! She sent us pictures throughout his stay and kept us informed. We will definitely be leaving our dog with Andrea again. She was wonderful!”

“Chloe is so sweet and caring! Hugo really enjoyed a chill day with her. Chloe really helped us out in a pinch because I teach and my son got called for jury duty. We’re so grateful he enjoyed his stay with Chloe!”

“Jimena was so gentle and caring of our Hugo. He quickly warmed up to her, and Hugo enjoyed the walks she took him on! I really appreciated that she was available last minute and that she is so close to us! We also loved getting the videos to see how he was doing and it was just perfect 👌”

“It was the first time I left me boy and can’t be more happy by choosing Ami! She gave him so much love, I could tell from the pictures she sent and by seeing him after. He already misses her and friends he made over there!”
“It was our first time using Rover and Silky for our puppy! Silky sent plenty of pics to let us know he was having fun which helped a lot. Studying to be a vet tech working from home with her husband also was a plus for us since we are home with our pup 24/7 and did not like that most kennels leave them all night alone. Looking forward to using her again.”

About: I have always had a dog or dogs in my life, and I feel that I always have a good connection with them. If someone would like to know what kind of dog owner am I, they just need to see my relationship with my dog to understand that I respect them and take a good care of them. I have had all kinds of breeds, from a Pomeranian, to a pitbull and a black lab, so I feel I can take care of any type of dogs
“Our 18 month old dog had never stayed with anyone other than my husband and me and had tremendous separation anxiety. Ekaterina communicated with us prior to the first visit in order to be prepared for his needs. She made every effort to comfort our dog on his first stay, keeping him by her side most of the time. She also sent updates and photos. The 2d and 3d visits went very well. She is very caring and gentle and has an excellent manner with animals. We can't wait to have our dog stay with her again-he feels the same way!”

“Miss Denise is the best thing that’s ever happened to us! My dog is finicky and they bonded since day 1. True romance! I trust her wholeheartedly. Nice long walks and lots of TLC and picture updates. We couldnt ask for anything more, we are blessed to have her in our lives.”

About: I’ve fostered dogs and cats, helped rescue strays, and friends and family often count on me to walk or pet sit when they’re out or busy. I currently have a work from home job. Usually available at most times, just need prior notification and I can usually make it, I'm flexible. I treat every pet like they're my own whether it's in my home or someone else's. I make sure the environment is calm and safe. I keep doors and gates secure, watch closely during walks, and follow any specific routines or instructions the owner provides. I'm big on trust, so I always communicate and send updates.
About: I live in one of the most beautiful cities in Miami, the Village of Biscayne Park, neighboring Miami Shores and El Portal. I have loved & cared for dogs all my life from many of my own to friends & family pets as well. From puppies to senior care I have owned Great Danes, Sharpeis, Frenchies, Italian Greyhounds, Chihuahuas & many more. I always vibe well with dogs. I have the patience & experience on how to administer all type of medications, exercise, diets & special food. I work from home, which makes me available 24/7 -including holidays- and allows me to do dog boarding and day care. Therefore, you can be assured your pet will get all my love, attention as well as lots of play time. Our pets have access to the whole inside of the house in a very comfortable environment. I also have a fence-secured backyard, where they’re free to roam around with supervision at all times. I normally will let our dogs out in the yard about 3-5 times a day depending on the weather. I live one block away from our city recreational park for those nice long walks. 🐾🐶🦮🐕🦺.
About: One thing that sets me apart is my years of experience working at the PetsHotel in coral gables. During my time in that position my responsibilities included giving food, water, walks, administering medicine, and being prepared to deal with or prevent any pet emergencies. Pet care is the most important part of my daily routine. I make time each day for feeding, exercise, and monitoring overall health to ensure pets stay happy and well cared for. I have ample space, cozy furniture, and an outdoor enclosed yard for playtime. I own multiple crates and can easily give your dog their own area if they prefer being unbothered. I have two small dogs that are both very friendly, properly trained, and have all their shots up to date.
“She’s awesome. My dog has separation anxiety so he cries wanting me to come back but she kept him entertained and he was happy to see her the following day :) honestly. Sweet girl I would trust my dog with! 10/10 couldn’t recommend enough!”

They let him gotten used to the home areas . He played with his toys . Stayed with Becky in the sofa watching cartoons which he loves . A home his mommy trust ! Thank you to both of you ❤️we will be back next week !”

About: Hi, I'm Brett! My fiancée Camila and I have had dogs since we were kids, and we truly love having dogs around the house. We had two beloved Goldendoodles, Willow (13) and Griffey (14), who were truly part of our family. We lost them over the past two years, and caring for dogs again is something we’re excited to do with a lot of heart, patience, and respect for each pup’s routine. Through the years, we gained experience with every stage of a dog’s life—from energetic younger years to the extra patience and attention senior dogs need. What sets us apart is the calm, attentive environment we provide. We understand that every dog has their own personality and routine, so we focus on consistency, patience, and making them feel at home. We’re very attentive to feeding schedules, walks, bathroom breaks, and any routines that help your dog feel comfortable and secure. We’re especially well suited for dogs who enjoy a relaxed home environment with lots of supervision, companionship, and care. Because we’ve had low-shedding breeds ourselves, we’re particularly comfortable with doodles and similar breeds. Pet care fits naturally into our routine. We work from home, so we're able to provide consistent attention throughout the day, including regular potty breaks, walks, and supervised time indoors. We maintain a predictable daily rhythm so dogs can settle in comfortably. Walks, feeding, playtime, and rest are all spaced throughout the day based on the dog’s normal routine. We also keep owners updated with messages and photos so you can feel confident your dog is doing well while you’re away. Safety and comfort are our top priorities. Dogs in our home are always supervised and cared for in a calm, structured environment. We keep routines consistent with what your dog is used to and make sure they have plenty of opportunities for outdoor breaks, exercise, and relaxed indoor time. We take time to understand each dog’s habits, preferences, and any special instructions you provide. Clear communication with owners is very important to us, and we’re happy to send regular updates and photos. Our goal is simple: to make sure your dog feels safe, comfortable, and cared for like part of the family while you’re away.

Alex was great with Thor! He was patient, caring, and made Thor feel comfortable right away. You could tell he genuinely enjoys being around dogs, and Thor was so excited to see him which made me feel even better leaving him in Alex’s care. He was also super communicative and reliable throughout everything. Definitely recommend him!

Ariana took my cavapoos for the day and was great. She clearly loves dogs, was understanding about my pups' individual needs, and was very open and flexible in terms of scheduling and meeting. We did a meet and greet and a day of daycare and I will call on Ariana again for dog walks and drop in visits.

I was in such a pinch as Leo isn’t allowed on lot of tourist stuff around Miami and also on the hop on hop off bus and I was hoping that my family from out of country don’t miss out on what Miami had to offer . Karen came as a saviour where I could leave Leo behind and I was surprised . The way she took care of Leo kept us updated of his every schedule and even Leo loved staying there. I am going to use her for boarding Leo whenever I am in town . Highly recommended.

Think of doggy day care as your dog’s fun, supervised play date that happens to fit into your workday. Day care through Rover takes place in a real home. This offers a calmer and more personalized environment for your pup.
A typical day can include companionship, one-on-one attention, and same day pick-up and drop-off. Many sitters can also offer structured routines and exercise throughout the day. For recurring, weekly day care, sitters will include photo updates so you can see your dog in their element.
Here are tips for finding the ideal day care fit for your dog:
- For some small dogs: In-home day care can be the perfect fit. Look for sitters whose "can host" section only lists dogs weighing 0–7 kilograms and/or 7–18 kilograms. During your Meet & Greet, ask about play areas based on dog size and energy level.
- For high-energy dogs: The ideal doggy day care can offer scheduled breaks and outdoor spaces or activities. You can also find sitters who host multiple dogs to satisfy your pup’s socializing needs.
- For dogs who prefer human-only companionship: Use the filters "Doesn't own a dog" and "Only accepts one pet at a time" to find the right care.
Play groups can be an option when you book with a day care sitter through Rover. Many sitters do host a small number of dogs at the same time. Smaller dog packs are generally safer, more fun, and ideal for dogs who enjoy playtime but also want to relax throughout the day. When looking for your dog’s pack, check the sitter’s profile to see if they "Accept multiple clients" or have their own dogs. Then during the Meet & Greet, you can see whether your dog is a good fit for their social circle!
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in FL ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
