About: I’ve had 40 years experience caring for my own dogs (3), a cat and parakeets. My current pets consist of an adopted 2 year old Labrador/Retriever mix and a red-eared turtle, that my son graciously brought home from a junior year field trip, 10 years ago. I have cared for pets not of my own, along with house sitting that included dogs, finches, parakeets and an African Grey parrot. Familiar with dog reactivity and leash pulling. Oral medication can also be administered. Currently working full-time as a teacher. I’m available before 8:30am and after 5:00pm for individual walks and/or house sitting. Weekends open for house sitting or individual walks. Following a routine is apart of my teacher life, so following your fur baby’s won’t be a problem. Daily reports with photos/videos can easily be arranged.

About: I’ve had dogs my entire life. Growing up, our family dogs ranged from a big German Shepherd mix, to a Boxer, a Blue Heeler and finally down to dopey little Dachshund named Luther. That little ween stole my heart and now I’m completely hooked and have two of my own named Maisie and Miso. If you know dachshunds, you know they come with plenty of personality, stubbornness, and unique quirks. Having them has given me tons of patience, attentiveness, and a great understanding of how to handle dogs who like to do things their own way. Because of my experience with them and their challenges, I'm great at reading other dogs' needs, staying patient through stubborn moments, and keeping them safe and happy. Your pup will get all the love, attention, and careful supervision they deserve while hanging out with me. I do not have a regular work schedule as I am working on building a business. Because of that, I am very flexible and able to work with your needs. When it comes to safety, trust, and your pet's environment, I want you to feel completely at ease while you are away. I am more than happy to follow any and all instructions you provide down to the exact detail. If you don't have a rigid routine written out, don't worry at all; I will lean on my years of experience to pamper your dog, keep them comfortable, and give them the best possible care. You can also count on me to send regular photo updates throughout my time with them, and I am always happy to hop on a FaceTime call if you want to check in and see your happy pup live. :)
